Maria was the best tour guide we had all week. She is knowledgeable, engaging, and fun. My kids were excited and actively participated throughout the entire visit. We all left with an increased love of mythology....even my 14 year old who has devoured all information she can find on mythology since she was 9.

We did this tour with our 3 boys, ages 10, 8, 5. It was our first proper museum experience and this family oriented tour kept the boys engaged for the entire 2.5 hours. Our boys know a fair bit about the gods from their Rick Riordan readings so this tour felt very appropriate. I'm not sure if I would do it without that background knowledge considering how pricey the tour was. That being said, I am very glad we did it. We ended up being the only family on the tour and our tour guide, Allesandra, had lots of expertise in the area and was lovely with the kids

Our two boys, having avidly read the Percy Jackson series, were very excited to explore and see the 'real' sources of the stories, and had an absolutely wonderful time exploring what is probably the most beautiful (and quieter) museums of Rome. Our guide was a font of knowledge and despite our mess-up on the timing was absolutely accommodating and understanding and providing insights and fun games and activities from our deep knowledge and passion for the history and items. We ended the tour with panoramic views of the forum and Colosseum from the museum (the best view in the city!) and feeling like we had really gained an insight into the city and it's amazing history!

This was my kids absolute favorite activity we did in Rome. My son has read all the books so when I heard about it I figured it was worth a try. This was a basically private tour of the Capitoline museums. I had never been and I was surprised by how much my husband and I also enjoyed this tour. A must if you have a child who likes Percy Jackson. But even my younger son who hasn’t read the books was completely engaged the entire time. I would recommend this tour to anyone with kids. Alex is phenomenal!! So engaging and personable! She made the whole tour into a game. But we learned so much at the same time. It was really one of the best experiences in Rome. No question.

My 10-year old son thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Valeria was amazing and kept him interested and involved. He would have been bored if we had just taken him to the museum, but Valeria brought it to life and he learned so much!
