Informative and smooth tour of the Vatican
Really wonderful tour. Our guide, Monica, was so kind and welcoming, and she led a very informative tour from the start. Monica pointed out all the best bits and knew exactly where we should be at all times.

Awesome tour. So much to see.
Our guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable about all of the art and artifacts. Super nice and welcomed questions. We are so glad we had her as our guide. Can’t say enough good things about her.

Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with the ability to go to St Peter’s Basilica separately.
Frederico “you can call me Fred”! was a terrific and well informed guide taking us through the hordes of people visiting the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. I have given a 4 as shuffling through a mass of people, is not the most fun experience. Otherwise definitely a 5 for “call me Fred”.Vatican

Would book again in a heart beat. My initial concerns washed away as soon as we found the meeting place
Laura our guide was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and always making sure we had all the information without knowledge overload. Don’t be put off by the confusing joining instructions they have it worked out perfectly. Make your way to the bottom, not top, of the steps at the Via Tunisi and Viale Vaticano and you will see a group of people arrive in bright green T Shirts and jackets. Once they have checked your booking you will be split into groups of 20 and directed to your guide who will be holding an ecoArt flag aloft, all the ecoArt guides have different coloured flags so follow the flag. You are given an ear piece and transmitter and you will easily hear everything Laura has to guide and tell you. Every word is worth listening to as you make your way around at an easy pace. Plenty of time to take photos and Laura will show you the best spots for this. The Sistine Chapel was overwhelming. Don’t be rushed through by the Sistine Chapel staff, find a place on the long bench to either side and relax and enjoy the wonder of it all.

    First time at the Vatican
We had a great time on our tour with Adriano! He was very personable and knowledgeable about art and history. He was easy to follow and made what could have been an overwhelming visit one to remember.

    Great Tour!
Eddy was absolutely fantastic! Not only was he incredibly funny and engaging throughout the entire tour, but his knowledge of the area and its history was truly impressive. As a solo rider, I felt welcomed and included, and Eddy made sure to personalize the experience to make it enjoyable for everyone. His energy and enthusiasm kept the group entertained, and he had a great way of sharing interesting facts and stories in a fun, approachable manner. I genuinely had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the tour to anyone, solo or otherwise.

    A great experience
We legit surpassed all lines which made the experience even better. It would be nice if we spent a little time in some additional spots like the rooms with the Egyptian and Etruscan collections, but that's just my opinion and taste. Special note for our tour guide, Raf: great attitude and humor and what an amazing storyteller

Definitely recommend - genuine booking site - Thanks so much Stefano - from Australia
We had a great time with Stefano. Extremely knowledgeable, contextual, well researched and witty. Stefano's experience in this important political and religious city was evident throughout his unique presentation. He carefully explained the historical context and links between artefacts, buildings and relationships which create this unique city. Stephano's craftmanship centers around facts, rather than religion, making this tour relevant to any audience. We really appreciated his attention to detail and enthusiasm in what he presented. He cleverly provided opportunity for photos, even in the continual motion of the tour. We booked this as an English speaking tour, for reference. Always a gamble booking this sort of event online; however, even though it was a sponsored link, we can certainly recommend this as an option for other travelers to consider. Our tour was in the first week of September - it was hot and humid, so bring water. There is no air-conditioning throughout the tour, so light-weight clothing is recommended. Please respect the request of your guide (they will let you know several times in advance) and the Vatican, and refrain from taking photos when asked. Security are hot on this.

    Brilliant guide Sara!
Expertly and knowledgeably guided by Sara , we learned a great deal about this awe-inspiring place. She paced our time there beautifully and negotiated difficult crowds with aplomb. A fantastic experience! Best guide we have ever had anywhere! Thank you Sara!

Very polite tour guide. Easy to find prior to tour. Informative, overall great experience. Bring a bottle of water. You can have a backpack even though it says you can’t.

A compact & pleasant tour of the Vatican within 3 hours
A great tour with a cohesive flow across all the rooms and very interesting commentary. We legit surpassed all lines which made the experience even better. It would be nice if we spent a little time in some additional spots like the rooms with the Egyptian and Etruscan collections, but that's just my opinion and taste. Stunning!
Alicia was spectacular!!! Full of energy, full of light, full of love and passion for the tour. She was constantly letting us know where all the good spots were to take the best pictures and she was so right every single time! Her knowledge of the Vatican and all its contents was enjoyable and she really tailored it to all of us by checking where we were at in our knowledge to see what she could clarify and add on to. She welcomed questions regularly and constantly set proper expectations in each section: get your cameras ready, time to be quiet, no photos in the section coming up, etc. As for skip the line - yes, it was a skip the line tour but bear in mind that there are thousands of people visiting Vatican City so there will inevitably be a small queue at various checkpoints. Instead of waiting in a 2 hour line to get in, we waited in a 10min line with other skip the line tours which I didn’t mind at all. I say this because some people may develop expectations of getting right in because the tour is labeled skip the line. All together it was really enjoyable, and would definitely do it again with friends or family.

    Average rating for price
We had no skip the que, had to wait in line for 15-20 min entering the museum, guide was just ok, went quiet fast through everywhere specially museum section. Got access to bascillica and that was it he went, it was free anyway. We had to pay amd que to go to dome which was worth it as view from top great, should be included as part of price paid for tour. Other tours brought them round bascillica and got them fast pass to dome. For price paid I would say this was just about average nothing special

    One of a kind
Our tour guide was giorgina and it was a truly exceptional experience. Her english is fantastic compared to alot of my previous experiences she was very competent. She was so kind and patient it was raining at first and with the skip the line tour we got in fast and didnt wait at all. She knew the whole place and the history inside out and was answering all kinds of questions with care and gave us time for photos. We took our whole time and the experience was amazing and was truly worth the visit!
