      So pretty
This was a wonderful tour but I’d rather have had more time at Villa D’Este. The food was delicious. Our guide was wonderful.

      Tivoli at its best
A wonderful way to hit the highlights! Using a guide made the most of the trip. No fear of getting lost or turned around. Make sure you stop at Sibilla for a spectacular meal with a fantastic view.

      A worthwhile tour
Our guide was clear and spoke slowly, and quite knowledgeable. The lunch was mediocre. Would have liked more time at Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este, with less time at Tivoli.

A great trip outside of Rome
Overall, I thought the experience was extremely good. Both locations were very interesting and entertaining, and in my personal view could be viewed much longer than the tour would allow but if you’re only there for seven hours you can do so much the really only negative part about it is it seem to be a little Confusing at the start the pick up location is side of a wall and the person doing the intake. Was only there about 10 minutes before we were supposed to leave and didn’t continue on with us as we met the tour guide on site at the first location so I was a little confusing at firstat least for me. But the next time they do a trip it might be different. Overall I enjoyed the experience, and I would definitely like to go again.

      Wonderful experience!
We really enjoyed the 2 Villa's and the perspective of our guide who was local to the area. My friend has some mobility issues and they were very accommodating. Hadrien's Villa was very well preserved, considering most of the marble was taken and used to build the Villa d'Este which is magnificent.

      Tivoli Tour
It was a lovely day. Learning about the sites was very interesting. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared good information. I didn’t know you could purchase this tour without lunch, that would have been a better option. The food and wine at the selected restaurant was terrible! It was the first time in Italy (after being here 2 months) that the wine served was awful! If you have an extra day in your Rome schedule I would recommend doing this trip.

      Worth the time and money.
Superb info from guide stepping back into history. Both villas, gardens and lunch were top notch. And comfortable bus ride to/from.⁰

      Amazing Tivoli
Amazing! The weather was perfect! There were no crowds! Best time of year to visit. Joseph was knowledgeable local guide! Would have liked to have known there would be a lot of walking on gravel/dirt at Hadrians Villa - I wouldn’t have worn sandals. Make sure you do the included lunch! Excellent food and free wine! The fountains and paintings at Villa D’este were mind blowing. The fact there is no pumps involved for the fountains to work was amazing! There was a lot of stairs and you need to be in decent shape to fully appreciate the fountains. We were also lucky enough to have the correct water pressure to allow the organ to play the renaissance music. Reasonably priced and worth it!!

      Tivoli gardens and villas
Interesting tour, gardens were amazing and the fountains incredible. Wish we hadn’t signed up for lunch as it would have given us time to look around Tivoli. Also, it was very warm and would have been a good idea to remind guests to bring water. It is not stated in things provided but a reminder would have been good in the text that they send out.

      Terrible disappointment at Villa Adriana
We were very disappointed with the trip. In fact we were angry that it was so bad. The gardens at the Villa D’Este were gorgeous but aside from that we found the experience far below our expectations. At the Villa Adriana we were given no overview of Hadrian’s life, his travels ( which strongly influenced the creation of his villa), his achievements as emperor. The lunch was really terrible. Cold pasta with no sauce, Nothing had any flavour. Terrible salad. I don’t think anyone at our table found it acceptable. Even the wine was awful. We would have done much better on our own for the whole day. I would be very cautious about ever signing up for another such tour run by Trip Advisor.

Interesting but could be more informative
Tivoli is a lovely town & Hadrian's villa & Villa D'este were very interesting. The headsets were terrible. Not sure if guide needed more knowledge or better command of English but she tried her best.

      Tivoli; so glad we went!
This was an amazing day trip from Rome. The history and beauty of it all was so much more than I anticipated. The photo opportunities were vast and so varied. Surprises galore in the gardens.

A must see if you're in Rome
A very beautiful place, the amount of vegetation is so cheerful to the heart, and it can't be described. Tour guide Marsha was wonderful who made the experience so easy and worry free.

The tri to Tivoli was very disappointing. Sites we saw was not what I expected from the picture they advertise. Lots of walking to see pieces of a buildings that are not vet interesting. Tour guide kept rushing and walking so fast hard to keep up. And if that was not enough the lunch was terrible. For the money I paid it was definitely not worth it

Amazing sites - food could be better
Our guide, Giuseppe, was excellent: very knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining and patient. The sites were both wonderful. The only downside was the trattoria food, which really wasn’t up to the same standard as the rest of the tour.
