We got there slightly early and our guide was immediately sharing her knowledge and experience of Rome and food. We were part of a small group of only 8-10. The tour itself I recommend 100%. From the information about food history in Rome to the information regards Italy and Rome specifically it was fantastic.

The tour was suitable for all ages although there was a fair bit of walking as you’d expect. We found places and learnt things we would never have picked up without the guide. We left full too, with all sorts of foods, a beer and a glass of wine (at 12 noon 🤣).

Highly recommend this company and this tour.

This was one of three walking tours I took in my 3-day visit. Our guide Natasha was very friendly and insightful who really loves the city she lives in and its deep history. Compared with other tours, the tour took us to the "ordinary life" side of the city with her choice of good daily food we enjoyed along the way. It is highly recommended for travelers who love eating and those interested in knowing Rome through food, as it is a kind of difficult for a first-time visitor like me to spot a good eating place.

We booked this on our first day and had a great tour guide in Fabio who had good knowledge of the area and so found out a lot about the history of Rome as well as getting to know the neighborhood. Started in the market square of Campo Di Fiori where we sampled sauces, olive oil and Lemoncello. We then went walking around the city for about two hours tasting everything from Pizza, Pasta, cakes and Gelato. There were only four people in the tour which made it even better and certainly no shortage of food, overall an excellent tour that I would highly recommend.

I took this tour in March 2022. Our guide Mattia was fantastic and very accommodating. Not only did we eat some delicious food, we also learned some interesting history about parts of the city that you wouldn't know from just walking around yourself.

Although I really enjoyed my tour and the food was delicious, the price is quite expensive for the food you do actually get.

Having said this, I'd take this tour again in a heartbeat if the price was lower or more food stops were included.

Really enjoyed this, gives you a real insight into the origins of the wonderful food Rome has to offer & you get to taste many of the different delacies. Mattius our Guide was extremely knowledgeable as well as being patient & taking his time explain things to us. It was great getting to understand the origins of all the different foods we tried as well as this we stopped off at some very interesting historical places on the way which we would have missed if we'd been on our own,Great trip would thoroughly recommend!

Very nice tour hosted by Ruggero. Started at Campo de’ Fiori with tasting Italian specialties and finished with amazing gelato at Piazza di S. Eustachio. In 3 hours Ruggero shared a mix of information on the history of Rome, specifics on the areas we visited and stories about the Italian and Roman cuisine. This is really a very nice way to learn a bit more about the culture, the city and the food in a relative short time.

We got lost on our way to the market square so we’re a little late to start. Thankfully we were the only people on the tour so didn’t hold others up. Despite this we had a fantastic time. The guide, Roger, was informative, passionate and very interesting. He was also brilliant with our 12 year old with learning difficulties who also loved the tour. The food we got to taste was great, and the history was great. Don’t miss this tour and do make it at the start of your trip so you know what to eat the rest of your stay - and where to find it!
There were four of us from 12 - 60 and all of us really enjoyed it- thank you Roger!

We were met by Simone and once we’d said hello and introduced ourselves to the rest of the group we were straight in to the tour. There was just 7 of us in our group which is apparently on the smaller size but it worked perfectly for us all.
We spent the most wonderful 3hrs strolling round an area of Rome we’d never visited before and thanks to Simone’s knowledge became fully immersed in not only food, but history as well
From pesto to gelato to Ancient Rome to the 2nd World War ... this tour had it all and you will leave the tour feeling fuller in many levels with a true understanding as to why Rome is like a lasagna !
Thank you Simone, you made the tour and this was most definitely a highlight of our trip and we can’t recommend it enough !!

The tour guide was very sweet, flexible, and knowledgeable. The food was diverse and delicious. On the day/time of the tour it was pouring rain which affected the overall experience and getting wet. We should have rescheduled. But I still loved it.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our time with Mattia, our tour guide, during a ~3 hour food tour of Rome today.

His enthusiasm, knowledge and background made him the perfect guide. We were able to experience not only fantastic food - but the stories behind the food which made it all that more interesting.

Great content, great guide and GREAT food!

Highly recommended.
