Interesting presented by informative driver gave us lots of history of area. Myrhs and legends and knowledge of grape growing. Three groups that day mixed well. Wineries were welcoming , gave us an insight into their work and produce. we all loved the tasting. The castle was an old monastery town and visit was short I would love to have actually seen a castle.

Marco was a great tour guide. Very funny, but also informative. We found the half day visit to wineries great and capped the tour at a castle with a gorgeous sunset. Tasted several wines and purchasing wines was convenient and had them shipped home. Great value for the price of this tour.

This is incredible value for money for a trip out of the city and into some lovely scenery. The wine tastings were interesting and tasty and there is opportunity to purchase. We personally thought the first place was more charming than the second. There is the bonus of a stop at a walled city/castle for just 40 mins which we otherwise would never have been able to get to on public transport. Glad we did it. No regrets. Well organised.

The trip was really beautiful and it was a great wine tasting. But a big BUT is that I don’t thinks it’s fair writing “it will be served snacks” when the snacks literally is a small piece if bread at the first place and some dry crackers and the second… But overall good experience!

Very good tour price-value based. If you are staying in Florence take in count the time in train! Always follow the location shared in the tour info.

The wine tour was ok but nothing to write home about. We visited two wineries, the first one felt very much like we had somehow ended up in a Topshop commercial, the second one was a bit more authentic. Since our bus broke, the departure was 30 min late and therefore everything seemed very rushed, there was only time to quickly taste 3 wines in both wineries and then rush back on the bus already. So the quality of the experience depends on how interested in wine you are - our group was very interested so we would have liked a bit more information on the wine making process, longer tastings and more wines to taste. So it was more like an introduction tasting for people who just want to get a first acquaintance but nothing more.

This sightseeing tour was a great way to see the smaller towns of Tuscany and take in the beautiful landscapes of the region. The rich history of Siena and leaning tower of Pisa were towns I had heard of, but I was amazed with San Gimignano with its charming people and excellent food. Lunch at the winery was also fantastic and I enjoyed all the food and wines given.

Chef Simone was wonderful. Fun and instructive. Wonderful with my granddaughter who loves to cook. Food was excellent and the setting was perfect!

the tour was in English and was fairly busy but worthwhile. meet up at the tramway station and boarded tour bus/coach. tour guide gave a nice history of the region and Chianti history. we stopped at two wineries, the first was very good, polished professional presentation with tasting tips history of the region and production. tasting of 4 wines and some olive oil. Second winery has beautiful scenery and a nice selection of tasting 3 wines. finished tour with short trip to mountain top walled town. overall a good experience and worth the fee.

Great tour but it felt like we were hurrying all the time and spent half the time in a bus. Would have preferred to stop 1 time less, in order to have more time at the other winery and in Monteriggioni.

As you can see I took a lot of pictures and these don’t include the step by step process. Chef Simone has a working restaurant but takes occasional time for these tours, in his home. It is as beautiful as it is rustic. He was a pleasure to be around as he proved to be both humorous as he was informative. We did ravioli and tiramisu. Awesome experience.

Siena is a fascinating contrast to Florence. We were so lucky to see all of the amazing floor in the cathedral, as it is usually partially covered. The piazza must be such a sight when the horses are racing around it. We enjoyed a better wine selection with the simple tuscan fare than at either of the wineries I visited later in the week, and the view was stunning. San Gimignano is a beautiful, tower-topped town, and I wish we could have spent longer there. I wasn't aware of it's reputation for contemporary art and was blown away by the little I had time to see. In fact, I would have happily stayed there and not ticked the "I've seen the leaning tower of Pisa" box.

We pre paid, went to location outside Siena which cost €20 in taxi, waited for 1 hour with no representative in sight before being told it was cancelled. No offer to arrange taxi or costs back To Sinena.. a total disappointment and waste of time especially when on a short break in Tuscany.
