The Guide was great, very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about the history of Rome. We enjoyed his stories. He made the waiting time not seem like we were waiting

We had the most incredible Tour with Alessandro! As a historian he was able to paint a picture of what a day was like in the ancient world. We learned a ton and he even threw in a few jokes. The experience couldnt have been better!

Alleasandro was an excellent tour guide for our trip around the Colleseum, forum etc. He was professional, knowledgeable and very efficient with little injections of humour just when needed. We would highly recommend .

Our tour guide was great and kept us entertained the whole tour. The only downfall was that our reservation was moved from 1:15 to 1:45 and no one bothered to tell us. We were waiting over 30 mins after checking in and it wasn’t until I asked that I was informed the tour time changed. We were very hungry and would have had time to get food if we had known about the change. I did receive an email stating that the time had changed, however the email came hours after the tour was completed.

Gina was incredible! She brought the Forum and Colosseum to life. She answered all questions and had such energy. Can’t recommend this enough. Please remember ID for kids!!

If I could, I would rate this tour with zero stars. The tour guide really wasted our time discussing minutia about the artifacts and areas of the forum. Instead of looking at all the areas of the forum he spent 15 minutes on each section, and he gave very detailed explanations about aspects forum that were meaning less. There were 24 people on the tour and virtually everyone on the tour was equally disappointed. They were all complaining. The guide kept complaining about how tired he was, and he was losing weight from the heat. To make matters worse when we got to the best part of the tour at the Colosseum the Colosseum entry was temporarily closed. The line never moved, and we did not get into the Colosseum as the Colosseum was closing in 45 minutes. I paid for 8 people total of 826.00. It was a complete waste of money, and the worst part was that we were not able to see one of the best attractions in Rome and we are not able to go back. I think we deserve a refund either partial or full.

We thoroughly enjoyed Laura's tour. She was very clear, fun and her enthusiasm for the subject was infectious. The pace was excellent and she had a knack for avoiding any of the annoying detours. She was clearly very knowledgeable and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Initially we booked the sunset visit of the Colosseum. Initially very disappointed to hear that the tour was cancelled and replaced with an afternoon visit combined with Forum Romanum. And then we met our guide Elida! She guided us through the Colosseum. She made it come alive. She made us feel as if we were watching the games 2000 years ago as one of the 70.000 spectators. And then we moved to the Forum Romanum where she impressed us with her vast knowledge and historical perspective. Thank you Elida!

I’m not a person who writes reviews typically buuut this time I had an awful experience for spending almost 150 boxes. The tour guide English accent was not clear and easy to understand and she was like she didn’t have enough energy or motivation to explain things to us. It was more like a painful duty that she was supposed to get it done as soon as possible. Also, she treated us very rude abs badly when we asked questions. No one in our group seemed happy when the tour was over. I had another guided tour in Pompeii the day before and it was super good. This one, was unfortunately 100 percent opposite. At the end of the tour other groups were seem so excited and cheer their tour guid happily but in our group, everyone was like board, unhappy and confused. We asked at the middle of the tour from other people if they understood what the tour guide is saying but others were clueless as well… Overall, I do not recommend this and if I come back again, I will watch a good documentary beforehand or get another tour. Totally wasted my money.

This was such an amazing tour. We didn’t feel rushed and our guide Laura A. was SO knowledgeable about all the sites. She was a true storyteller. The sites themselves weren’t too crowded compared to others and the skip the line is well worth it. Bring a reusable water bottle to fill up along the way.

Amazing tour, Laura Antonucci was a fantastic guide and highly engaging with a ton of knowledge. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We visited Rome for a few days. Looking for something different to do I came across Freetour.com who did a "Murder mystery Who Killed Caravaggio". The Tour was led by Joey, who hails from Tipperary, In Ireland. A great personality and he was able to deliver a great experience for his guests and at the same time visit 5/6 of the great paintings of Caravaggio. Well worth seeking this out and enjoying 2-2.5 hours walking in Rome in the evening.

Our tour of the Roman Forum & Colosseum was amazing. We had the best tour guide I have ever experienced. Laura was passionate, informative & funny. She really made it a very special experience that we will remember for ever.

They were 45 minutes late to start, it was supposed to be a small group. It was 40 people. The cost was $447 for five people and we couldn’t understand the English at all. I would just get a ticket at the door and look around yourself. Absolute waste of money.

Our tour guide Diego was very, VERY knowledgeable, passionate and entertaining!!! He made the experience super fun!!
