Eleonora is an excellent guide. She knows the history abd was able to easily answer any questions. We also appreciated her books that showed the periodic changes. It really brought ancient history to life. Needless to say, she was courteous and engaging.

This was one of my favorite tours. Katie Farrah was our guide, and she was so knowledgeable. She took the time to explain Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel frescos so when we went in, we could easily follow the work. It was spectacular. I felt so close to heaven in that chapel. We went on to St. Peter’s Basilica and saw the Pieta and what a beautiful basilica it was. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Do not hesitate.

Azzurra was an excellent guide to the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s. Her English is excellent and she has a warm, welcoming personality. She is extremely knowledgeable and her introductory “lesson” before entering the Museums about the history of the Vatican and detailed information about the Sistine Chapel (in which she is prohibited from speaking) was invaluable. She has many interesting, sometimes funny, “inside” facts to share during the tour. I recommend her highly and would certainly ask for her again for different tours in Rome.

Marina was personable and spoke English very well. She knows the ins and outs of the Vatican and St Peter’s Basilica. Highly recommend

Our guide Luigi was fantastic - so informative and enthusiastic, huge knowledge of history/archaeology and lovely sense of humour in his delivery. We would not hesitate to recommend this small-group tour. We toured the Colosseum and Roman Forum (commencing 9am, so we were in before it was too crowded). Luigi even took photos of us and the rest of our group when requested. The views and experience of being inside the Colosseum and Forum were wonderful. We each wore an earpiece so that we could hear Luigi clearly at all times, even when moving through a crowd or away from our group for short times. Very interesting and great fun.

Rosie provided us with an excellent private tour of the forum and colosseum. She has a vast knowledge of the Roman history and delivered this knowledge to us in an expressive, entertaining and informative manner. Our time with Rosie was one of the best tours we took in Rome - and we took several tours. We would highly recommend this tour and ask for Rosie if possible! You will NOT be disappointed.

We recently took a full day tour in Rome…Colosseum and Forum in the morning and Vatican in the afternoon. Our tour guide, Rosie, was very simply the best tour guide we have ever had anywhere in the world. Her knowledge was near encyclopedic and she presented it as if a close friend was talking to you. The things we learned from her were amazing as she had the ability to make you feel the experience. By the end of the day we were a bit in awe over what we had seen and most importantly learned from Rosie. If you ever have the chance to join her as your tour guide you will be incredibly glad you did. Wow.

We did a 10-person semi-private tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum with Alessandro. He is an incredibly passionate tour guide with a background in archaeology and he is so knowledgeable about all things Colosseum, Roman Forum and Roman history! The tour itself was super-cool as it was amazing to see these architectural marvels and imagining what it was like in Gladiator-times. Alessandro made our tour both informational and entertaining with fun facts and jokes. A great way to spend a morning in Rome!

We had such an amazing experience with Eyes of Rome and Eleonora during our last trip to Rome that we knew we had to book her service again as we returned this year with family. She did an amazing job, yet again. Very informative, with wonderful insight on all aspects of Roman history regarding the Colosseum and Roman Forum. This was absolutely the best tour we took in our ten days in Italy!! Rosie was our guide and she was phenomenal! She was so fun and informative. She put us at ease from the moment we met her. She was an art history major and really knew how to explain the history to us in understandable terms. We were impressed with her ability to answer all of our questions and she kept the pace of the day moving so we didn't miss anything! It was an additional pleasure to have her join us for lunch!

Our trip to the Vatican was fantastic. Our private pick-up arrived on-time and our tour guide, Elisa, was awesome. She was super friendly, spoke excellent English and most importantly was incredibly knowledgeable about our tour stops. She gave us detail facts and interesting stories about the popes, painters, and sculptors that we hadn’t heard before, which made the tour all the more interesting. Taking the “early bird” tour also allowed us to beat the huge crowds and the midday heat, which was another huge plus. We highly recommend this tour.
