Walking back to Rome History at night with Fabio

Our trip was originally planned at 7 pm but then changed to 1045 pm which Infact was the great upgrade. Visiting Rome at night was the timeless experience on golf cart, we almost covered all the Rome attractions. Our guide Fabio was extremely polite and interactive person, from calling us to rebook to the entire journey he was fabulous and extremely knowledgeable. At no time he rushed us and give us all the time to appreciate the Rome attractions.

Must to go and highly recommended.

First thing you should do in Rome

This was a fantastic way to see all the important sites of Rome. Well is a very big city and having the ability to move around on a golf cart was essential in order to see everything. Our guide Andreas was amazing. He was very accommodating, stopping when we wanted to take photos and answered all of our questions. I would recommend this as the first thing to do when you arrive in Rome.

Absolutely fantastic way to see Rome!! 10/10!
Absolutely fantastic experience and what a way to see Rome!! My friend and I only had a day to see everything and this was the perfect way to tick off the sights and learn about the famous landmarks and the city’s history- especially in the heat! Andrea was a fabulous tour guide and provided us with so much information about each place. He also pointed out the best place for gelato and stopped for us to get some en route and then after the tour finished he dropped us off at a lovely restaurant for lunch. Couldn’t fault the tour and experience, I would definitely do it again! 10/10!!

Terrible experience - do not book with them

Terrible experience - do not book with this company. We booked multiple days in advance and paid in full to alleviate these type of issues. When we arrived, we all of the golf carts were full and we told our trip was “cancelled” - with no cancellation notification or refund.

1 guide tried to help mediate the situation the other guide did not seem to care and drove off with another group. When we called management, they did little to nothing to remediate the situation and we were told there was no more availability for that day (tours every 2 hours). This was also the only day we could do this tour while here.

We were then informed it would take over a week to be reimbursed the $450 we paid them in advance of this tour. 0/5 experience and customer service - with so many other golf cart tour options in the city, save yourself the annoyance and inconvenience and book with another company.

You’d be better of lighting your money on fire than taking this tour
This was the WORST company I have ever used. They promoted the tour with private transportation, but when we arrived we were quite disappointed. Not only was the tour guide 30 minutes late, but he arrived with only one golf cart for 3 groups. All of the groups expected a private tour…

My family of 4 wound up on a golf cart with another 3 people. Two of us were forced to ride backwards with the plastic windows/sides of the cart down preventing any ventilation on a 102 degree day. Not only could we not hear the guide but the experience in these seats was the worst.

When I reached out to the company about the issues and requested a refund, the response I received was:

“it is called a private tour when an experience is done no more
than 10 people when inside a golf Car limousine moreover there are seven people slash six people together it is called a private tour I think anyway there is no problem because obviously this tures is done everyday and people don't complain about not hearing anything even before at each site
you are going to visit the guide stops will explain it to you”

The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because they were flexible with us about rescheduling our tour and our guide was very nice, but the overall experience stunk. Such a disappointment for our last day in Rome. We would have been better off lighting our $600 on fire…

Dear customer I thank you for the review although 2 stars but honestly things did not really go as you say also because during your experience you tell me that you want a refund but when I show you that your experience is not private but shared and we will not have made the refund continued to the end . A golf car tour is a tour of excellence with special guides and special means without windows that allow you to get in front of a historical site like no other means and that is why it has its value whether you travel alone or with 4 other people ( not with 40 people ) That it is hot in Rome or Italy and psychologically nerve-wracking we are aware of that but I don't think it is our cause as you describe it also because the cars are open and not air-conditioned . As for the half' hour delay . you were informed in time through TripAdvisor but let's remember that in a chaotic capital like Rome of 5 million inhabitants this is possible ( we are not a bus line ) Anyway golf car tour Rorme ( leading company on Rome ) thank you and wish you a good stay in Rome

Bad Business Practice

My family and I booked and payed for our time for the tour in advance cause one of my members has never been to Rome before. When we arrived to the meet up we noticed that there was not enough room for us. The guides did not have a reservation and could not explain what happen. They tried to to claim that we canceled our reservation which is not true since we never received a refund and a notification from them canceling our reservation.

One of the tour guides was extremely unhelpful. When we asked for his help he ignored and didn’t want to. A young man who claims to be the older tour guides nephew was very nice. He called the company and they couldn’t help us. He argued and tried his best.

Overall, terrible experience with a tour that we never ended up going on.

Easy Does It

Our guide Andrea was terrific, friendly and knowledgeable. This tour made it possible for me to see Rome. Andrea took us to the historical highlights of the city using the main thoroughfares or the side streets and alleyways. At most of the sights we were able to park fairly close and others we had a relatively short walk. All along the way, Andrea continued to give us historical information. I felt comfortable and safe. Seeing Rome on a golf cart tour was an especially rewarding experience.

Great overview of Rome highlights
Our guide, Andrea, was well informed and very friendly. We were lucky enough to be the only people on our tour. That meant Andrea could be flexible, and give us extra time in places that interested us, he also dropped us off at our lunch restaurant at the end of the tour. This tour gave us the quick hits without the walking. It would be an excellent option for anyone with mobility issues. We choose this tour because we were short on time. Very good, not outstanding, because we didn't spend any significant time at any one location.

Our guide, Luca, was fantastic in showing us Rome - especially the places he loves in this beautiful city. This is the best way to see Rome. Our guide for the Coliseum, Arturo, was also knowledgeable and gave us an excellent tour of the Coliseum, Forum and Palatine Hill.

The BEST way to get an overview of Rome!
We only had a day to spend in Rome before we flew home and this was the PERFECT way to see the “Greatest Hits” in 3 hours. Our driver, Andreas (spelling?) was so personable and answered all of our questions. He provided the history of each of the places we visited. He even showed us (on his phone) what some of them originally looked like. He certainly knows his way around the back streets and alleys. And those cobblestones (why others complain is beyond me). We took the 4pm trip, so we saw sunset and evening lights— absolutely gorgeous! You won’t be disappointed!
