An experience to get to know the true essence of Rome's underground We will visit: The Virgin aqueduct As many as 11 aqueducts reached Rome, an enormous quantity that was equaled only in the modern era. We will take you to the basement of a shopping center to visit the ancient aqueduct and then we will get to see where the water comes out, in the famous Trevi fountain. The Stadium of Domitian Piazza Navona is one of the obligatory destinations for those coming to Rome, but many do not know that the shape of the square is the shape of a Roman stadium, the Stadio di Domiziano. The first masonry stadium in Rome (1st century AD) for athletics and boxing competitions. We will then go down to the basement to discover its beauties. The Capuchin Crypt A cemetery literally built from bones! The chambers are decorated with the remains of around 4,000 friars. The message at the end of the crypt reads: "What we were, you are now. What we are now, you will be."

A Different & Fascinating Side Of Rome
This is a fantastic experience! I had no idea what to expect with this tour. I was traveling with my 81 year old mother and 25 year old son and it was my son who found this and really wanted to go. I’m so glad we did. The park we were led through to get to the underground is beautiful and very different from the other parts of Rome I had seen (I’ve attached photos). And the caves and catacombs themselves were fascinating. Our tour guide Ricardo was so knowledgeable and entertaining. My only caution is that if you have bad knees, claustrophobia or the like beg out of the catacomb section of the experience (although that would be a shame because that part was amazing!!) I definitely recommend this to anyone interested in Roman history!

    A Roman Must Do!
Our tour guide, Riccardo, met us at the metro station; he was full of beautiful facts and lessons and gave amazing suggestions for things to do after the tour!

    Meh
Although the guide was informative and enthusiastic, the experience was less than satisfactory. It all looks the same and you have to walk 45 minutes to get to the underground.
