The scenery and experience was breathtaking! Parking is a bit difficult to find, but after parking and walking for 20 minutes we got to Outdoor Portofino. Staff is friendly and our tour guide was knowledgeable! There was a changing room (but wear your bathing suit to the location) and lockers for belongings. Was very fun!

I absolutely loved this tour! There is a changing room and lockers for your belongings. Just a heads up there is little to no parking in Paraggi bay so we parked in Portofino and walked 15 minutes to the bay along the road (very beautiful walk and there are other pedestrians the whole way). They do provide gear and wetsuits which made it more comfortable in cooler waters. Excellent overview of the species and habitat and overall very worth the price. One last tip! Sometimes police cut off all car traffic going into Portofino or even paraggi bay due to a lack of parking so arrive with extra time, especially in case you have to walk farther than expected.

Sara was a wonderful guide and the kayak tour could not have been better. Great place to rent as well. I went back to rent a kayak two more times and Sara and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. Oh, and this area is incredibly beautiful as well! Quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

It's a good tour. The kayaks are either single or double. You choose. The guide was safety conscious and knowledgeable. The water is amazing. They were kind enough to let us take a kayak out early because we arrived too early. There's zones. The inner zone is really safe. No boats. They take you outside that zone to Portofino which is way smaller than I thought it would be. The guide watches for landing crafts that cross often into Portofino. They have showers and lockers to keep stuff but we brought underwater wallets for our passport and money. They have focaccia and wine after. It's OK. The only thing I would caution which has nothing to do with Outdoor Portofino is that it's located on a bus route close to Portofino. Which is a 10 minutes bus ride from the Santa Margherita train station. But good luck finding a seat on that bus. It's usually swamped with cruise ship tourists so be prepared to take a second bus maybe from the SM city center or even walk which is an hour and a pain. Taxis will rape your wallet. And getting a bus back to SM is also a pain. Sometimes they won't even stop. That's the only real hiccup. If you're crafty you can figure out a way on that bus. hahaha The tour is great! Just beware of getting there in a hot flash. The scenery is worth the ride.

Incredible experience, our instructor was lovely and very knowledgeable about the local area and it's history. We thoroughly enjoyed the little aperetivo afterwards, very generous with the food and wine. Lovely to sit and watch the sunset while enjoying it. Highly recommend!

Besides a good exercise , totally doable , a nice way to see t coast of Porto fino ! Guides are super friendly and knowledgeable !

It was very interesting. Lots of information, patient guide to keep the kids together. Wonderfull! The views of Portofino were amazing and going on 'the big sea' was a nice extension.

The walk from the cruise port was fun & scenic. It took about 20 minutes. The perfect amount of time was spent kayaking with some history along the way. This followed by about 30 minutes of snorkeling starting at the beach. It was so nice to be greeted afterwards with an apertivo of pizza, focaccia, sparkling lemonade and wine ! This was a great half day spent in beautiful Portofino. Thank you Portifino Outdoor team.

Originally it was supposed to be a group of 6 - but 3 did not show up so our group of 3 got a private tour. The tour was great lots of interesting information and beautiful views. We stopped at one secluded beach for a swim - the water was perfect. Our guide was great. Remember to bring a waterproof phone case - we forgot ours and bought one from the operator.

This was a lot of fun. The kayak route was very nice and not challenging so it is suitable for all skill levels. We were even able to jump into the water for a quick swim at the halfway point. (I do not recall any “secret creeks” as it states in the description though). We were able to choose 1 or 2 person kayaks and bring our water bottles with us too. Our main guide, Miguel, was informative and had a great sense of humour. The snorkelling portion was led by Julio and he went over the route and showed us pictures of all of the fish we might see before we went out. At lunch we were given a large tray of pizza and focaccia bread (for 5 people) and an entire bottle of wine (for 3 of us). This was a great way to spend a few hours. (Outdoor Portofino is located on a small cove/public beach which you were able to hang out at before/after your excursion as well. There is no bathroom on the premises though).

Family of 4 with two teens aged 15 & 17. Activity started promptly and was well organised. Lasted 1.5 hours. Perfect amount of time. A lot of fun and good instructors.

Amazing experience highly recommended. The right distance around the Portofino’s bays. The team were supportive and very welcoming. All topped with a bottle of wonderful and some local focaccia. Thanks for having us

My husband and I booked the easy Kayak tour. It was easily the best tour out of the 7 different tours we experienced in the past 2 weeks. Beautiful views and no chance of being left behind with a guide in front and a guide following our small group. I am far from being in shape physically and was able to keep up with some extra effort. The steep stairs down to the beach are uneven, so take your time and hold the railing. There is no back support on the Kayak, so it can be quite an ab workout, but it was absolutely worth it!

We did the kayak tour followed by snorkeling and an aperitivo. The kayaking was a good length, and seeing the coastline and portofino from the water (and away from the crowds) was amazing. Our guides were informative and supportive of my 12 year old who was determined to go in her own kayak. Snorkeling in the bay afterwards was a great surprise. I was impressed by the variety of sealife and clarity of the water.

This was an excellent tour. Manuel was very helpful and spoke excellent English. They do assume that you know how to swim and have general control over a kayak. The snorkeling part was also fun. The water is very cold but the company provided wetsuits. We also got pizza and wine afterwards!
