An excellent trip. Unbelievably interesting. The guide was top notch and thoroughly enjoyed our 75 minute visit! Her knowledge of the the excavation and her explanation made us really understand how this magnificent building looked like in Nero’s time as Emperor of Ancient Rome.

The tour was just right for us. Small group, the right pace, and a guide who spoke perfect English. The guide's narrative was informative and clear. Not too technical but detailed enough to allow one to understand the series of events in the history of the Domus Aurea. The VR portion of the tour was sublime.

This was a wonderful surprise. One of our group was educated in Rome and knew about this tour. I never had heard about this place but I now tell everyone going to Rome not to miss this tour. It is just yards from the Colosseum. Our guide was one of the working archeologists and her passion for the place was very evident. She went well over the scheduled time, but the time flew by. The virtual reality portion was extremely interesting and very informative. Anyone interested in Roman history should do this tour.

Great organisation. Was smooth to get inside and it was a lovely experience. Not very busy so we had plenty of space for pictures.

Getting tickets to Vatican museum was easy, and location was convenient for pickup. Good pricing compared to other private services.

Leonardo did a truly exceptional job touring us around the Vatican. His knowledge was extremely impressive, he was very gracious, and sped up our tour as my child was dealing with the extreme heat. Highly recommended.

Bought ʻskip the lineʻ tickets (which means you just have a ticket you bought online before arriving, and you donʻt have to stand in the uber long line with people who never pre purchased their tickets). We bought from Get Your Guide and got instructions, although he told us to arrive AT the entrance time (1:00pm), but when we got there we were supposed to have arrived at 12:40pm, so we had to go to the back of the ʻskip the lineʻ line. No problem, set us back 15 mins. Bring passport. Some didnʻt have passport but they let them in with DL. SO MANY tourists itʻs a sea of people, but the staff did well managing. The tix allowed us entry into Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel, and we did not want to wait in the hours long xray scanner line to get into St. Peterʻs Basilica, so we passed on that. The Museums were just insanely rich in history, obviously, and the Sistine Chapel was amazing to view.

Used this bus tour to familiarise ourselves with Rome on our first day there.The commentary was very useful and gave us lots of information.It was the green bus we used as I think it was more frequent.

We had booked these tickets in advance to skip the line, but were called on the day itself by the Italian office that they had not been able to secure these tickets . According to them, the Vatican had given out less of these on-line tickets. Thus we had to stand in line still, to be able to get into this museum. Hence, not happy at all with this ticket offer: it is not reliable The art collection was impressive, the mass of the crowd shuffling through the hallways was unpleasant.

The tour was thorough and enjoyable despite the lines. Our guide Leonardo was fantastic, was knowledgeable and kept things moving while making sure we were able to appreciate the beauty.

It has been over five years since I did this tour and I thought it would be fun to visit in the spring instead of the early fall as in the past. The cost was 12€ more but to be expected after all these years. I had to book the Italian tour but that was okay. Maria did an excellent job during the gardens tour and she even guided us partially in the museums; way more thorough than my previous visit. BUT...I did not read the fine print as the tour now only includes the gardens and the museums. In the past, you exited via the Sistine Chapel to the Basilica. No longer the case. I was so looking forward to visiting St Peter's and when I realised this was not available as before, I exited the museums as I was to tired and disappointed to finish the tour on my own. And I was certainly not interested in queuing in the piazza to gain entry to the Basilica. Six stars for Maria's efforts and minus two stars for eliminating entrance to St Peter's as in the past. Most disappointing.

this tour was completely overpriced but all of the tours in Rome of the Vatican are the same. This is purely for queue skipping and I felt we would have been better with an audio tour. Did not include a tour of the Basilica, tour guide just left us outside it and went off, he gave no information on it and gave me the wrong info on the tomb of John Paul !!

I got my tickets for 16 Euros each from Tiqets. They were emailed to me by OnceUponATimeRomeTours and were labeled Coop Culture. I believe I took this tour or one substantially similar and recommend it. It is close to the Coliseum, but a little tough to find in the side of a hill. It's all underground so it can be colder. My wife and teen aren't into history but liked it. The VR is interesting and a good break. It is a well preserved site. I think over time this tour will get better and better. It is a large site. It was added to at one point by a different emperor. Our tour guide was an archeologist and very knowledgeable. A good start for us on our first night in Roma. This is the only tour that ever changed the time on me moving me up earlier in the afternoon.

Fast entry as promised. The guide was entertaining and had good knowledge of the artifacts and the art. Everything went as promised.
