- 95lilliak00Great value, lots of food, great way to see the cityThis was my favorite food tour we did in Italy! (we also did one in Florence with Eating Europe, as well as a Walkabout class) It’s a great value, you get a lot of food on this tour and it’s all very classic Roman. You’ll learn some fun history along the way, as well as learn about the food you’re eating. Our guide Giorgia was great, super helpful and fun. I’d definitely recommend trying one of these tours with their local guides. We loved it!
- 641suzank00Best Rome Food TourOur guide, Maria was amazing! She not only made sure we were well fed, but she gave us the background of everything we ate and each restaurant or stop along the way as well as the area we were in. She also pointed out other sights of interest . Her passion for history was evident.
- Higgster500Food tourFun experience enjoyed every course especially the tiramisu lovely wine ,beer, pizza. Pasta and gelato excellent guide Isabel
- 232kurtw00A perfect chance to sample the best of Roman foodWe thoroughly enjoyed our food tour with guide Ilaria and were lucky enough to spend the evening with a small, but wonderful group of travelers enjoying food from places we would never have found on our own. From meats and cheeses (accompanied by a delicious chilled red wine) at Norcineria Viola in the Campo de' Fiori to Suppli at Forno Rosciolo on the Via dei Chieveri, to four different types of pasta at Origano (again with wines) to delicious tiramisu at Two Sizes and finally fabulous gelato at Sant Eustachio in the Largo di Torre Argentina we certainly didn't go hungry. It was the perfect experience for our second night in Rome and offered us lots of options to consider for the rest of our stay. Well worth the investment!
- The_Perkies00Food, food and more food.Great time with a really lovely, knowledgeable guide. 5 food stops in total, with a history lesson in between stops. Nice relaxed pace and plenty of great Roman food. Highly recommended.
- Torreyana00A must do amazing food and wine experience, with a fantastic insight into the local area and it's historyA must do experience while you are here, learned some history of the area, saw different parts of the city we would never have discovered and tasted some fantastic food and drink along the way.... definitely worth doing at the beginning of your holiday, as we you will want to go back and eat in these places rather than the tourist hotspot restaurants! The only reason it's not 5* is because we didn't have the meat/cheese or tiramisu bit which was advertised, not sure why but the food we did have was amazing and our guide was knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun, with just the right amount of history and facts you wouldn't never know without taking part.
- Netta013500Rome by night in the Jewish AreaOur guide was funny and very informative. My husband and I had already walked around some of the areas we covered without being aware of their historical significance. Others were new experiences and we learned so much. It is also good to enjoy some time with travellers from other countries to exchange travelling stories. The restaurants and food we sampled was also different to what we had already sampled, eg. The fried artichoke starter.
- Shannon G00Great food great value! What an amazing experience! Small groups and the most delicious food. Highly recommend, it was one of the highlights of our visit
- sestryker00Sign up for this tour ASAP! You’ll love it!This may have been my favorite thing we did in Rome! Celiac safe and amazing experience with our guide. We explored 4 restaurants for each course and then the history along the way! It was fun to see a local Rome guide give us his impression of the sites and know where to get the best GF food and wine. We LOVED it and it was totally worth the money just to eat and learn about the Jewish Ghetto, where Julius Caesar was killed, Bernini fountains and more!
- CJW123400Lovely way to explore local foodGreta was a great guide, very bubbly and showed us some real local cuisines. We tried 5 different places and all were good.
- pamelajgs00Wonderful Evening in Rome!Wonderful evening with our guide Maria! The history, the historical sites, the information was all quite interesting and the food was delicious!! We had plenty to eat & drink and loved the entire experience. Highly recommend!
- 138valt00Excellent experience! The food tour was fantastic. Giorgia was a fantastic tour guide - she was very knowledgeable, personable and we had a great assortment of food and drinks - cured meats, pates, pasta lunch with wine, limoncello, tiramisu, and gelato! And you see some of the sights of Rome - Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Would recommend.
- Mobile0996438464700Where are our pictures? Our guide took my email and never send me our pizza making picturesIm still waiting for our guide to send our pizza making pictures to us- it was just 2 of us - She promised to send them asap after our tour and we never got them
- Z7526KIrobertg00Great TourVery good tour. Our guide almost gave us too much history. Only two stops where we got to sit down, so it was a long tour. Good way to try a dozen different foods. Hot in August! Best surprise was location of one stop was underground room from 52 BC!
- Stay1633771808900Excellent food tour of ItalyAn excellent tour of the Jewish ghetto area. Maria was an excellent guide on this tour The food was amazing and plenty of it ranging from pizza to pasta and many starter dishes accompanied by wine and beer. Then we had dessert and coffee. We went to many different areas which I would not have visited if not for this tour . Highly recommend

Maia was a terrific guide. A local who knows much about the city, provided many insights about the food/wine, the customs, the history, and architecture. The tour was well-paced and the guide was patient with our voluminous questions. Highly recommend this experience!

This was a very enjoyable food tour. We don’t drink alcohol and coffee and they were very kind to make substitutions for us. Giulia was a great tour guide. I especially loved dining in the underground theater, somewhere we would never have found for ourselves. My only complaint would be that there seemed a lot of confusion which resulted in a lot of extra standing around in the heat. I got the impression that some stops were not well prepared, possibly more people showed up and they split in 2 groups- not clear.

Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Wonderful experience to visit where the locals eat, drink. Guide was great and kept our family group from 18 to 81 entertained and ensured that the lactose and nut allergy were not an issue. Would highly recommend

We had a lovely 3 hour tour of Rome feasting on superb delights from various shops with wonderful history and heritage. We tried several new items which is a rare treat as we have been to Italy multiple times. The guide was very informative and passionate about Rome's heritage and history. The Roman Pizza was a true delight and it is a must for anyone that loves pizza.

My mother, godmother and I went on this tour during a vacation in Italy last summer and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The tour was so extensive, so fully of history and culture and most of all FOOD! We ate so much at every stop and enjoyed such a variety of options, each one just as if not more delicious than the next. Our guide was so kind, personable and knowledgeable, and so passionate about what she did, it enriched the entire experience all the more. Would highly highly recommend!

This is a must do if you go to Rome! It’s the perfect mix of history (just a little) plus amazing food and drink and a great way to get to know this part of the city. I’ve got to say that it was all down to our fantastic guide, Guilia, who was amazing. She was so considerate and organised but also really funny - she made our trip! We were joined with another really friendly group (9 of us in total) and it worked really well. All of the food and drink is delicious and it’s great value for money. Overall I can’t recommend this experience highly enough!

Simona was an absolutely fantastic tour guide and host for our group. She made us all feel welcome and at ease immediately, keeping energy and enthusiasm high throughout. I have a nut allergy and Simona was completely understanding and really went the extra mile to make sure I was safe. The highlight of our holiday! Thank you so much.

This tour was a fantastic blend of tasty treats and interesting tidbits of history. My group of 12 thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the tour. Our guide, Giorgia, was simply the best-personable, entertaining, kind and warm! She treated us to an incredible experience that we will treasure forever. The food was excellent and the tour was a great value!

This was the best tour we did in Rome. We enjoyed amazing food from cheeses to pizza to pasta to coffee to tiaramisu to gelato. And our guide, Maria, was wonderful! She was a true hostess and made us feel so welcomed to her city. We learned a great deal about Italian culture from Maria. And there is the bonus of seeing the Pantheon on this tour. If you want a truly authentic experience in Rome, this is the tour for you.

Despite a wet start to our food tour, we had a blast navigating Camp di Fiori, mixing food, sights and a bit of history. This is a great way to kickoff your stay in Rome and get the lay of the land in and around the city center. Our family favorite was the pizza and the pasta meal in the old theater. Come hungry…Our guide Andrea was a fun and informative. We had a good time with him. This booking is well worth the money!
