Knowledgeable driver/guide. Guide shared historical facts, not rushed. Enjoyable dinner included, Gelato stop after dinner. Stops were as listed. Tips: You see a lot, write down names/places you want to remember or after taking a picture, identify it on your phone. Wear good supportive, comfortable shoes. Take change for Trevi Fountain.

It was a really interesting visit. An extremely prepared and competent guide as in all the countries in which we have used the Fun Tour Rome which is a worldwide organization. Thank you it was very pleasant.

We decided to go Early in the morning in order to avoid the crazy lines (on last days of december it's super crowded). Well, it was the best choice: colosseum was almost empty and we had a small group so it was like a semi-private experience. The guide was informative, yet funny. Really recommend this tour!

We booked this tour so we would have a small group with english speaking guide. This tour was awesome and our guide was great. BUT- at the end of this tour we booked another tour through them for the Vatican. We told them we could do the 27th (December) but thay we HAD to be done with that tour in time to take the one and only tour we had booked 5 months prior when we booked our trip. We had looked forward to going to the Catacombs and had booked a small group, underground tour for 2:30 on Dec. 27th. Santos took us to get money, we bought him a coffee and he promised we would be done with our 9:00 AM Vatican tour with no problem. Well when he booked, we were not aware that he booked us through a different company. We arrived at 8:45 AM only to be told our tour wouldn't start until 10:30. To be back at 10:15. We still figured we would be ok. We came back and they had sent our tour to another tour company!! We didn't arrive at the Vatican until after 11:00. We paid $55.00 each to get a small group English speaking tour. When we arrived at the Vatican, we were placed in the same line those that were getting in for free were in. Literally thousands of visitors. By the time we got into the tour, it was 11:30. With a very thick Italian speaking guide. We couldn't understand a thing she said, we sent so quick and it was so crowded. We lost my husband and they didn't care. I left the group to find him. I found him after 45 mins. We went so fast through to try to get to our other tour we saw NOTHING!! We were too late to get from the Vatican to our other tour by 2:00. So that day not only did we waste $110.00 on the Vatican tour, we lost our $138.00 for the Catacombs tour. I would not recomend this tour group for these reasons.

We booked our tour Colosseum Roman Forum and Palatine Hill: our guide spoke english perfectly, knew a lot of details and was really funny. We spent about 3 hours on the tour (there is a lot of walking involved!) and it was by far the best tour we did in Italy. The office is easy to find and the staff was very nice and helpful.Thank you guys!

Above the Metro station by th he Colosseum, Fun Tours runs a number of tours, the best is cut the line guided tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. The guides are knowledgeable and animated. Makes the visit more worthwhile to go with a guide.

Our guide brought the place to life with her stories and was very sweet, always willing to answer any questions the group had. Worked out perfectly and was just what I was looking for, no waiting in lines and well worth the extra expense!

Everything was perfect: knowledgeable and funny guide, an easy to find meeting point and friendly staff! My partner and I had the best time! definitely recommend these guys

Paul was an amazing tour guide! He met us promtly at our scheduled time. Very personable and his love of history was contagious. He not only showed us the expected Rome highlights but took extended time to show and tell us about sights that we would have missed on our own. We had him choose our menu items for lunch and it was delicious and a great way to sample several Italian dishes. He is from London, so there was no language barrier.

I will admit that we were not 20 minutes before the tour left but the tour had not left and we asked to join the group. Not only did they say no, they made us pay an additional $50 and then treated me like I was an idiot. I asked what the address was for the location for the following day of the Vatican tour. The girl says "L6" is the address. When I asked for something different than only "L6", she said "Don't you have a phone? Google? The Internet?". Then they proceeded to go outside and treat me like I could not understand English. It was a very humiliating experience and one that I would not recommend. It was two young girls who were attending to the tour that day. We had spoken to a young man the day before and he seemed to be more professional. The two girls were the most demeaning people I have had to deal with in a long time. In customer service, it is important that you give SERVICE! You do not EVER treat a client like they are not valued. Maybe this review will not impact your business but you should understand (you may be too young) that for every person you make angry, they tell 10 people. For every one person you please, they only tell one or two about the experience. Maybe you should do the math on the negative impact that your rude behavior toward paying clients.

Total scam. Don’t book with this company . They will tell you that you are late and need to pay again cause the tour is fully booked and they did wait for you. And all other days are full as well. Don’t pay in advance.

We booked and paid in advance for 4 adults for a tour starting at 08.45hrs, we arrived at 08.17hrs, two of us waited in the long queue to register our arrival, by the time we got to the front of the queue we were told that we were too late to participate and would have to pay again to go on the next tour, we complained about having to pay again, surely we could join the next tour without paying, they would have none of it, we had to pay again! we reluctanly paid after travelling for two hours to get there. On our return to the UK I wrote to complain and requested a refund, Fun Tours responded stating that we were late and would not reimburse us. After reading other very recent reviews on Trip Advisor from others that exactly the same had happened to them, (having to pay twice) I decided to report them to the UK European Consumer Centre who are now investigating my complaint. Please be aware they have told others that they were late and made them pay again, why should anyone have to pay twice. Very interesting tour, thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great tour in English by Giulio in the coliseo, knowledgeable also about Roma history not only coliseo. Speaks English, Italian and French 👌

We booked and paid £77 for a tour with Get Your Guide who partnered with Fun Tours, unfortunately we never got our tour due to being late on arrival, however, we accept our lateness but the directions, description of location and lack of signage did not help. On arrival we were met with a surly automatic response ....it’s ur own fault, nothing we can do and you need to go back to get your guide. So I would like to thank Fun Tours for the first impression we received of Roma! Perhaps as I work in the service tourist industry in Scotland I know we would do our best to remedy unfortunate situations even if we think it’s not our fault......yip offering a different tour after u’ve been nippy isn’t helpful neither is informing that you can reschedule our tour for a mere further 50euro! Very poor show! I have attached pics so you can see that the Fun Tours isn’t actually located behind the metro .. see if you can find it.....
