This was my favorite food tour we did in Italy! (we also did one in Florence with Eating Europe, as well as a Walkabout class) It’s a great value, you get a lot of food on this tour and it’s all very classic Roman. You’ll learn some fun history along the way, as well as learn about the food you’re eating. Our guide Giorgia was great, super helpful and fun. I’d definitely recommend trying one of these tours with their local guides. We loved it!

Our guide, Maria was amazing! She not only made sure we were well fed, but she gave us the background of everything we ate and each restaurant or stop along the way as well as the area we were in. She also pointed out other sights of interest . Her passion for history was evident.

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour with guide Ilaria and were lucky enough to spend the evening with a small, but wonderful group of travelers enjoying food from places we would never have found on our own. From meats and cheeses (accompanied by a delicious chilled red wine) at Norcineria Viola in the Campo de' Fiori to Suppli at Forno Rosciolo on the Via dei Chieveri, to four different types of pasta at Origano (again with wines) to delicious tiramisu at Two Sizes and finally fabulous gelato at Sant Eustachio in the Largo di Torre Argentina we certainly didn't go hungry. It was the perfect experience for our second night in Rome and offered us lots of options to consider for the rest of our stay. Well worth the investment!

Great time with a really lovely, knowledgeable guide. 5 food stops in total, with a history lesson in between stops. Nice relaxed pace and plenty of great Roman food. Highly recommended.

A must do experience while you are here, learned some history of the area, saw different parts of the city we would never have discovered and tasted some fantastic food and drink along the way.... definitely worth doing at the beginning of your holiday, as we you will want to go back and eat in these places rather than the tourist hotspot restaurants! The only reason it's not 5* is because we didn't have the meat/cheese or tiramisu bit which was advertised, not sure why but the food we did have was amazing and our guide was knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun, with just the right amount of history and facts you wouldn't never know without taking part.

Our guide was funny and very informative. My husband and I had already walked around some of the areas we covered without being aware of their historical significance. Others were new experiences and we learned so much. It is also good to enjoy some time with travellers from other countries to exchange travelling stories. The restaurants and food we sampled was also different to what we had already sampled, eg. The fried artichoke starter.

This may have been my favorite thing we did in Rome! Celiac safe and amazing experience with our guide. We explored 4 restaurants for each course and then the history along the way! It was fun to see a local Rome guide give us his impression of the sites and know where to get the best GF food and wine. We LOVED it and it was totally worth the money just to eat and learn about the Jewish Ghetto, where Julius Caesar was killed, Bernini fountains and more!

Greta was a great guide, very bubbly and showed us some real local cuisines. We tried 5 different places and all were good.

Wonderful evening with our guide Maria! The history, the historical sites, the information was all quite interesting and the food was delicious!! We had plenty to eat & drink and loved the entire experience. Highly recommend!

The food tour was fantastic. Giorgia was a fantastic tour guide - she was very knowledgeable, personable and we had a great assortment of food and drinks - cured meats, pates, pasta lunch with wine, limoncello, tiramisu, and gelato! And you see some of the sights of Rome - Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Would recommend.

Im still waiting for our guide to send our pizza making pictures to us- it was just 2 of us - She promised to send them asap after our tour and we never got them

Very good tour. Our guide almost gave us too much history. Only two stops where we got to sit down, so it was a long tour. Good way to try a dozen different foods. Hot in August! Best surprise was location of one stop was underground room from 52 BC!

An excellent tour of the Jewish ghetto area. Maria was an excellent guide on this tour The food was amazing and plenty of it ranging from pizza to pasta and many starter dishes accompanied by wine and beer. Then we had dessert and coffee. We went to many different areas which I would not have visited if not for this tour . Highly recommend
