Did a day trip from Rome to Positano and Sorrento with Emiliano. Left before 7 due to the weekend traffic expected into Sorrento (the traffic did not disappoint) and did a guided walk with Laura in Sorrento. The walk was excellent with Laura a gentle guide who grew up in Sorrento - so local knowledge was excellent and greeting townsfolk along the walk was standard. We enjoyed it and want to return for a longer visit. Most of the day in the car and the visit to Positano was spent with Emiliano. What a character! You can speak with him about everything and anything - our mutual passion for Ferrari , our interest in how Limoncello is made, our respective families and what the world is made of. - and of course how to fix it. Twelve hours together and a lot of that in a car can get to be the trip from hell but instead this was one where it flew by. Emiliano has so much experience, so much passion for what he does, so much care for humans and animals alike that it made the day fly by. His local knowledge of Positano, right down to a long friendship with the family of a superb restaurant, just made the day one of the best. He is solely responsible for our decision to return to Positano again for a visit. Sure, the place is beautiful. Any set of photos and other TripAdvisor reviews will tell you that. But the experience you have with someone who really exudes passion and can make you see and experience more than just the scenic beauty. That’s what makes it really a super experience and makes you want to come back. Grazie Laura. Grazie mille Emiliano. Happy to have met you. Hope to see again someday.

Had a great trip with a private driver to Pompeii and the Almafi coast. Tour guide at Pompeii was really informative and friendly. The coast was beautiful and the lunch had fantastic views.
