Fantastic day on the bike in Parma and surroundings.
We had a tour with Davide this August and it was just perfect. We brought along our little son of 2 years old in a child seat and this was an amazing way of getting around the surrounding on. We went to a parmesan cheese factory, a Castle for a wine tasting and a micro-brewery for lunch. All of this was not a problem with the little guy. Also worth mentioning was that Davide was watching him while we were having lunch - so the offer should almost state that "babysitting" is also included from the guide :)

      Fantastic half day tour
Highly recommend! We were two families with children from 5 to 15. Davide arranged the food tour in a perfect way for all of us. Even the 5 year old enjoyed it. We recommend sending Davide an email and he will arrange a tour for your needs. We had a half day tour with a visit to a local parmesan cheese factory and lunch at an osteria. It was a perfect day.

      Nice countryside.
Our guide was very nice. The tour of the Parmesan cheese factory was interesting. Lunch was very overpriced. It was a pleasant day in the Italian countryside. For the most part we could have done as well without a guide.

Book this if you can cycle!!!
Davide was a star, super nice and knowledgeable and great lead. I'm not a very confident cyclist and handled it fine, felt very safe. He ran the tour even though it was just me on the day, told great stories and was really accommodating. He's genuinely passionate about the area and the food- do yourself a favour and book!!!

      Fun day on the bike!
Davide studied gastronomy in Parma so he is an ideal guide to Italy and Europe's food capital. Communication for planning our trip was incredibly easy. I was concerned about the distance for my 11 and 8 year olds and he was totally open to making it work for us. The ride is flat and easy, so don't let the number of kilometers put you off. We ended up doing the half day and could have done more.

Best personalized cycling and food tour!
My friend and I really enjoyed our full-day tour with Davide! He offered us a specialized tour based on what we wanted to see in the region and our cycling level. We tried so much great food, saw the cheese production, visited a balsamic artisan, and had fun getting to know Davide. He is a very thoughtful, knowledgeable, and well-organized guide with a great sense of humor. Compared to other tours, this one felt like we had a good friend showing us around for the day. We highly recommend and hope to visit again! Thank you again, Davide!

Cycling and food - The ideal tour
This was a truly fantastic experience with Davide. The tour was both hugely enjoyable and informative, I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a really interesting tour of how local foods are produced. The cycle itself is also stunning.. Davide himself had fantastic knowledge and has a great manner..

      Fantastic, charming host
Davide showed us the key sites of his handsome city, then treated us to prosciutto, salume and Parmesan with delicious Lambrusco (NOT the Lambrusco we get at home. Lovely easy cycling, great local knowledge and lovely food. A must-do if you are visiting. Thank you Davide!

      What a day!
People, don't mind the rankings of Tripadvisor. When we were selecting the tour, ranking of it was rather low, because it is a new business which is just gaining a momentum. Having read through excellent reviews and visited their website I knew we are in luck. Contacted David, got an enthusiastic reply with an approximate itinerary. We were in! On the day of the tour we were greeted by David at the bike station and began our exploration from the early visit to a cheese factory, then a cup of coffee on the way to vineyards and an epic lunch there! Food was delicious, home grown/made, David had the answer to every one of our questions, be it food or history related. Highly recommenD!

We did a bike tour with Davide and it was wonderful! We booked the Two Excellences of Emilia Region and went to taste Parmigiano Reggiano and Balsamic Vinegar. Davide also took us to a fabulous restaurant for lunch. Davide had excellent knowledge to share with us during the tour and the setting was beautiful. It was a long ride but I would 100% recommend to anyone who enjoys active site seeing.

Davidé was a skilled leader on this great way to see an overview of Parma. He pointed out places in the roads that we needed to avoid and at all times kept track of our group of 5. The bikes were in good condition and easy to ride on this flat route. The highlight was a very thorough tour through one of the top producers of cheese in Parma. He was knowledgeable about the process and answered all of our questions. Later we went to a deli and tasted some ham and cheese followed by more biking through the historical center of the city. I would definitely recommend this tour as a great way to see Parma and get some exercise.

Davide’s Bike Food Stories tour was a highlight of our trip to Italy! My family of 4 (2 teenage boys) took the ~20km trip that included a visit to a Parmesan Cheese factory, local salumeria (deli) and a ride through historic Parma. Parma is a very bike-friendly city, and Davide was a fantastic guide and host leading us through the city and countryside. He was very knowledgeable about how Parmesan cheese is made and led our tour of the factory. Lunch at the salumeria was delicious and relaxed. We highly recommend Davide’s tours!

An excellent tour with the charming and knowledgeable Davide. The cheese making was fascinating, the cycling fun and the lunch was delicious. I’d recommend 100% - and tip tip is to book the morning tour to see the cheese process in full.

Davide made this a day to remember! He is a responsible, accommodating and gentle guide with social skills that are personable and professional at the same time! We visited an amazing cheese factory and he thought me a lot about how cheese is parmigiana cheese is made. I will never eat par’ Eva à the same way again! It’s art!
The ride was comfortable and the bikes are very well maintained. We visited Toscanini’s birth house at my request and he was more than willing to take me there and translate for me! Then we had a great lunch break at this small Italian place where they served amazing prosciutto and wine! Well worth taking this tour! It’s price is very small for what it offers! ✌️❤️

I can't say enough about this experience. Davide is a great host and has a very in-depth knowledge of the cheese making process. The morning tour gets to see the cheese making in action, and I would highly recommend doing this one. Great value for the 4 to 5 hours of the tour. Moderate fitness level required as will ride over 20 kms, but relatively flat paths.

Easy to book and find, right near the central station. Bikes were in good working order. David is friendly, good English and interesting to chat to about life in Italy. The cycle to the Parmaggiano factory is flat, the first half is not particularly exciting as it's getting out of the city, but the vista in the countryside changes. Great to see how Parmiggiano is made and all the labor and care that goes into the production. After returning back into Parma, nice little cylce through the town and then a delicious snack at a high quality Salumaria Delicatessan..... don't forget to order a Lambrusco with your cold cuts as they go really well together.

My husband and I enjoyed the tour with Davide very much! The bike ride was enjoyable and a nice length. Davide was always looking out for the safety of the group. The visit to the Parmigiano Reggiano factory was so informative. Davide did a great job explaining everything and answering everyone's questions. The cheese tasting was, of course, lovely and we were happy to buy some Parmigiano right at the factory. Davide also shared some history as we rode into Parma and had lunch at a nice little cafe. I highly recommend this tour with Davide!

Lovely ride safely out of the city to a Parmigiano maker. Process expertly shown and explained by Davide, who is an enthusiastic and lovely guide with a wealth of knowledge. The cheese makers were so skilled, it really was worth the visit. Cheese tasting and nice little shop to stock up on cheese related goodies at the end. Great fun and thus good value, too. Recommended.

    Would give Davide 10
Stars !! My family ages 7 to 69 took this bike tour this week and had a fabulous time! We only stayed in Parma for this tour then went by train to Bologna. We were met at train station and bike pick up is literally steps away. Davide was unbelievably kind. My 8 y/o had trouble with the bike so Davide offered to take him in cart. He loved it and smiled the entire way ! The cheese factory was so interesting and enjoyed the tasting. The town of Parma was beautiful and deserves a full day to explore. Davide genuinely cared about our children and wanted them to have a good time. He even helped celebrate a birthday with candle and dessert at the lunch. Thank you for an absolute perfect experience 🇮🇹😎
