Etienne was very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. He conducted the tour very professionally, patiently explain important aspects of the places we visited.

The guide was very informative. Easy to understand. He made many interesting points. Went with another our so we were able to ask questions.

This was a real shame, we turned up with plenty of time to go at ten to 6, when we were told the tour would start at 6 from Piazza di San Marco. We couldn’t see anyone there gathering a group together, but another couple was also booked on the tour and trying to find it. After ten minutes they whatsapped and called the company, but couldn’t get through, so they gave up and went away. At 20 past I called again and was told the 6pm tour left from Piazza de La Republica! I sent pictures to show that I had been sent the wrong starting point information, and was offered an alternative much later tour - but it was too late in the evening for us, and when I requested a refund I was turned down! This is most unfair as I (and the other couple) were clearly sent the wrong starting point information for the 6pm tour! Not good practice - when you make a mistake you should own it and offer a refund!

The tour guide, Carolina, was fantastic! Despite the hot weather, she made it very pleasant. She is very knowledgeable Highly recommended!

Tour was very informative and interesting with lots of tips about local places. If you don't want a small amount of people on your tour, don't book the 3pm one though as it was dead!

We waited for 45 minutes at Barberini Piazza for the tour guide. It was very confusing as there were several other tour groups forming…but not ours. We waited, with about 30 others, near the fountain (as instructed in the directions). Someone finally came, about 10 minutes late (at 9:40a) and gathered all of us together. We were divided up, and told to stand in line. (See photo) Once we reached the front of the line, we were told it wasn’t our tour! We were left standing in the hot sun, all by ourselves, with no tour to go on!! This is a very poorly-managed tour company and in addition, Viator would not give us a refund. While it wasn’t a lot of money we paid, it doesn’t matter — we did NOT RECEIVE what we paid for. Check out other reviews and do some investigating. I’m not happy, as this was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for our teenage grandson. It was not a great introduction to Rome for him, or us!!

We had a lovely tour with our female Russian tour guide who was very knowledgeable and had a great time. We saw lots of Rome and learnt lots.

Not a very good tour. I don't recommend it. The tour guide showed up at the exact time the tour was supposed to start and started the tour late, hoping more people would show up. There were only 3 of us in the tour. There were very long periods of silence while walking to the next place he brought us. He did not explain things very well and was not personable. Not recommended

If you are lucky enough to get Vlata you will have a great time. She is so sweet and knowledgeable. The tour was a comfortable pace for age 11 to 73. We covered a lot and ended at Vatican City the highlight for those who had not managed to see it in the day but after that everyone in our group of 12 wanted to go to St Peters Basilica. I had gone at4 earlier that day on a Tuesday the security line was only 20 people and we walked right in the church. A service started it was amazing. Anyways tip her well she deserves it !

Perfect tour for our first day in Rome. Our guide was great and we saw many of the important sites. Perfect for teens & adults. We were surprised how many things we could see in one morning. Great orientation to Roman history as well.

Good but not great - like everything, it depends on the tour guide and our tour guide was not brilliant. But, you get what you pay for so I can't complain too much. The tour only covers a few different places....so its not an extensive tour of the full city....but its definitely useful to get your bearings when you arrive in the city. You could walk and see all the sites for free yourself.....but I think its always great to have a little bit of history and a little bit of context from a local guide, it really enhances the visitor experience.

Friendly guide. Extensive knowledge. Very affordable price. An hour would passed without even you notice! Very recommended!

Anna was lovely, very knowledgeable and flexible, offering us to alter the route if we wanted. It was wonderful to learn about the art history of the sites, and understand the choices the artist made, back in the day. A great experience.

Camila was a lovely guide, very passionate about the city and enthusiast to share her knowledge. It was a really pleasant experience being accompanied by her in Rome. Slowly unfolding with Camila ita subtle mysteries. 100% recommend !
