About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 970terryi0 contributionsDo not use this companyHead phones broke for both me and the wife 2 minutes into the tour and the guide only had one set spare so I spent the whole time walking around following the group trying to listen to what was being said, by doing this I sort of missed out on actually seeing anything and couldn’t really hear the guide anyway. Half the tour was missed out because we ran out of time. They just don’t give themselves enough time to do everything they claim to do on the description. Once in to colosseum even the people who were lucky enough to still have a working headset couldn’t hear the guide due to the noise and only having one earpiece if even still worked. The only reason I didn’t give them a 1 star review was because of our guild, she was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely NOT Recommend this trip to anyone. Complete waste of time and money.Written February 7, 2025

- Scenic619297386050 contributionsGood tourTour was excellent, guide knowledgeable and friendly, meeting point easy to find - skipped long queues . best tour we took in Rome. Vatican museum and sistene chapel lovely although it’s important to note this does not include Raphael’s apartments and St Peter’s is not included in tour but you visit at the endWritten February 7, 2025
- arnoldoc9030 contributionsBe AwareTour wasnt to bad, but i had reserved at 9am. They changed the tour last minute to 12pm, which made me not finish it because i had another tour set at 2pm. They told me that there was no money back hecause it said in small letters that the tour could change hours.Written February 6, 2025

- stevenkV5628ZU0 contributionsMaximo the tour guideMe and my partner decided to take a tour whilst in Rome, as we weren't entirely sure how to approach the general Colosseum area. We booked in and proceeded to the designated meeting place - we were signed off and given listening devices to use for the duration of the tour. Our tour guide Maximo was fantastic, very friendly and kept the tour at a very natural pace. We had a few people who struggled to keep up as there is alot of steps involved and he made a point of ensuring that we all stayed together. Maximo's knowledge and sense of humour really shined and it was a pleasure listening to him talk about the history of the Forum and Colosseum. Unfortunately I have knocked a star as we received a message on whatsapp changing the time (we did not see this as generally keep data off in foreign countries unless connected to Wifi) so we were a little frustrated at first with having to wait around longer on the tour starting, however this wasn't a huge issue. Thank you again Maximo for a wonderful tour.Written February 3, 2025
- Joy R0 contributionsProfessional, knowledgeable tour company - not rushed, very knowledgeableI would highly recommend this tour company for their professionalism and the quality of our guide. Ihave done Vatican tours in the past, and was disappointed in the experience. I almost didn’t book a tour this time around because I was concerned about being rushed through with minimal detail. But, I thought I’d give it another chance. My friend and I booked with this tour company and I am so glad. Our guide Francesco was a delight - he was so knowledgeable and friendly! He kept the group together while pointing out individual details I never would have noticed on my own. He took extra time to explain the Sistine Chapel before we entered, so I felt I really knew the history once we got there and weren’t allowed to talk. He was an expert in navigating the lines and ensuring everyone had what they needed. You won’t regret choosing this company for your one chance to see the Vatican.Written February 3, 2025

- lizm06p0 contributionsA lot of money for not really anything.Save money book directly with the museum and Chapel. The Basilica is free of charge. The day before I was moved to an earlier time which was fine. But save your money and book directly with the museum. They literally just walked us into the museum and the museum guide did the tour for the museum ONLY. She was very good but it should be noted she is a museum employee. You will be on your own for the Sixtine chapel no tour guide or explanation of that. Basilica, which is free of charge is also without a guide. The audio tour and ticket from the museum itself would have saved me ALOT of money and in retrospect would’ve been a much better experience as it would’ve allowed for us to stop and enjoy some of the art that we rushed past.Written January 28, 2025
- JaneA6500 contributionsNo thought for disabledNo thoughts for disabled guests …. Very rude no explanation of alternative route to steps ie lifts …. Just poor this is skip the line but it does not say you’ll be frogmarched around by a tour guide with no thought for a disabled guestWritten January 28, 2025
- D9000XEpanosk0 contributionsGreat visit, great guideWhat made this special was tour guide Roberta, who was at once friendly, informative, attentive to group needs, and concise. She deserves honors as a top tour guide. Visiting the Sistine Chapel was of course amazing, and the view of the Papal palace impressive.Written January 27, 2025
- jktrock0 contributionsGreat experienceBreathtaking. It’s history. All I can say. We bought tickets on the official site. Visited Colosseum first then Roman Forum. Didn’t have audio guides but used Rick Steve’s Pocket Guide to Rome. Excellent commentary and it was super informative for Roman Forum, even kids got it.Written January 16, 2025
- 140kieranh0 contributionsSuperb tour and attractionFirst time doing a guided tour as I like history but I didn’t think I was a museum kind of person, but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, Laura Antonucci our tour guide had truly exceptional knowledge from start to finish, and told us story after story to make the tour so fascinating! We are really glad we opted for a guided tour and I really think it’s the only way I will visit popular historical sites in future. Thank you Laura. Brilliant! As for the colosseum. It’s a must see. Outside is great, but if you really want to understand the history and get some prime photo opportunities then pay the extra for the tour (which I also think is really good value). We went on the most amazing walking tour with Chiara. Insightful, kind, intelligent, and wildly knowledgeable, it was some of the best time we had in Rome! A must!
