Took her time to explain the history of the romans and the use of the each building and why they’re still standing. The tickets get you to go straight into each section with no queuing. Really insightful tour. It’s approx 3 hours long but you can go stay and explore yourself after the tour if wanted. Cannot remember our tour guides name (sorry) but we were in the 10am English tour on 4th September. She was brilliant. Answered any questions we had. Didn’t skip on details.Written September 4, 2024

Travelled all the way from Australia to do the activity, unfortunately we were delayed in getting to the appointment due to Rome's public transport letting us down. We notified the tour company that we were running late, however got no reply. When we got to meeting point we were late and were advised that we had missed the time slot so couldn't access the tour. Contacted Get your guide who advised enjoy rome are refusing to refund any of the costs. There customer service is terrible and they don't seem to care. Marcius probably gave me the best tour I’ve ever had. He is so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and funny at times that it is hard not to listen to him and dream about the Roman Period. It was like being back in time, with more than just Wikipedia information but with his own insights and thoughts.
He had 2 booklets with him, where he showed it pictures of back then and now.

We (2 pax) booked our tour 3 months in advance. 24 hours before the tour started, the tour was cancelled via WhatsApp. Instead, we only received an entrance ticket for the Colosseum/Roman Forum/Palatine and a link to an audio guide, which didn't work. When we asked, we were "generously" refunded €25 per person, so we were left with the costs. All in all, a unique experience!

We booked this private tour months in advance and have been to the Colloseum before but never the floor. We got no communication about the last minute cancellation and when we showed we were told we were put into a tour group instead that didn’t go to the floor. The guide on the group had no knowledge of the colloseum or the history of Rome and instead talked about herself and other places. She didn’t even take us to the site of the Colossus or even mention it the entire tour. We did a lot of standing in the sun while she babbled on. It was really terrible and she wasn’t qualified to be a guide at all. I tried not to let it ruin my day but after being dragged through this nonsense we were pretty tired. Now I see they are trying to give the same private tour for a lot more. What an awful operation. Make sure you contact your credit card company for a full refund as they are not willing to provide the contracted service and perform a subpar switch at the last minute and they think they will decide how much partial refund to give. Really funny! I hope this review saves someone the horrible experience we had. Avoid!

We are very Happy We found Marcius on Instagram few days before we arrived in Rome.
It was a great experience Having him as guide to Vatican First.
A day before We went to coloseum by ourselves But after We met Marcius We bought again tickets to coloseum to go with him.
We highly recommend Marcius as your guide, 3 hours flys listening him.

Great tour of ancien Rome by Enjoy Rome starting by forum, then palatine hill and.finally the coliseum. Our guide, Rosalia, had a deep knowledge, historical and not only about monuments. She also has a book to show how was booking the monuments and locations at the time.of antique rome. Best guide for me.so car !

Our tour guide Marcius was amazing! Passionate and enthusiastic character and has a great knowledge about the Roman Colosseum and the roman forums. By far the best tour I have done throughout all my travels. Highly recommend as this is definitely the tour which gives you more insight to the history and culture of Rome.

It has been an unforgettable experience. Our guide Maribel with every detail has made us enter a magical imperial Rome, that without her help with the vestiges that remain you would need a lot of imagination to see anything. We highly recommend it.

Marcius is the best guide you could ever wish for ! He is kind, passionate, pedagogical, knowledgeable. He makes you both enjoy and learn Ancient Rome. My boyfriend and I came without any appreciation but we were really amazed by that tour. Thank you again Marcius❤️

Great and interesting tour. Guide Laura was phenomenal, told us lots of interesting stories and facts!!! For every recommendation. The tour with guide is much better then without. Basically must see when in Rome.
