Frederica was fantastic. She really knew her stuff and gave everyone a chance to take photos, catch up, use the toilet. She knew everything and spoke about 4 different languages. She was brilliant.

During the peak season, the guide was very apt at finding spots in the shade for him to talk about ancient Rome. I felt it was worth the money, considering the ridiculous lines that existed not being in a tour. Worth every penny in that regard.

Great time! Place is incredible! Maximo was very pay and very informative. Loved everything about it. Learned a lot and came away with a new love for Roman History!

We did the Colosseum & Ancient Rome Walking Tour on October 8th with David Battaglino and thoroughly enjoyed it! David was an impressive tour guide with his incredible knowledge of Roman history, his fantastic sense of humor and he took excellent care of our entire group! The tour was informative, never boring, fun and we would highly recommend the tour and definitely recommend David as a tour guide!

When we arrived, we found out that the guide for our small tour group was in hospital with an emergency. Rome Walkers were extremely professional in their handling of the situation. Of course, most of their concern was with their colleague, however they asked us if we would like to join the larger group, and receive a 50% discount (we had paid for a group of max 10). We happily agreed, but were concerned we would never receive the refund. Our concerns were completely unwarranted….they processed the refund the same day. The tour itself, even though the group was large, was excellent. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate, and we really enjoyed the whole tour.

it was a really nice tour . the guide was energetic , amusing , and explained the history of the place really well which we enjoyed as we were walking. the staff was very hospitable and professional, one of the guys that was handing us the audio kit gave us a list of recommendations and nice unknown spots in Rome he knew about ,which we really appreciated . would definitely recommend.

Brilliant guided tour of the Roman Forum and Colosseum. We were able to understand what we were looking at which made us appreciate the history so much more. Booking onto the tour meant that we also avoided waiting in lengthy ticket queues. Our guide Maximo was friendly and approachable; very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he was talking about - he was great :) The tour was 4-hours long, just the right length of time to take it all in and not struggle too much in the heat and crowds. Also got to spend a bit of time wandering on your own to look at things that you were particularly interested in. Good value for money and well organised tour from start to finish. So many tour operators to choose from but Rome Walkers/City Walkers were great and I couldn't fault anything. Thank you!

It was incredible. The guide was really experienced and nice. I learned a lot about the Ancient Rome. Don’t forget to wear your hat because Rome is very hot. Just an advice

We had a great experience with Fe, our tour guide. The tour was interesting and fun, even our teenage daughter perked up and was engaged. We recommend highly to get the most out of your visit to this unique place and avoid the long queues.

Our guide was amazing! Loved the tour, it was the perfect pace and perfect amount of detail as to be informed but not get bored.

It was an easy location to find and consideration was taken due to the hot weather. The man who conducted the tour was amazing, knowledgeable, organised and friendly. Would highly recommend for anyone.

The itinerary and the directions to the meeting point were fine. The Trip Advisor description states a max of 20 people per tour, and our group had 27 people. The guide kept counting to make sure we were all accounted for, hence I recall the 27 number. The guide had a thick accent and I only was able to comprehend roughly 1/4 of what was said in English. Had we had a smaller group, I would have been able to stand closer to the guide and watch her speak, allowing me to comprehend and understand more words. I would book a different tour.

Alessandria was an excellent guide. Extremely informative and passionate about the history of Rome. Had plenty of time to take photos and didn't feel rushed. A tourist from another party was I'll & Alessandria assisted them with help. A worthwhile trip plus even got Alessandria's mum's secret lasagne recipe.
