      Colosseum Family Tour
We had an incredible private tour of the Colosseum and Forum with Viviana. Her knowledge and passion for history brought the ancient sites to life. She was exceptionally good with my three children, engaging them with a scavenger hunt and making the experience enjoyable for the whole family. Highly recommend Viviana for a memorable and educational tour!

      Underwhelming Experience
Overall we had an underwhelming experience with the tours. They were fine, but I would look at different tour companies in the future if we ever did other tours/activities in Rome. One of the tours we did with this company was a half-day kids golf car tour of historic sites in the city (including the Colosseum). Overall it was good, but felt a bit rushed, which made it less fun. I got the sense that we had to quickly move from site-to-site in order to finish on time. The tour guide was very nice and personable, but her anxiousness to keep moving made us a little anxious to finish the tour on time. We then did the Divine Race kids tour of the Vatican. It was fine, but I wouldn't recommend it to others. The "scavenger hunt" for the kids was somewhat phony, which was disappointing after we had hyped it up to our kids prior. Also, FYI, the tour spent most of the time looking at sculptures and statues in the museum and does not include St. Peter's Basilica. We (both parents and kids) got quickly tired of looking at ancient Greco-Roman statues. I would have much rather spent an hour less among the sculptures and then spent that hour touring the Basilica. Honestly, the Basilica was by far the most impressive thing at the Vatican, so it was disappointing to have spent the money on the tour and then afterward wander around the Basilica without a guide... In fairness, we chose the tour, which clearly states that it only includes the museums and the Sistine Chapel. So our disappointment with the museum experience is not the tour company's fault. In hindsight though, we would have much rather bypassed the museum and done St. Peter's Basilica instead. The tour company did a good job of communicating with us, which we appreciated. But our overall experience was underwhelming. The golf cart tour was the best of the three we did, but overall it was about average.

      Wouldn't Recommend
Overall we had an underwhelming experience with the tours. They were fine, but I would look at different tour companies in the future if we ever did other tours/activities in Rome. One of the things we did was the pizza masterclass, which I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The whole experience was pretty lame and did not match the photos that we saw online prior to going. We simply sat at a back table in a restaurant, kneaded dough while listening to someone (who wasn't very engaging) explain the process of making pizza, and then spent a brief amount of time in the small kitchen of the restaurant rolling dough and putting toppings on our pizza. It was definitely a let down, and for the current price of this experience (65 euros!), I wouldn't recommend it. The tour company did a good job of communicating with us, which we appreciated. But our overall experience wasn't great; it was underwhelming. And if you're going to spend the money to do things like this, I would advise looking at other options.

Awesome Vatican & St Peter’s Tour with Tommaso
My husband and i loved touring the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica with Tommaso. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Vatican and the treasures within. He shared information in a fun engaging manner. Tommaso’s warmth and kindness made us feel immediately comfortable. Highly recommend this tour!

      Excellent class, delicious food
Our family of four (2 adults & 2 kids) took the pizza and tiramisu class. Sara was an excellent instructor and a lot of fun. We learned a lot and had a great time. Everything turned out so delicious, and we made friends with the other people taking the class. Definitely a great class!

Vatican Tour for the Under 6 Crowd
We arrived at the Vatican to meet our guide under clear skies. We left a few hours later in a downpour. In between, we were treated to an informed walkthrough of the Vatican Museums, Courtyard, and St. Peter's Basilica by a very....very patient Teresa! We had 2 kids (6 and 4) + a heavy stroller to move up and down multiple flights of stairs. It was physically taxing (leave the stroller home) and the kids had a lot of history and art thrown at them. Despite all that, Teresa made the tour engaging and educational, especially for the kids. She guided us to places and told stories that were designed to hold the kids' attention and make the experience a fun one. If you're in Rome with kids and the Vatican is on your list, this tour proves that you don't have to choose!

Making Pizza with the Kids -- A True Roman Experience
The pizza making class was a wonderful experience -- a nice, quiet activity away from the bustle of the rest of our trip. Our kids (6 and 4) were both able to participate. The instructor included them in each step and they were able to enjoy the fruits of their labor at the end. I'd recommend to anyone looking for something other than the traditional sightseeing that Rome is known for.

      Marco Is an INCREDIBLE guide
We are a family of 6 (4 children ages 11-14) and went on this 4-hour walking tour of the colosseum and forum with Marco. We have to say that he was the most amazing guide that we have ever had anywhere in the world. Truly spectacular. We felt as if he was our best friend and have known him for years!! He was so engaging and excited about everything and really took the time to include all of us in The experience. We even invited him to the states to come stay with us!! You MUST request Marco for this tour.

      Excellent
Our guide was super friendly and went the extra mile to involve four kids (aged 9 to 13). Even when we had to cut our excursion somewhat short due to rain and a latter appointment she absolutly give it her best effort. For the adults the whole experience was effortless.

Europe4Kids lives up to the name!
We took two private tours with Europe4Kids and the experience was absolutely fantastic. The guides were super engaging with our kids and also made sure to make the tour interesting for the parents. I would recommend these tours without hesitation and look forward to my next tour!

Perfect for keeping young kids entertained!
Our Vatican scavenger hunt tour was absolutely fantastic! Cinzia was so kind and patient with my shy six year old and actually got her to open up and chat. We explored some quieter areas of the Vatican museums that I didn’t know existed and it was really nice having Cinzia show us the fastest ways to get around the crowds. My daughter LOVED the scavenger hunt part - it kept her entertained during a tour that could otherwise be a bit boring for a young child, which was our hope! Cinzia is incredibly knowledgeable and my daughter, a history lover, learned a LOT (I did too)! We would absolutely do this tour again and will recommend it to everyone we know.

      Highly recommended tours for families
My family recently visited Rome and had the lovely experience to visit the Vatican and the Colosseum with Rome4KidsTours. Their guides Leena and Yanira were fantastic! They managed to captivate and engage the whole family throughout the tours duration making it a very meaningful and memorable experience. We highly recommend both tours. The company was very professional and responsive to all our questions, and the guides were very knowledgeable and charismatic with a special ability to connect with both our children catering to their interests while teaching them so many things about the history in Rome. Very interesting!

Nice guide but upgrade the scavenger hunt
The tour was wonderful. The guide was kinda sweet to the children and included them in all Of the teachings. We were grateful for the guide. I was a little disappointed the scavenger hunt that is promoted was very lack luster. A simple upgrade to this could have kept My children's interest more.
