Our charming and knowledgeable guide, Luigi, was superb. He trained us on the Segways before we set out and kept us safe through Rome's crazy traffic and over ancient cobblestones. At each brief and well-timed stop he offered insights more interesting than any you come upon in guidebooks, in excellent English. A bonus: he was born and raised in Rome, and clearly knew and loved the city.

Luigi was great! We had a blast, best way to see Rome. My wife was worried about riding a segway for the first time but picked it up super quick and was zipping around. Highly recommend.

Jean Luca was awesome. Legit historical tour. You will see allot of the major sites and many smaller sites. We covered allot of ground and it lasted about 2.5hrs. All but one person in the tour picked up how to use the Segway quickly . The guide had to pay allot of attention to one person that made it through the entire tour thanks to his help. 90% in the group needed no help including first timers.

What a fantastic way to see the sights of Rome in the middle of a heatwave! It was so much fun and we all agreed it was one of the best tours we’ve ever done. Only a small group of 8 people and our guide was so knowledgeable (and patient) and we learned so much about the history of Rome in 3 hours. Highly recommended. We would recomend this tour to anyone! Chris is a A+++++++ guide, so easy to talk to! Great guy, great tour! We only had 1 day in Rome and we wouldnt have had chance to see half the places Chris took us around let alone the history of them! He also took us to places we had never heard of which we would have missed out on. If anyone is put off by a segway don't be Chris is a patient and superior teacher! We breezed past the ebike riders who were sweating away going up the same hill as us. Chris went out his way for us from start to finish. He also offered up amazing recomendations for somewhere nice to eat dinner as well as an amazing Gelato place, you must ask him. He even put the location in our google maps for us! We had used Rex tours for a half day segway tour the last time we were in Rome and thought it was a fantastic experience so figured we would try it again with our niece and nephew as a graduation present. We chose to do the full day tour as we had limited time in Rome. During this particular visit, the daily temperatures were getting into the 108 degrees range with heat index of 115, so they requested we change the tour to start at 330pm. I had no issues with this and agreed to the change. This meant we were getting dinner instead of lunch. I informed them previously that we had someone with Celiac with us that would need to be accommodated and they said this wouldn't be a problem. However, when we got there, we found she had 1 option only for her meal, and no appetizers. This would be one of two issues we had with the tour. I would almost prefer paying separately for dinner and being able to pick a different location as the meal was just ok. Now, this could be due to the fact that it is normally lunch that is included in the tour. We had Luigi as our tour guide and he did a great job training us on how to work the segways, then off we went into the city to find all the main sites. He did a great job getting us to all the major attractions and really enjoyed being able to see the city from the segways. Seeing the city at night was an added bonus and some of the photos ended up amazing! Luigi was also there to take group photos every chance we wanted. Luigi even recommended the best gelato place we tried the entire time we were in Italy! If anyone is interested, definitely check out Gunthers! My only last complaint is that we booked a 9-hour tour and due to the change in timing of the tour, we really only got 7 hours of tour time, and this included our just over 1-hour dinner break and a gelato stop. However, I would like to point out that even with a dinner and gelato break, we still were able to see all the sights we wanted to see. Another note for future bookers, you stop and see the sights, but typically do not go in them. This was not an issue for our group, and we still thoroughly enjoyed our tour!

We had Chris as our guide and we had the most amazing time. So special thanks to him. He was so knowledgeable and his passion for the city and its history really showed. We learned so much from him. Would highly recommend doing it first time coming into the city as it gives you a nice lay of the city and you touch all the ancient Roman sites. Segway is easy to drive as well and they fo have a small practice session before taking you on the tour. We had our tour for the full 3 hours and it is definitely your money's worth!

So much fun! Luigi tailored the tour to what we wanted to see and went at our pace. Biking around the city allowed us to see so much more than we would have otherwise, and was a great introduction to the city. A little scary navigating through busy roads (with heavy car and pedestrian traffic). The breeze on the bike was so much better than walking in the heat as well. Plus it started to drizzle a bit and the cold rain was so refreshing. We had a blast!

Had our tour last night and loved it! Luca was excellent, very kind and very enjoyable to talk to. Caught the sunset at the exact right moment, too. It’s been hot days here in Rome and this was a great way to beat the heat. Also, I was nervous to ride the Segway as I’m over 40 and have had a previous knee surgery. Once you get the hang of it- which happened quickly!- it was SO MUCH FUN! Now I want to find a Segway tour to do in every new city we visit! I highly recommend doing it!

Leo was amazing and treated me and my daughter to a fabulous Segway tour around Rome. Nothing was too much trouble and we really enjoyed his friendly warm nature and vast knowledge. Excellent introduction to the major sites with a very warm and lovely guide Luigi who had lots of relaxed enthusiasm for the tour. Easy riding for the tour - would be fine for any kids over 8 or 9 - and he really made an effort to engage our teens too. Highly recommend and the 3-6pm timeslot was perfect to ward off the first day of jet lag.
