About the operator
- tonyhO28ZT00Beautiful part of the worldWe got the departure time wrong and missed the coach so spent the morning chasing the group around Lake Como. After being told several wrong instructions over the phone we finally found the group by pure luck just about to board a ferry in Bellagio. The tour guide, Eduardo, was very nice and seemed shocked we actually found them. The rest of the tour was nice, beautiful scenery driving all the way around the lake and eventually getting off at Como to explore for an hour, Which we had already done in the morning whilst trying to find the group, so we just went for some late lunch instead before the drive back to Milan. To be honest a train to Como was only around €15 and the ferry to Bellagio was about the same, the queue at Como was huge though and a lot of the boats quickly sold out so it is a lot easier going on a tour as all travel is obviously included. All in all, a great experience. Cheers.
- Sheryl051800Best summer holidayMy second time here in como and still enjoying the best view of the island we will be back again and will explore more island hopping on our next visit
- AndrewP77200False advertising, not meeting their advertised trip, to many train changing, low standard hotels not suitable for seniorMain reason for trip crossing the Brunig Pass canceled, detour back to Zurich, Bern to Zermatt by commuter train, knee to knee
- 0Anacd000Not worth it.We were expecting way more! Your bus that goes around for a bit, poor explanations that leave you wanting more. The guide spoke both English and Spanish so it was a bit chaotic. It was said that it would be 3h and 30mins, but it was not! In 3h or less we were done and we wasted most of the time going from one place to the other and during that time little to no explanations. Moreover, the guide was told that people upstairs could not properly hear the explanations (due to the guide speaking quietly and the road noises) and he said: “We already tried the radios at the beginning so there’s nothing I can do”. When we tried the radios, we were all close by and standing outside of the bus so no noises were interfering. Don’t think it’s worth the money as you can enter the Duomo for 8€ and buy an audio guide or pay a bit more and do the entire thing with museum and terraces (which I recommend) for twenty something euros; la scala was nice but you can skip the visit tbh; galleria is free and the Last Supper you seem to be able to buy a ticket for just 15€ or so. We bought it only for the Last Supper because we read only that you could only see it with a guide, but it doesn’t seem to be true (double check before but there were people without guide inside).
- Norm P00Waste of moneyThis activity has no merit and is a waste of time and money. After reading the description we booked up with great anticipation, but the tour consisted of 20 minutes or so cruising down a length of canal past mostly uninteresting buildings and lots of graffiti. Then the boat turned around and returned to base with a 360 degree turn at the end in a wide basin. The commentary is via the internet and mine kept cutting out. We felt that we had been ripped off. If I could give it zero, I would.
- eduardr42200Stay away! This was awful. In stead of drinks and food on the boat, you have to pick up your drink and a small box with something in it that didn’t look very nice. It was warm and we weren’t even sure if it was kept in a fridge beforehand. We had to wait in line after that with the box and the drinks in our hands. That was the limit. So we left. It was nothing like advertised or like in the other reviews. Stay far away is my advice.
- James D00Not enough time! The time in Venice was way too short. Should have done free time during the trip instead of the walking tour. The bus ride was really long, maybe instead of a bus we go by train.
- C231RUanthonya00Don't waste your moneyComplete waste of money. The hour long tour takes 45 minutes and involves going up the canal turning around and then back again. The crew do not talk to you and to listen to the commentary requires you to use your own phone and have headphones with you.
- Cassandra A00Amazing experienceAmazing experience. Our tour guide was awesome and very informative. He made sure to explain the itinerary and what to expect. Felt very safe
- lilly c00Good tour! The service provided was amazing! The reviews had me a little worried but if you read the instructions given you will have no problems at all! The staff in the visitor centre were very helpful and ensured us there would be no issues. Cannot believe how rude some people were to the drivers and staff. Any bad experiences are clearly on the individual. Serraville itself was a little underwhelming but that’s no fault on the tour group. Expect to line up and for the discounts and stock to be less than you expect.
- HanTann00Terrible experience overall & bad tour guidesUnfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences for my wife and I. We where on our honeymoon and we wanted to take a nice tour to lake como & bellagio, but it was no where near a nice experience. The tour guide was arrogant, rude to everyone, not helpful at all, was poor in communication skill, and just wanted to get the job done and move on (this did not work well with us, and almost everyone on the tour was complaining). The tour was so bad, that my wife and I spent 30 minutes trying to find a cab to take us back to Milan, as we could not stand the tour guide any longer. This was only the tip of the iceberg, another main thing was that they shortened the stay in bellagio to drive around the Swiss alps inside the bus, and we had no prior notice that we will be passing into Switzerland (having the risk of not getting back into Italy, as we had a one time entry visa, which was laughed at by the tour guide). I unfortunately cannot recommend this tour to anyone.
- 743selwynd00Great ExperienceViews were great. Tour guide was ok. Maybe a little too much talking on the bus but the train was great. Great views
- 406olsen00Great experience!Super cool! Great performers! Good food (nice selection between meat, fish and vegetarian option) and nice party afterwards!
- Explore0584543365500Great tourFantastic tour and fantastic tour guide would definitely recommend. Great way to see the main tourist sites of Milan. .
- rebeccabW3841AM00Mobbed, sweltering and too much traffic!I would warn anyone off taking this tour in the height of summer. Hardly any time spent and no guided tour in either town of Como or Bellagio, and the ferry boats were overcrowded and sweltering with no ability to hear many of the tour guide's comments unless within 10-15 yards of him. Though traffic was light headed to Como, the bus ride back was interminable due to lake vacation and Milan and Como rush hour--poor timing. This tour bites off more than any reasonable tourist will want to try chewing in one day. If you take it, make a beeline to the shady side of the upper deck for the breeze, and plan on hearing nothing from the tour guide due to lack of transmission to your headphone. P.S. There is no hearing aid accommodation with the earbud headset. I left one in and put the headset earbud in the other to make do.

The tour guide Antonella was humorous and very knowledgeable about Genoa, however there were about 30 ppl in the tour and the use of headphones and microphone did not work. Unless your proximity to the tour guide was within 2 feet the connection cut out and we missed 3/4 of what she was saying. It was a Shame bc she was great, but we did not learn much about Genoa bc we couldn’t hear her. If you are looking for transportation to Santa margherita and Portofino I guess it’s good, but such limited time in both places and then just provided a ferry ticket for a 1 hour 40 min ride back to Genoa without enough time to really explore Portofino. Other tours are more expensive but I guess you get what you pay for.

The tour was very informative. We got to walk around Genoa and learn all about its history. We then took a bus ride to St Margharita Ligure and had some lunch there and got to explore the beautiful beachside town. In total we had about 2 hours of free time here. Then, from there, we took a ferry to Portofino. Portofino is incredible but the only thing I would say is that I wish we got more free time in Portofino. We only had about 1.15minutes. I think 2 hours would have been nice. Otherwise, it is a great tour.

Had a wonderful time on this tour! The tour guide, Antonella, was so friendly and funny. She spoke English very well and has great knowledge of Genova and it’s history. The trip was well planned and organized. I had such a great time, I highly recommend!

Honestly this tour was a waste of time. The tour is combined with a group from Milan and as a result the bus arrived late to pick us up. After a short bus trip we walked around the city for about 30 minutes and then stopped for free time of 20 minutes then waited around for another 30 minutes until the bus turned up. We arrived at Santa Margherita Ligure where we had around an hour of free time, but really it ended up being 20 minutes because by the time you find somewhere to have lunch, order and eat there goes 40 minutes. Again once we were back at the meeting point we waited around for 20 minutes for no reason that we could understand. From there we took the ferry to Portofino whereby we were given 40 minutes free time which was just enough to run through the town, line up for an ice cream and get back to the meeting point where by we waited around for another 20-30 minutes for the boat to arrive.
This was the point was where the frustration hit a tipping point, the people who were collected from Genoa were supposed to take the Ferry back to Genoa from Portofino, not to Santa Margherita, however, when we disembarked from the bus at Santa Margherita everyone was told it was ok to leave our bags on the bus, so we (the group members from Genoa) did too. The tour guide then said (when we were at Portofino waiting for the ferry) that we were not going with the group back to Santa Margherita but instead Genoa, however our belongings were on the bus. So in the end we went back to Santa Margherita with the rest of the group whereby we were told that we would have to find our own way back to Genoa which was by train. We were told that we would be reimbursed for the train costs, however after following up with the email address and phone number given to us, no funds have been reimbursed and no reply to my emails has been given.
So long story short, don't bother paying for this tour, instead purchase a train ticket from Genoa station to Santa Margarita Ligure station which will cost 10 Euro (or free if you have the Eurail pass) and then purchase a return ferry ticket from Santa Margherita to Portofino for about 16 euro or a ferry ticket from Portofino to Genoa Euro and actually enjoy your time and not have to wait around for no reason.

Excellent use of time. Genoa guide was excellent giving a rich overview of Genoa’s history. Tour was a great way to identify which areas and places t come back to visit in the following days. Tour guide also provided colorful highlights of Genoa’s culture.

Is it possible to get a slightly earlier start & finish time? How long is the boat ride from Portofino to Genoa? We'll need to catch a train, so would it be possible for us to get an earlier boat?
