She was incredibly knowledgeable and lended fascinating historical context to the wealth of art within the Vatican. We were blown away by the sheer size and scope of the Vatican. There is an astounding amount of history packed into this location and having Roberta explain the significance of what we were seeing helped immensely, in addition to her ability to navigate with ease. The experience would not have been the same if we had self-guided our trip. Early morning was the best time to see the site before the crowds and the heat. The tour was excellent and thought out! It was tailored to us and all of our questions were answered. Massimo was a fantastic and welcoming guide! I loved having the private experience-and early morning made for limited crowds and great pictures.

Wonderful tour and tour guide Francesca P. was so knowledgeable and informative. I chose Liv Tours for the city walking tour because they were the only company that I saw that included tickets to go inside the Pantheon as part of their walking tour (other companies just stopped by the outside - you must go inside, it is not to be missed!). Totally pleased with this tour.

The tour was wonderful! I highly recommend starting your trip with a walking tour to help understand where you are. Our guide was comfortable with our family and had so much knowledge about the sites we saw. I felt like we saw a lot without being too overwhelmed or annoying the kids (16, 14, 12).

Andrew was amazing! His passion for the history, place and people was obvious- and it brought that something extra to our tour. With only two of us- he made it fun and engaging, while also enlightening us to the greatness of the area. Helpful with getting to know the most essential places as well! Highly recommend!

We feel very fortunate to have had Francesca as our guide on this walking tour through Rome. She is articulate, knowledgeable and very personable. Her obvious love for Rome, her birthplace, matches the breadth of information she shared about its colorful history. Moreover, since we were the only clients on the tour, she masterfully tailored her presentation to suit our particular interests.
Our time with Francesca was not only informative, it was delightful. We left her feeling like we’d just spent time with a friend.

This tour was one of the most immersive and enjoyable experiences we have had in Rome. Our tour guide gave us in-depth explanations behind numerous fountains, statues, buildings etc. and allowed us to understand the history of the heart of Rome. Francesca's energy never faltered and despite having walked all day prior, we barely noticed our aching feet. She was consistently engaged with us, which made our tour feel that much more personalized. The pit-stop for gelato was a refreshing surprise, along with the captivating explanations behind the Pantheon, Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, Piazza de Spagna and many more. This is definitely one of, if not the most, memorable experiences in Rome for us.

Our family had the most incredible experience exploring Rome's historic center with Alexandra as our tour guide. Her knowledge and passion for the city's history were truly exceptional. Not only did she take us to iconic sites like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon, but she also unveiled hidden gems that we would have never discovered on our own.
Alexandra's storytelling brought the history of Rome to life, making each stop an enriching experience. Her attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and willingness to answer our questions made the tour even more enjoyable.
I can't recommend Alexandra enough. If you want to explore Rome with a knowledgeable and engaging guide, she's the one to choose. Our day with her was undoubtedly a highlight of our trip, and I'm giving her tour a well-deserved 5 stars!

Our guide, Alice, took us on an early evening stroll from the Spanish steps to the Piazza Navona, in addition to the headline places on the tour she took time to point out hidden gems along the way. Being Roman, she told us about areas and others things we could do on our stay and perhaps we could do the next time we visit. Highlights? We had Gelato, which was delicious and a nice touch, and made a wish a Trevi fountain. Time well spent. Thank you Alice.

Rish made the tour great. He was so warm, knowledgeable and entertaining. He brought the ancient sights to life and shared details that helped you see what city life is like today as well. He was one of the best tour guides we’ve had, and his thoughtfulness and obvious years of experience made the tour go seamlessly. Thank you so much!

We booked an evening walking tour of Rome through Liv Tour for our first day in Rome. It was our first time to the city and our tour with Mattia was a perfect intro to the city. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and more than willing to answer all of our questions. Would highly recommend this tour for a “first look” at Rome!
