Wonderful, wonderful tour from start to finish
It was hard to see everything in Rome in one day, but our tour took us to all the major sites. Our guide Francesco was the best. His knowledge and ability to steer us away from the crowds were amazing. I would love to have had several days to spend with him.

Montecassino day tour thanks Paolo for a memorable day. Your knowledge and history of the area made our day
The scenery and history of this area are amazing and breathtaking our driver and guide Paolo was very informative and helpful. It was very important tour for us as my wife's father was at Casino during the 2nd world war and so it was a very emotional visit especially to the commonwealth cemetery.

    Tivoli Gardens private tour
Our driver Paolo (Italy Best Excursion) was a joy to talk to and provided a very nice ride to and from Tivoli. Our guide Alesia (Servizi Turistici) was very knowledgeable and made the tour unforgettable. I’m impressed with the overall service that Trip Advisor contracted with. We will never forget the gardens and fountains along with the restaurant we lunched at. It’s an excursion I would highly recommend!

A personalized tour with a very knowledgeable guide.
Our tour guide, Caramela (?) gave the 2 of us descriptions of each room before we reached them so we knew what to expect and then she told us more. Since it was just the 2 of us, we had opportunities to ask questions.

    A fantastic Excursion
Our guide, Francisco, was incredibly knowledgeable about the war in Italy. He made history come a;live during our trip. We went on a private tour that was a total immersion in history.

Not worth it. The tickets are less at the ticket counter and are better off on your own.
The tour guide was not where we were supposed to meet. The Vatican requires paper tickets to enter and the mobile confirmation was not accepted. We paid for tickets and the tour yet ended up having to buy tickets at the ticket counter to enter the Vatican. The tickets are less and you’re better off going on your own.

BAD "small group" Rome/Coluseum excursion from Royale Caribeean
These are things that would have been really helpful when I was reading reviews, preparing and deciding on a shore excursion on Royale Caribeean cruise. If you ask me, DO NOT pay more for the expensive "small group" excursions. My brother and i did the same Rome/Coluseum excursion but mine said small group. He paid $173 and I paid $350+. The description on mine said it went inside the Coluseum and that it included lunch at a "5 star restaurant". His did not so we assumed and expected something more for my extra $180. Nope, he did the exact SAME tour. There was absolutely NO difference in the fact that mine was a "small group". In fact, we kept running into him at every spot. Also, I know it's not important to all but for those that want and like to buy souvenirs because it's your first time in Rome, forget it. For the 10+ hour excursion we were given 15 mins right outside the Basilica and that was it. It would've been helpful if they mentioned there would be NO other opportunity to buy souvenirs. Our guide was HORRIBLE!! She ran through the whole tour like it was a sprint. We didn't even get to take pictures of most things because she was moving so fast. We got left behind a few times because we decided to that a minute to admire things like the Piata by Michaelangelo. The "5 star" restaurant food was awful and my brother ended up at the same restaurant. I hope my post is helpful.

Great time. Pick up from hotel in Rome and left the driving to Johnny. Paola was a great guide. Lunch was wonderful. Thank God for Johnny's air conditioned vehicle.

Memorable and fun experience for all ages.
We have 7 and 9 year old boys and cannot imagine doing the Coliseum with the kids any other way. It was fun, engaging for kids and adults and very educational. We went in July and it was VERY hot! Pack extra water if visiting during summer months. The guide taking lots of family pics that were sent to us after at no extra charge was a really nice added bonus. Highly recommend!

    Great day at Monte Cassino
We had a good tour of the Monte Cassino Abbey and the surrounding WWII battlefields. The guide spoke perfect English and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend it for history buffs.

    Cruise post covid
The standard of the ship has totally gone down. I travelled 5 years ago on same ship, I though with the reduced prices to get people back after covid id go again. I was so disappointed the food was not as good our breakfast was cold when we told staff all we got was "sorry Mam" not ill go get you a hot one. The plates were plastic terriable. We paid €165 extra for premium plus drinks all we got was sorry Mam not on this floor, ordered Hendrix Gin, they put cheep tonic from tap with it. So dissatisfied. We had to book excursions only through ship rip off some were good including lunch some same price did not include lunch. I felt so restricted on the ship. Entertainment was not as good as previously. In my honest opinion the ship has lost more than 1 star.
