A cooking experience we will never forget!
This was a wonderful experience! Hands-on in the comfort of Margherita's home. Margherita was a charming and knowledgable teacher. We learned to make two kinds of delicious pasta as well as tiramisu. What a fun day! We came home and practiced what we had learned and impressed all of our friends. Highly recommend!

Great private pasta cooking class in Bologna
I have booked a private cooking class for (a part of) my family. Cristina's class was great. It was heartwarming how much dedication she showed and she infected us with her passion for Italian pasta and food in general like tasting cheese with 25 year old Balsamico! Although I came with some experience she provided more techniques and hints how to optimize the pasta dishes. We also made a starter and a desert which were delicious but the Pasta-making is what I will remember most. It was a lovely family experience which also included her very kind husband! If I could I would rate her six stars!

      Must do for food lovers!
The highlight of our time in Bologna! Roberta is a passionate and thoughtful chef, who took her time to tech us. It was incredible to be invited into her beautiful home. It felt like a combination of a cooking class and having a private chef cook your dinner with the extra care she took - and the amazing wine!

      Our favourite part of Bologna
The highlight of our trip to Bologna! Roberta was amazing, and made us feel so welcome in her home. We had so much fun, and loved the experience. Was not only a great way to learn to make pasta (and tiramisu), but also a delicious dinner with amazing wine!

      The best cooking class
I had a great cooking class together with Cesarina Paola. We made some very delicious food together, which I look forward to recreate at home. It was a wonderful evening and I had a really great time.

      Excellent experience
This was exactly what I was looking for in a cooking class. Roberta invited my wife and I into her home and she was an excellent host. The lesson was fun and exciting and we both walked away knowing how to replicate a few traditional Italian meals.

Tour of local market and 3-course lunch
We were on a tight schedule in Bologna, and were happy to find this cooking class geared towards making a visit to a local market and learning to prepare a homemade 3-course lunch. Although there was a bit of confusion initially on the meeting location (the Viator app indicated the meeting point to be near the Neptune Fountain in the city center, while one of the e-mails listed the address of the instructor's home), we were able to connect with the instructor to begin the tour. We were introduced to the Mercato Delle Erbe, where we picked up ingredients for our lunch. Some of the shops were closed due to merchants being on holiday during the month of August. However, we found some tomatoes, peaches, local squacquerone cheese, mortadella, guanciale, and fresh piadina wraps. We also stopped by a local bakery (Valentini), where we were introduced to some ravioli shaped shortbread-like cookies. Our instructor Maurizio was such a friendly host, and welcomed us into his beautiful home. We first enjoyed a quick piadina snack (local sandwich). We then enjoyed making our bruschetta appetizer. Maurizio taught us how to make homemade tagliatelle in a tomato based sauce. We finished the meal with a delicious peach cake. It's an experience we will always treasure from our travels there. Thank you for the wonderful lesson!

Mamma mia, what a night!!! The real Italian food!
My wife and I had an amazing experience. Annamaria and Francesco are the best hosts. We had a lot of fun, and even more so we had a perfect time together. From the warm reception to the dinner time, everything was super nice. We absolutely recommend this experience with Annamaria. They are 10 stars, not five! :)

      Absolutely superb
We booked a small group pasta making experience for our trip to Bologna via TripAdvisor/Viator and, once booked, you complete a questionnaire with your preferences and location of your holiday accommodation then you are matched to a suitable ‘cesarine’ host. We had a morning class with Roberta and it was just myself and my partner. It was AMAZING! We’ve done a chocolate making class in Belgium (which we also thoroughly enjoyed), but the pasta class with Roberta was even more superior. Communication beforehand was excellent. Roberta messaged us to confirm her address and check which pastas we wanted to make. Upon arrival, we were treated to a home cooked light meal with local foods and a choice of local wines. Tip - go hungry!! Then we made tiramisu and, whilst that set in the fridge, we made 2 types of pasta, making the dough from scratch. We made tortellini and tagliatelle. Then Roberta made 2 amazing homemade sauces for each type of pasta and we ate them both then eating the finished tiramisu. Roberta was a wonderful host - friendly, informative and helpfully making sure we got the cooking techniques right. Thoroughly recommend this experience when in Bologna.

      Wonderful Experience!
I booked a pizza and tiramisu class with Roberta for my 11 year old daughter and me. It was such a wonderful experience. Roberta took so much time to help my daughter make her own pizza and explain all of the steps clearly. It is clear that she has a passion for cooking and teaching others to enjoy it. My daughter is excited to try to recreate the dishes at home, so it worked!❤️. We had a wonderful time cooking with Roberta and will definitely try to book her again the next time we are in Italy!

      Outstanding evening with Marco
Our experience was fantastic! Marco picked us up and we drove about 20 minutes to his lovely home in the countryside. We were warmly greeted by his wife Silvia and his son Andrea. We had apertivo on the patio and then began making pasta with Silvia. She was so patient and kind. We made tortelloni, tagliatelle and tiramisu. Our meal was lovely. We sat on the patio and ate tortelloni with butter and sage. Tagiatelle with bolognase ragu and tiramisu for dessert. Marco and his family were wonderful hosts and made us feel like celebrities in their home. After dinner, Marco drove us back to our Airbnb. This was the highlight of our 5 week trip in Italy.

      Amazing and Delicious
Highly recommend, couldn’t ask for a better host to teach us traditional pasta making. Paola is amazing. The result of our pasta and tiramisu was delicious. It was our first time ever doing something like this and the outcome surprised us. The Tiramisu was so good I forgot to take a picture.

      Best cooking class experience
Such an excellent experience! Chef Christina made us feel right at home instantly. She was kind, patient and always smiling. Not only did she show us how to make two different types of pasta and a tiramisu - she gave us her detailed knowledge of Bologna’s food history. An extra bonus was meeting her husband Enrico who was the best assistant. After making the food, we all sat down to a wonderful dinner, and enjoyable conversation. We ate well, laughed, and learned about Bologna culture. This was one of the highlights of our trip.
