- donng20190 contributionsRISKY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO DOES NOT RESPONDRisky tour. We followed all their instructions to take the train and the train ended up being cancelled. We looked at Uber and it was $180 to go, which was more than the tour. We explained this to the tour and they told us that we need to attend otherwise they were keeping our money. We asked for more details and they failed to respond. They are refusing a refund even though we followed their instructions.Written July 18, 2023
- James L0 contributionsOne of the Highlights of Our Trip!Amazing experience and one of the highlights of our trip. Driver was great; took us everywhere we wanted to go and even had some suggestions for us. We made it to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navonna, Castel Sant Angelo, St. Peter’s Square, the keyhole view of St. Peter’s, the city lookout, and the Colosseum. Gelato was amazing! Kids had a great time and we got some amazing pictures. Highly recommend!Written June 12, 2023
- tkc1019730 contributionsFun, but needs some tweeks. The tour was fun and beautiful, the city was busier than normal because of the holiday. Our driver was friendly but at times was hard to understand and he has classical music playing in the background which made it harder. They need to pick a new gelato shop the one we went to was cool and old but not great.Written April 30, 2023
- Chaelagreer0 contributionsCancelled in at the last minuteI booked this tour through Viator as a surprise celebration for my sister’s birthday and planned the whole day around this event. However, a few hours before the tour was meant to start, I got a text saying that it was sold out and we’d need to cancel or be bumped to the following day. We already had plans for the following day so that was not possible. And I found it quite strange that a private tour could be sold out. I’m not positive what the real reason was, but my sister and I were very disappointed. I was able to request a refund but on such short notice, there wasn’t much I could do to find another tour. Skip this company.Written November 25, 2022
- 556sunl0 contributionsAn amezing and authentic experienceWe were a group of 4 friends and we all would recomend this beautiful experience. The wineyard does not use chemicals for the insects and in some parts is also a home to bees. The wine was phenominal and the food as well. We took a litle tour of the beautiful wineyard and over all it was a unforgettable experience for us. It was everything we expected and more. It is also a local family buisness and has a real authentic feel. The driver was unfortunatly a bit late (the wineyard uses another companies service for pickup and dropoff) but our guide did his very best to make our experience the best that he could out of the time we had.Written September 25, 2022
- RDJ1790 contributionsNoble winery in Montepulciano is awesome but manage your driver and know the itineraryWe loved the town of Montepulciano and the Noble wine tour. Our guide was awesome and she spoke great English. We had so much fun and that town was awesome. We thought we were getting lunch and stopping in two more towns. We went to another random winery in the middle of nonwhere to try picnic wine. They were surprised we were there, we waited a long time in the heat , and then we're rushed out. The only food we got was at a highway rest stop. We loved Montepulciano so much we would do it again but the tour is as good as the driver and that combination needs to be managed as ours really let us down. There was definitely a language barrier.Written June 26, 2022
- KateMin0 contributionsA beautiful afternoon in FrascatiRelaxing and thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Patrick was an excellent driver, punctual and friendly and happy to provide tips for the rest of our stay in Rome. Very comfortable journey to and from. The grounds of the winery were stunning inside and out, such a lovely atmosphere. Antonio, our guide and son of the vineyard owner, was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable about all things wine, very attentive and brought humour and great conversation throughout. He also ensured we had ample time on our own which added to the calm of the setting. Mama cat was a great co-host. The wine was delicious as were the snacks. I am a white wine convert thanks to this family 😊 Would 100% recommend. Only thing is double check with agency the time of your booking, not something Patrick or Antonio could control but there was a mixup with our booking slot so better to check when confirmed.Written March 19, 2022
- Liliam R0 contributionsAmalfi Coast: full-day tour from Rome An unforgettable dayThis trip is a must. We spent a whole day on 14/10/21 with our driver Alessandro and our guide Roberta, two delightful individuals. They both are very proud of their work, they are knowledgeable and extremely likable and professional. Their company. ItalianLife Tours specializes in custom tours. We booked this standard tour that included pickup and delivery at our hotel plus a visit to the Amalfi Coast and Positano. The tour also included lunch in what you can call heaven on earth. The lunch was at a top of a mountain with incredible views and excellent selection of dishes. Roberta will customize the time to your interests. We were not interested in shopping so we spent the time exploring and taking pictures. I highly recommend ItalianLife Tours they will work with you to customize your dream visit. Thank you Alessandro and Roberta for an unforgettable day. LiliamWritten October 15, 2021
- Erin B0 contributionsBest Day Ever!We had an excellent time making pasta and drinking wine with friends and new acquaintances. The day was filled with pasta making, wine drinking, and a tour of the property. We also enjoyed being carinated by our chef. I would highly recommend this excursion!Written March 5, 2020
- TPritulsky0 contributionsMontepulciano, winery and PienzaThe pleasant young driver arrived promptly at our hotel in a nice comfortable car. Bottled water was not offered or provided. "Lunch" was to be provided, a cheese and meat board was served at the winery during our tasting which I would not consider to be "lunch". The scenery was beautiful, the wine hostess was fabulous and aside from the few short comings it was a great trip to Tuscany.Written October 24, 2019
- amvcnm0 contributionsLovely! This was close to Rome for a nice half day outing. Our driver, Patrick was on time (early actually) and gave some interesting Italian history during our pleasant drive. Antonio, from the family winery was knowledgeable, unpretentious, personable and so fun to be with. The wine was yummy as were the food pairings, local, well prepared bites. I def recommend. - Caroline F0 contributionsAwesome!Beautiful winery. Great people. Tons of wine!! Pick up and drop off was nice but we felt rushed by our driver at the end. Other than that it was perfect!Written September 12, 2019
- steverQ1593TV0 contributionsFantastic couple of hours enjoyed by all the family! We were picked up promptly by Patrick and driven in luxury to the Frascati wine estate just outside Rome. Had a very knowledgeable gentleman spend time explaining all about wines, soil, sun and the requisites that make one wine taste different from another even if the same grapes are used and they are from close by vineyards. The wines, and nibbles between wines were exquisite. Really well worth it! One of the highlights of our 4 day visit.Written March 19, 2019
- michgoblue02050 contributionsRelaxing, private winery tourMy husband and I were looking for a relaxing way to start our Rome holiday, and this private tour fit the bill perfectly. We were picked up from our hotel in a Mercedes sedan by Patrick, our driver, who happened to be from Germany. We had a pleasant conversation during the half hour drive to Frascati, and Patrick gave us some recommendations for restaurants and other sites to see during our trip. The Santa Benedetta winery was beautiful, and one of the employees there gave us a tour of the vineyards, how different wines are made, and then we got to the tasting. Their tasting room is lovely. We got to sample 3 different wines, paired was some amazing bread and olive oil, cheeses, meats, and desserts. We bought a case each of olive oil and wine, and had it shipped home. Everything arrived to us in the US in just over a week. The wines were truly delicious, and we later learned that the house wines served throughout Rome typically come from Frascati. Although we did buy cases of wine and olive oil, we did so because we wanted to, and certainly did not feel pressured to do so. We were simply given a price list and shipping costs/options, and then left alone to make our own decisions. I truly appreciated that. If you are a wine or olive oil lover, this place is worth a visit!Written March 11, 2019

Alfredo, Niko and Jacapo created 5 hours of indulgent and fabulous magic. We made pizza with a real pizza master, walked vines and tasted wines with a wine maker, and were hosted and entertained by the whole warm family.
The quality of their wines was exceptional and the pizzas we made and shared were the best we have ever eaten.
If you are in Rome, please catch the train to Frascati, admire the splendid views of Rome and be wrapped in the warmth and culture of this talented team and their lovely home where they have lived and made wine for 9 generations.

The visit to the vinyard, the pizza making class and the lunch and wine tasting were highlights of our visit to Italy. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, the area is beautiful, the cellars were fascinating and the class was hilarious. I cant say enough about how much fun all of us had.
