About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Kristine W0 contributionsFantastic decision! Will use againBrandon was fabulous! Incredibly knowledgeable and very fun to tour with. His passion for the topics was contagious! I’m so glad we set this up, we were able to skip lines and enjoy a stress free & information packed morning.Written March 17, 2025
- KCS2820 contributionsVery disappointing endingGuide was terrific but the ending was horrible. Not being able to access the shortcut into St Peter’s was the reason. I have difficulty walking long distances and specifically chose this trip to shorten the walking. There were certainly others in our small group who were upset by the change. I know that is out of your control but you could offer a refund to those of us who felt shortchanged.Written March 16, 2025
- christinewN6309WU0 contributionsGuide Makes a Difference! My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Claudia, was soooo knowledgeable about basically everything Rome. It was very helpful to understand the stories behind the ruins so you understood what you were looking at. I think you miss a lot without a guide. And of course the colosseum is just spectacular. Again, Claudia shared so many stories with us about the construction, the events at the Colosseum, how the underground worked with the lifts and pulleys and gladiators of course! The time flew by. I think we could have listened to Claudia’s for hours more!Written March 15, 2025
- Snowfolly0 contributionsFavorite tour in RomeThomas Robinson made a rainy chilly evening a delight. Tom's knowledge of Rome is immense, coupled with his knowledge of America, made the evening very enjoyable. We laughed a lot.Written March 15, 2025
- Curious398968355110 contributionsExpert tour guide! This tour is not to be missed during this Jubilee year in Rome!Excellent! Ms D’Andrea was personable, knowledgeable & reverent throughout all aspects of the tour. This was by far my favorite tour in Rome and I would do it again if available. Highly recommended !Written March 14, 2025
- marypalisin0 contributions10 out of 10 private Pompeii tourMonica was a fantastic guide! This was our favorite experience while in Italy. Monica took time to share her knowledge of every question my husband asked (and he asked alot!) She also made several recommendations of documentaries for my husband to learn more. We initially asked for 1030am start but Monica suggested earlier and it made a huge difference as we were the only ones around for the first 1.5 hrs!Written March 13, 2025
- D9887ECsa0 contributionsGreat tour with a disappointing endThe tour we bought was called “Early Morning Vatican Tour with Sistine Chapel & St.Peter's Basilica”. Ricardo was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide. Felt like we rushed through the Vatican Museums, but that was only because there is so much to absorb. Never short of information, Ricardo made the tour really enjoyable. Until…. We were advised the day before the tour, that the connection between the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s had been closed. Instead we were taken round the outside to St Peter’s entrance. Here we were left on our own to get into St Peter’s, which took over an hour. For the price we paid for the tour we would have expected access to the pre-reserved entrance. Standing waiting in the sun for so long turned an otherwise excellent tour into a disappointment at the end.Written March 10, 2025
- Ellen E0 contributionsLoved this tour, very informative!Enrica was a fabulous tour guide. She was very personable, funny and extremely knowledgeable. The small group tour size was perfect for us and we would recommend a small group in such a large place. Enrica’s passion for her city was wonderful and we enjoyed her genuine personality and ability to share the history. We highly recommend this tour!!Written March 10, 2025
- marypalisin0 contributions10/10 tourGuia Grandi was an incredible guide. We opted for the private tour and it was perfect. Guide is an art history major and gave us so many details. She was able to answer every question and was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about providing answers. 10 out 10 recommendation!Written March 6, 2025
- F7796UNsusant0 contributionsHighly recommended tour. Our tour guide, Enrica, was excellent, knowledgeable, and gave us many insider art history bits of gossip about the artists and their masterpieces. She gave us a brief introduction and overview with photos of specific panels from the Sistine Chapel which is very helpful and necessary due to the height of the ceiling and the prohibition on talking while in the Chapel. The place is vast and it was great to have a wonderful and interesting guide to help us understand the history and context of what we had time to see in three hours.Written March 3, 2025
- dtD4829NC0 contributionsAmazing guide for the ColosseumThomas was an incredible guide. He has an amazing wealth of knowledge of the history of Rome. Great sense of humour. Be warned you need comfortable shoes and plenty of waterWritten March 1, 2025
- dtD4829NC0 contributionsExcellent GuideMaria Letisha is an excellent guide. She has a wealth of knowledge about the Vatican and the art. She ensured everyone was together as the Vatican can be very overwhelming with groups of people.Written March 1, 2025
- davidwS4832ZY0 contributionsWonderful Tour and GuideWe had an outstanding small group tour of St. John Lateran and Santa Maria Maggiore, led by Aurelia. Aurelia gave a wonderful tour and was extremely well-informed about the both the churches and the history of early Christianity. We could not have had a better experience, and the tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome.Written March 1, 2025
- F7796UNsusant0 contributionsPrivate tour was good not great as expected to learn much more. Our tour was good and would rate three stars just for the three sites we gained access to. Francisco was a very nice and friendly person and clearly knowledgeable about these ancient sties, their history and surroundings. When we asked questions he provided details and context but was not spontaneously verbose providing a running commentary as other tour guides we have had. I don’t want to say anything negative exactly, but we spend a few hours on this tour and from our experience with other tours we did not learn as much expected. I chose Through Eternity Tour based on the recommendation of a YouTube personality that I trust due to the extremely high quality of his channel. The quality of this particular tour I would rate good overall.Written March 1, 2025
- jenniferdW4592OI0 contributionsColosseum Roman forum tourI’ve taken a lot of tours with different tour groups and have enjoyed your tour guides and the experiences with your tour guides the most. Thomas gave us a thorough tour of the Colosseum and surrounding area. We really felt we had a good glimpse back in time and were in awe of the entire experience. Highly recommend. A very enjoyable day with Thomas.Written February 27, 2025

The tour was supposed to show us at least 5 Caravaggio paintings at multiple sites. We were not told that one site was no longer available for us to go to prior to the tour. At another site we could only stay for a few minutes as it was closing so we didn’t see all the paintings. I am disappointed that the tour guide didn’t do her homework with regard to organising the time better. She did refund us money, however, this does not make up for the fact that I will never have the opportunity to see these paintings again.

We thank you for your candid feedback of this experience. We're unsure if you booked directly with us, or through a third party platform but each should (as our website does) have the notification that one of the sites, Santa Maria del Popolo, has been closed to guided tours for some time due to preparations for the 2025 Giubileo so we are sorry if that was not made clear at the time of your booking. So we cover Gallery Pamphili, Sant'Agostino and San Luigi in Francesi. The tour has been carefully designed to correspond with opening and closings of sites: we are uncertain if the tour had unpredictably gone longer than the specified 3 hours. In Rome, and Italy in general, it can happen that a site (especially churches) might suddenly close early (or in rare cases not open at all!) which we don't have any control over but again, we are truly sorry for any disappointment caused to you and greatly appreciate you letting us know your thoughts which is very helpful to us in improving our future services.
