Dare I say we enjoyed this tour on our second day in Rome even more than our trip to the Vatican?! The weather on the morning of our tour was gray, cool, and rainy but it could not dampen our enjoyment of this amazing tour. Roberto was an amazing guide, full of insight and information. His reverence and love for the subject matter was evident. This was more of an experience of time travel through fascinating moments of history than a tour. Roberto designed this tour so beautifully as it weaves a story through the incredible churches that are visited. I don't want to give away too many details, I want you to discover the surprises for yourself! A must for Catholics and anyone interested in Church history. A lot of ground is covered so be prepared for much walking and some stairs. And the best way to end our afternoon was a stop for lunch at an AMAZING, authentic, local cafe nearby that Roberto recommended. My family agrees that this was our favorite day in Rome.

This tour company does not charge enough for their tour. I hoped to have someone knowledgeable who could help guide me through Rome’s most famous churches, and they were exactly what was needed. This was so much more valuable than just entering churches by myself and wandering blindly. Having a tour guide really helps you to understand and appreciate the history and relics and symbolism of the places you are visiting.

Roberto was a wonderful tour guide and this was one of our very favorite tours in Rome! My husband and I were looking for a unique tour experience to learn more about the history of Rome and the role of the church. We also love walking the streets of Rome and taking in all it has to offer. This was the perfect combination! Roberto provided us with tons of information throughout the tour. We visited several churches that we may have completely bypassed if not for this tour! Roberto is very knowledgeable and passionate about Rome’s history which is obvious and was very much appreciated. My husband and I were amazed at all of the treasures and historical significance of each church. Roberto even took us into a stunning private chapel after getting permission from one of the nuns in charge. The day of our tour was very hot and humid and reached over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Roberto did not cut corners in any way and gave us the full experience. At the end of the tour, he also suggested a local restaurant for us to have lunch which we loved! It was the perfect ending to a fantastic morning tour. Thank you Roberto. We wish you much success and we loved the tour! We will book with your company again when we are back in Rome!

I booked this mainly as my brother is a massive history enthusiast but I think I enjoyed it as much as he did! Roberto was fantastic, a vastly knowledgable and friendly tour guide who was wonderful at crafting a narrative to bring the histories to life. The small tour group meant there was lots of time for questions and the tour itself was very well paced, giving us time to learn about each location without feeling we were being rushed around.

The tour was excellent, taking in many beautiful locations of historical, local, and religious significance.
The guide's love of the subject and the city of Rome was apparent. He gave information that was interesting without being overwhelming, and he had a wry sense of humour I appreciated.

Roberto was a superb guide - brilliantly informed and passionate. The low price of the tour made us suspicious but it turns out he undercharges, given how much value we got from our time with him. We saw things we’d never have known were there, and got access to a wonderful chapel we would not have known how to access. This was a marvellous insight into the early church and also the living church today - a tour for believers but also amateur historians and eager tourists like ourselves.

My husband and I took this tour with another couple, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. Roberto was our tour guide, very knowledgeable, very respectful and thorough in his descriptions. He answered all our questions. He is a bit soft-spoken, but I think that was appropriate given the setting being churches. We viewed 6 churches ( some big and some tiny) on our tour and walked farther than I thought we would. The tour took us from about 9 AM to 1230, and Roberto was willing to walk us to a place for lunch which was perfect after our extensive tour.

Very knowledgeable about the history and significance of the churches visited. It is a smaller group tour so we were fortunate it was private one for just our family.
It showed a lot of how the history of how our faith began and was very amazing to see some artifacts from the time of Christ. If you are in Rome this is a must do tour.

BOOK THIS TOUR!! I cannot recommend this tour enough. Carefully crafted to visit the most important Churches in Rome, combined with one of the most knowledgeable, kind and considerate guides I have met. The tour is everything I was looking for as not only a Catholic but also a lover of history and someone short on time in Rome! I will absolutely be back and will be recommending to anyone visiting Rome! I am excited to explore other tours that I’m the company offers
