My wife and I did the wine and cheese tasting as a part of our honeymoon while we were in Rome and it was great! Being avid wine connoisseurs, we were looking forward to the different styles of wine and cheese pairings along with the understanding of wine regions in Italy, and this tasting did not let us down! I would recommend VinoRoma to any friends for family visiting in the future. If your an advanced wine lover or just getting started, they will treat you right!

We booked a private vineyard tour with Maurizio, a partner of VinoRoma. I made contact with Maurizio as I spotted on the website they offered private tours. This was a special birthday present while we were in Rome. We didn’t have time for a full day but Maurizio suggested a morning excursion to one vineyard. We had arrived late the night before so a relaxing start sounded a very good plan. We were taken to an idyllic low intervention vineyard around 30 minutes or so from the city centre. We were welcomed by Maria, the co-owner of the vineyard. We stood and gazed at the view and Maria told us about the history of the vines and the changes they had made to work biodynamically without pesticides. We walked around the vineyard a little and were shown the Roman tunnels now used for the wine. We are not in any way wine experts, just interested and this was fascinating to appreciate the history and the vision of this vineyard. We sat at a table with a beautiful view and Maria brought out cheese, salami and her last bottle of her homemade olive oil, together with bread and snacks. I have included some pictures. I have to say thank you so much to Maurizio who made this all possible. It was a wonderful start to our holiday. Thank you to Maria for her hospitality and also to the driver that made it possible for Maurizio to chat to us without having to pay attention to the road! Absolutely 5 star rating! We were only sorry not to have time for a VinoRoma tasting at the studio. Thanks Maurizio for the restaurant recommendation we had a delicious meal too!

The entire experience was truly great, Maurizio is fantastic and the wines were truly great. Every wine was good and we got alot of new favourites.

We had a great walking food tour with Maurizio! We sampled delicious food and drink on our tour. Maurizio did a nice job customizing the tour to the group's interests. He was extremely knowledgeable of the food, beer, and especially the wine.

Our family had a food tour with Fernanda on our second night in Rome, of a 12 day trip. It ended up being a highlight of our entire experience in Italy. Fernanda was so great with our kids, brought us to many wonderful places for food and shared countless tips that we leveraged throughout our trip. We had so much fun and will always organize a food tour in any place we visit moving forward. I highly recommend it!

Had a great time!!! We went for the informal tasting on a Thursday evening. Beautiful tasting room, lovely informal relaxed atmosphere. Great wines and hugely knowledgeable staff. Wish we could have stayed longer but had a dinner reservation....you must go!!!

My partner and I had a wonderful time doing the My Lazio wine tasting at VinoRoma! We were guided by Frank across the Lazio region through expertly selected low-intervention wines. We loved learning about the wine makers and the process of wine making. We had never done a wine tasting before, but Frank ensured we felt comfortable to share our thoughts and observations. We left the tasting with a newfound interest and appreciation for wine. I HIGHLY recommend this experience for anyone who finds themselves in Rome. This is sure to be a highlight of our time in Italy!

What a fantastic wine tasting experience! A Thursday evening, open wine tasting was such a unique opportunity to taste excellent wines from around Italy that I would otherwise have never learned about. All wines are natural ferment, which I usually avoid. But these were the best I ever had. And the amount of wine knowledge provided was amazing. I also love the long table setting. The conversation with other guests was something I cherished on top of the great wine education. So, thank you very much. I will visit again when I am back in Rome

Started from the bottom & now I am a 100% natural wine convert - all thanks to VinoRoma Studio! I took their Level 1 wine course & it was a great combination of education and good ole fashioned wine drinking! Enjoyed so much that I have continued my studies to the Level 2 course. The wine professors Maurizio & Frank are extremely helpful & passionate about natural wine. Can highly recommend visiting their open cantina on Thursday (4-8pm) to try a glass or two or three in an informal/ social environment.

Book the tour! This is our second time with VinoRoma and our walking food tours have been wonderful experiences. Get off the beaten path and take a deeper dive into a special neighborhood. Try amazing food and have a great afternoon with the best guide. I highly recommend it.

Maurizio did an excellent job. A nice variety of wines that were well explained. There were several other gouups there which provided variety to the discussion and a range of interesting questions.

We went for the Thursday "CantinAperta". They had a wine list with 6 wines, all great. You can taste them individually or make a full tasting of all 6. Total price was about 35E for all 6, and the pours were generous. The hosts have good tastes in interesting wines.

For someone with little to no experience in wines prior to the tasting, I had a great experience at VinoRoma, and plan to return at a later time. The host is inviting, knowledgeable, and does a great job explaining the wines and their backgrounds, as well as fostering discussion. Overall, the atmosphere felt welcoming and pleasant even for a beginner. There was a nicely varied selection of wines from differing regions in Italy. I'm very happy I got to try such a broad range of wines, as no two wines felt the same, each was it's own experience. The cellar itself is located in a charming neighbourhood close to the colosseum. A short walk from the metro.

One of the top highlights of our break in Rome. We tasted 3 white wines and 3 reds and learned so much, from how to taste the wine properly through sight, smell and taste to understanding about the wine making process and the different wine making regions of Italy. Maurizio was brilliant, extremely knowledgeable, answered all our questions and offered hints and tips for us to consider when buying wine. A fantastic experience that I would highly recommend.
