    Fantastic Private Experience!
My wife and I took the private, Fast Access Entrance to Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter Basilica tour with Donato A. and could not have been happier! Donato's passion, knowledge of intimate details, love for the place, and helpfulness came through at each stop and with each display. The tour was well thought out, organized, and perfectly allowed us to take in all of the beautiful sites and learn more of the history - without long waits in line. The private aspect gave us more options and flexibility and we really enjoyed the 1:1 discussions. 10/10 - Definitely recommended!

The Must Do Rome Food Tour
Our guide, Andrea, was very knowledgeable about the area. He pointed out historical details which we would not have noticed if simply walking around the district. We shared our food and guided experience in a group of about ten chatty people. We have many happy memories of the evening which included simple street food, sit down courses and the wonderful snack pizza take away, just choose the size of your slices from rectangular pizzas. We also picked up on this idea after a late evening opera visit. Lovely! Thank you Andrea and the foodie team! Then there was the gelato - of course!

    Amazing Experience
What a wonderful experience this was. Tasting different food and visiting places that you might never have seen. Wine was mostly house wine which was beautiful. Tour guide was excellent and the company was very accommodating when we had a problem with the date we had booked. Absolutely amazing.

Definitely book this tour! Claudia was wonderful!
We decided to book a kid friendly Colosseum tour for our family. We have an 8 and 3 year old. Claudia was our wonderful tour guide. She was engaging with the children and she also gave the adults a complete explanation as we were guided through the amazing colosseum. She made the experience so enjoyable for all of us! I highly recommend!

    Great tour and wonderful food.
I would definitely do this again and would recommend it to others visiting Rome. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and a pleasant person to tour with. Not only did we have delicious food and wine to sample, but learned so much on the tour. My husband was a little worried when our first stop to sample food was a fried artichoke. He thought he was going to be starving by the time the tour was over. That was definitely not the case. We were so full we couldn't find room to eat at the last stop. All of it was soooo good. Two thumbs up!

High expectations exceeded in every way. Do you have any
I was referred by a friend and came here with high expectations that were exceeded in every way. Our room was cleverly laid out and spacious with 2 tubs and 2 showers. I enjoyed the massive grounds in general and the amenities were spectacular. To top it all off the food and bar scene we’re almost serene. It’s a definite one of a kind experience, but this will not be my last visit and my thanks to a wonderful staff, it makes all the difference.

I took this tour in March 2022. Our guide Mattia was fantastic and very accommodating. Not only did we eat some delicious food, we also learned some interesting history about parts of the city that you wouldn't know from just walking around yourself.

Although I really enjoyed my tour and the food was delicious, the price is quite expensive for the food you do actually get.

Having said this, I'd take this tour again in a heartbeat if the price was lower or more food stops were included.

The food tour was a great start into our trip to Rome! I always wanted go to a food tour so I was very excited. And luckily I was very pleased!! Our guide, Arianna, was AMAZING! She was very kind, amusing and energetic. It was very interesting to listen to her and we we're very happy to hear some of her family stories and insiders of Rome. We had a great variety of food and drinks, accompanied by some background information about it.
Unfortunately time just flew by but at the end she gave us same additional restaurant tips!
Lastly, I would recommend to do the tour at the beginning of your trip as well, because that way you not only get some food Inspos and food spots recommendations for the next days but also a small tour through the city with a local (for orientation).
Thank you, Arianna! 🥰 (We saw so many other Madonnellas and had to think about you! 😅

Alice/Alicia (I believe it's pronounced Ali-che) went above and beyond. It was a great environment she showed us some hole in the wall(s) that We would have had some trouble finding, had excellent knowledge of the food in general as well as excellent knowledge about the history of the foods we ate. She exposed us to great wine and Roman cuisine, wrangled a bunch of drunk rambunctious adults with class (not easy) and when the night was over she emailed us with some more recommendations for the rest of our stay. She's amazing and went above and beyond.

*I won't post the screenshot or PDF of the places she recommended because I don't want to undercut her business but I highly recommend her.

We got lost on our way to the market square so we’re a little late to start. Thankfully we were the only people on the tour so didn’t hold others up. Despite this we had a fantastic time. The guide, Roger, was informative, passionate and very interesting. He was also brilliant with our 12 year old with learning difficulties who also loved the tour. The food we got to taste was great, and the history was great. Don’t miss this tour and do make it at the start of your trip so you know what to eat the rest of your stay - and where to find it!
There were four of us from 12 - 60 and all of us really enjoyed it- thank you Roger!

Our food tour was amazing! The guide was very friendly and made lots of jokes, finding enough time to tell us all about Rome's food history. The amount of food provided was just enough, not to little, not too much - and everything was soooooo tasty. Also and even despite we had a morning tour, some wine tasting was also included - which anyone on a vacation would appreciate, especially us :) Fully recommend!

This was one of three walking tours I took in my 3-day visit. Our guide Natasha was very friendly and insightful who really loves the city she lives in and its deep history. Compared with other tours, the tour took us to the "ordinary life" side of the city with her choice of good daily food we enjoyed along the way. It is highly recommended for travelers who love eating and those interested in knowing Rome through food, as it is a kind of difficult for a first-time visitor like me to spot a good eating place.

We got there slightly early and our guide was immediately sharing her knowledge and experience of Rome and food. We were part of a small group of only 8-10. The tour itself I recommend 100%. From the information about food history in Rome to the information regards Italy and Rome specifically it was fantastic.

The tour was suitable for all ages although there was a fair bit of walking as you’d expect. We found places and learnt things we would never have picked up without the guide. We left full too, with all sorts of foods, a beer and a glass of wine (at 12 noon 🤣).

Highly recommend this company and this tour.

Our guide, Monica was Fantastic! Not just a competent food tour guide, Monica shared a wealth of knowledge regarding the history and stories about the places surrounding the food tasting areas. Our sampling began with cured meats from a boutique salumeria paired with wine, introduction to the Campo de Fiori market, local Roman style pizza "al metro" and suppli , over to the Jewish quarter to enjoy local specialty deep fried artichoke, concluding with pure home made gelato from 30 year family run gelateria. Monica also gave us numerous local hints and tips to avoid tourist pitfalls and how to identify great eataries. Her local knowledge was rich, delivering anecdotes and historical facts effortlesly with her fun and engaging personality. Awesome Monica, thanks from the heart.

We were met by Simone and once we’d said hello and introduced ourselves to the rest of the group we were straight in to the tour. There was just 7 of us in our group which is apparently on the smaller size but it worked perfectly for us all.
We spent the most wonderful 3hrs strolling round an area of Rome we’d never visited before and thanks to Simone’s knowledge became fully immersed in not only food, but history as well
From pesto to gelato to Ancient Rome to the 2nd World War ... this tour had it all and you will leave the tour feeling fuller in many levels with a true understanding as to why Rome is like a lasagna !
Thank you Simone, you made the tour and this was most definitely a highlight of our trip and we can’t recommend it enough !!

Pretty cool tour, but not quite what I expected. There was a lot of confusion as to where to meet for my group. It just said the area, and me and my friends (not knowing the area) got to the meeting point about 10 minutes early and wandered all around the area asking if groups of people were the food tour, while restaurant workers tried to get us into their restaurants to eat. Just a heads up, the group meets at the statue.

We did not go into any restaurants since it was a street foods tour. It was also more of a snacks tour with a lot of great history sprinkled in. We tried 1-2 things from each place. We tasted food from 5 places and a couple of the places, our tour guide, Monica, asked some of us to help her to grab the food and we sat at a park to eat the food and drank beer.

Monica was amazing! She gave us so much detail and history and she kept the group super entertained. She even gave us tips on how to pick Italian restaurants and proper gelato places to eat at. Definitely recommended, but I’d come full or maybe eat something after the tour.
