Our Vatican VIP Experience with ALBERTO was, in a word AMAZING. Alberto's knowledge of art and history, his passion for his Faith and his home City and his vast experience as a professor and guide was evident from the first moment. His insights into the time period, the artists, the painting styles, the political temperament of the Popes and the times and his overall passion for the subject matter made our 5+ hours with him absolutely fly by! If I could give 10 stars out of 5 it wouldn't be enough. He was informative, funny, insightful, charismatic and above all, genuinely kind. We ALL loved him, learned so much from him and truly appreciate the treasure he is to anyone lucky enough to have him as a guide, teacher and tutor. Thank you, Alberto!! You were MAGNIFICO!! Absolutely incredible tour extremely informative. Gracelyn was outstanding. Strongly recommend this small group option as we waited in no lines and found secret bathrooms. Learned a ton in 3 1/2 hours.

Our guide, Maria Leticia, was well organized, informative and set a good pace. Everyone has to queue in the security check line outside, it was really nice to do it in the morning first thing out of the sun/heat. After that, we skipped the other lines for regular tickets. If you want to read all the signs about each piece of art, it was too quick. If you like narrative and insight about things without reading yourself, it is great. Small group is the way to go.

Brandon is an amazing guide! So knowledgeable, responded to all our questions, easy to understand, and a really nice guy! We loved seeing some of the out-of-the-way sights and hearing the stories that go with them. We have some great memories! Thank you, Brandon!!

The site was amazing and our guide did a great job. Her descriptions helped us understand the history of what we were seeing. She was so helpful when my companion had difficulty with the tour and found her an elevator and places to sit down.

Letizia was a terrific guide. I was able to book last minute in Aug ‘24 for the early morning small group tour of the Vatican museums, and she kept us going when our energy was flagging! There was so much to see it could easily be overwhelming, but Letizia made sure we knew enough to give us context for what we were seeing and what was to come without bowling us over or boring us. She also took care to make sure were as comfortable as possible, pointing out facilities and positioning us in shade wherever possible. As someone who knows nothing about art, or the church I was thoroughly entertained and educated. Letizia would also be a great guide for someone with deeper knowledge as she is an art historian. What a great way to start off the day!

This was definitely the best thing we did in Rome! Our guide, Thomas, was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. He did a perfect job of blending both the culture of the city and the history, and really made us feel immersed in Rome. He was passionate and insightful, and was able to go in depth with answers to every single question we could possibly have. It's a fantastic private tour, really spending the most time to see exactly what we wanted to and were most interested in.

Just an amazing tour of the beginning of western civilization! Thomas did a great job explaining all the ruins and what life was like in the days when Rome was thriving. He is passionate about his job and it shows!

I had an amazing time on this tour with Thomas as a guide. He had so much knowledge and point it out the artworks that were worth seeing and checking it out. The best part was that he was SO FUNNY! It was so entertaining to see him explaining about the history of the artwork and the Basilica/Sistine chapel, everything was explained in a way that was easy to digest and understand, i really LOVED the tour with Thomas, i actually did another tour with TE and was secretly hoping my guide was Thomas again.
