Fabio was the perfect guide, he gave all the necessary historical context without boring us with too much detail on such a short trip. This was perfect going on a golf cart tour as we did not have a lot of time in Rome, it also spared our feet a few kilometres. We stopped at each spot and had time to admire and take pictures. We decided to take a golf cart tour for our first day in Rome. We were lucky enough to have Chiara who told a story of her beloved Rome in the most thorough and interesting way. She brought us to all the places we wanted to see and many hidden gems that only a history buff like Chiara would cherish. We had an awesome 3 hours!!!

We did the early entry semi-private tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s. Luciana was a wonderful guide and had a great sense of humour! She shared a lot of knowledge about the Vatican’s history and highlights of the collections, helping us make connections between the different artistic and cultural influences. She gave us a great overview of the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo’s process so that when we were actually viewing the chapel we could appreciate it in much greater depth. Luciana also provided a lot of information as we visited St Peter’s. She knows how to conduct the tour to make the most of the time and avoid crowds as much as possible.
