About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- KristenD4890 contributionsPerfect way to see Rome!Robbie (or maybe his name was Robin?) was an incredible Tuk Tuk driver and tour guide for our family’s first trip to Rome. His knowledge of Roman history and ability to navigate a very busy city on Easter no less made our trip super informative and efficient. We hit all the highlights and he even took us to a view viewpoints at the top of the city to gain that perspective. Highly recommend this guide and experience!Written April 1, 2024
- 123avaj0 contributionsPerfect tuk tuk tour in RomePerfect tour! Eco-friendly and safe. We booked the 6am tour and saw the highlights. An experience that we recommend to anyoneWritten November 2, 2023

- fabianad8300 contributionsRome E-Tuk Private ToursAn amazing tour! ideal for getting to know many many places related to the art, history and culture of Rome. The initiative to create an ecological tour that safeguards the environment is fascinating. The audio guide worked great! The driver was very nice and this electric tuk tuk made us feel safe. If the penny worked, we will come back soon and do this tour again.Written October 30, 2023
- kathleenlF7464FE0 contributionsAn amazing experience in TuscanyWe highly recommend this memorable, well-organized tour with Pierpaolo our driver and Matteo our guide for the day. The itinerary was varied; a nice combination of walking, history, fine wine and cuisine. The scenery is beautiful and we want to return. Every member of our group thoroughly enjoyed the day in Tuscany!Written February 9, 2020
- Cheech80800 contributionsGreat way to see two great places in one dayWe had a great time on this tour. We were picked up at 7AM at our hotel by our guide Bruno and our driver Marizio. After a quick stop to pick up another family at their hotel we were off to Pompeii. We had a very comfortable van and after a quick stop for a bite for breakfast, we were there. We were introduced to our local expert Pompeii guide and she took us through the ruins. I cannot say enough how valuable having a guide here was. Sure you can walk around and look at stuff but without a guide you wont know what your seeing. We were giving tons of info on everything Pompeii, without being overloaded or bored. Our second stop was the Amalfi coast. I'll warn you now, the ride is not for the faint of heart. The roads are very tight and basically along a cliff the whole way. It didnt bother me but if your a little squeemish be aware. The thing is, unless your going by boat, theres no other way to get there. All that being said, the views are breathtaking and the towns and surrounding areas are gorgeous. After parking, Bruno took us through the towns and we stopped for lunch at a seaside restuarant. The food and the view were amazing. After lunch we did some more browsing through the town and then hopped back in the van for the ride back. Again, its a beautiful but somewhat harrowing ride back up the cliff. When we got to the top we were lucky enough to get a cliffside view of the sunset that made the cliff hanging totally worth it!.We then passed through a top of the mountain town that i didnt get the name of but was really beautifully decorated for Christmas. We then settled in for the ride back and Marizio expertly handled that van like he was driving a Ferrari! In conclusion it was a great day. I think the Amalfi coast could take a que from Cinque Terre and blast through the mountain somewhere so trains can get you there without the cliff hugging car ride. Again, if heights do not bother you its nothing, if they do,just relax with Marizio behind the wheel because its well worth seeing the area. Our next trip there we will definitely go in a little warmer weather and spend a few days to see everything leisurely.Written February 2, 2020
- jenniferfQ7142AI0 contributionsfamily day tripWe had a private car for our family. The driver, Walter, and assistant, Katrina, were wonderful. She made a reservation for us for lunch in the perfect place with a corner table surrounded by windows to the sea. Our guide, Lilly, was AMAZING!Written January 9, 2020
- Climber7565640 contributionsIntimate group tourMy Husband and I got picked up by our guide and driver at our hotel. We drove in a lovely van to Pompeii and toured with a private guide who was lovely abc very funny. We then drove to the Amalfi coast and saw Positano and Sorrento and later Amalfi Town.We had a lovely lunch in Positano but didn’t have a lot of options because it was the down season and a lot of shops and restaurants were closed.Food was good and the beach was empty because it was about 40 degrees. The coast was beautiful but I almost had a heart attack driving form the coast and I wasn’t even driving. The only thing I would recommend is that the guide in The car get a microphone because she had a really soft voice and none of could understand what she was saying.Written December 8, 2019
- Fred E0 contributionsGreat itineraryThe trip to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast was a great outing. The private tour in Pompeii was excellent and we wish it had been a bit longer. Weather was great and we had a wonderful lunch on the beachWritten November 6, 2019
- Madhu B0 contributionsAmalfi/Pompei/PositanoWe had a great time. Amazing day trip and very prompt pick up from our hotel Morgana. Would have preferred Mercedes van since there were a lot of them versus the Opal van which we drove in. Sorry! I don’t remember the driver and the guide’ names but overall an awesome experience. Thanks,Written August 7, 2019

- family0680 contributionsFlorence from RomeOur family and friends booked this tour through Viator. We had a great day. Guliana was a friendly, courteous, ambassador of Rome! She went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. She provided us with great stories and gave us wonderful information about our surroundings. We enjoyed our hoist of Florence and seeing the David - which was our focus! Amazing! Our tour guide was knowledgeable- I don’t remember her name... would definitely book again.Written February 23, 2019
- Sandra H0 contributionsA perfect day with great companyMy daughter and I recently booked a day trip to SAN Gimignano and Siena from Rome expecting to be two in a small group. However we were pleasantly surprised to find we were the only two on a private day trip with Bobbi our driver and Giuliana our guide for the day. An amazing day was had by all exploring hidden treasures with Giuliana. We also spent time at Tenuta Torciano sampling their wines and truffle infused oil with our lunch. Giuliana is a wonderful guide and we are now friends on Facebook. I would recommend spending a day with Bobbi and Giuliana if you’re given the chance. You will not find two more accommodating and fun people to spend a day with in Tuscany.Written January 19, 2019
- Robert L0 contributionsThe tour was remarkableI booked the tour through Viator ref. 656059140, guided by Giuliana and Marcella. They were so professional that the trip were not only educational to me, it was full of fun, not boring at all. They made me laugh at the right time and the right place. They deserve my 5 stars, if there is 6 stars, I will go for it.Written October 8, 2018
- Sharifah N0 contributionsAwesome tourI went for this tour with my husband. A really good tour which went to the best places in Pompeii and Amalfi Coast. Positano was beautiful! Giuliana was a very professional and friendly tour guide. Our driver Massimo was also very nice and helped us get umbrellas when it was raining. They also brought us to a romantic restaurant and chose the best seats for us. Very personalised trip and polite people who treated us very well. The tour guide in Pompeii was also very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended tour!Written June 26, 2018

Not sure if it was because we were the only two who booked that day or if it's normal procedure, but we were picked up by car (very comfortable, air conditioned). that was an unexpected comfort to say the least. Our driver was lovely. He called to say he was on his way and even picked us up closer to our hotel than the original spot. we also had a private guide in Pompeii. being that there were only 2 of us, we got to skip a couple of queues, which was invaluable. our guide was a Neopolitan archeologist so was very knowledgeable about the site, history and many details. we enjoyed that and learnt a lot. in all honesty, the pizzeria where we were booked for lunch was ok, but nothing special. i've had much better pizza at home. our driver then walked us round thee centre, through Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and piazza del Plebiscito. He asked us if we wanted to have some time to ourselves to go around, but the Pompeii sweltering sun had worn us out. we asked him if it would be ok to just drive around a little and head back to Rome, which he complied with. it was super to be able to tailor our visit to our needs so thank you all.
