I had an amazing time with Francesco my tour guide exploring the sights of Rome. Great guy, very knowledgeable! Not too expensive either, would definitely recommend to any first-time tourists.

A great first day in Rome
We had a great tour on our first day in Rome with Francesco. We covered all the important places in Rome, Coliseum, the Pantheon, the altar for the fatherland and he also took us to a great delicious local pizza place. It also allowed us to meet amazing people. We would definitely recommend

    All Around tour
Had an excellent experience yesterday on the All Around walking tour led by Francesco. He touched on the basics of the Coliseum, Pantheon, Forum, and everything in between, and proved to have a vast wealth of knowledge to answer any of our questions. I would have loved to go on a more in depth tour led by him.

    Walking tour with Francesco
Francesco was a really great guide! Thanks to him I know better the city and monuments of Rome! I just think that if the walking tour was a bit cheaper it would have been better. Maybe more people would have joined it. So maybe think about reduce the price. Thank you again.

    Really nice tour !
Very pleasant visit with Francesco. Ideal as an introduction for a few days in Rome with historical and cultural landmarks around the great monuments. The plus: personalised advice on where to get lost, where to eat, and free discussion.

    Free walking tour
We had a blast during the free walking tour; met some nice people, got some great historical stories about all the things we saw on our way and got some handy tips for our time in Rome. This tour of 1,5-2 hours was a great way to start our stay in Rome. Francesco is a nice dude and a great touring guide!

Great tours with Marco & Francesco
We had awesome tours with the yellow guides which where quite interesting. The „Walking though centuries“ tour with Francesco was a great tour to get an overview about the most important sights in Rome and introduce it’s historical backgrounds. It took about 2 1/2 hours. The „Sunset walk tour“ with Marco, was more about art history and more detailed in terms of the stories behind specific sights, while the chosen sights where a little more of the roads and more unfamiliar. The tour took 4 hours. Both are very recommendable and we enjoyed them very much. We felt very safe and when many people where around masks where worn by everybody. Rome is a little more laid back now during the pandemic and it’s a good time to enjoy the sights with less tourists.

Don't miss out on a tour with Marco
At then end of a long day my feet were tired and I needed rest, I nearly missed out on the sunset tour with Marco. Am glad i didn't the tour is easily one of the best I had ever taken, Marco is incredibly knowledgeable about even the smallest details and showed us the part of Rome that "3 day itinerarys" miss out. Seeing the objects and architecture are incredible but they are really brought alive by the stories and history surrounding them.

    Lovely tour
Francesco was a great guide with lots of information regarding the city and how to get around and survive. He discovered that we had already seen a few of the places on the tour earlier so he changed a few things for us, as we were the only people on the tour and took us to a church to look at all the art. Thanks for all the food and sight recommendations.

This was a very random experience.

On one hand it was great as we experienced the Roman way of thinking with the tour going on for 5 hours [we thought 2.5], meeting people from around the world, lots of wine etc

On the other hand, while we learnt to make pasta [ie the actual pasta] we had little involvement in the cooking of the sauce and filling as that was all done by the instructor [I use this term loosely] in the kitchen and we were not invited to join.

We learned near the end that the instructor was filling in which made sense as while he was very friendly and a good chef he was clearly making it all up as he went along.

So if you're wanting to learn how to cook this is not a class for you.

However if you want some fun and to meet like minded people in Roma, then go for it.

This was absolutely the worst experience we have had in Italy. If I could give a negative score I would. We started at 11:30 am and we didn’t eat until 4 pm. It was supposed to be a 4 hour hands on experience but it took over 5 hours. We were starving. It wasn’t hands on teaching at all and Marco was a bully, singled us out from the group, and made us feel like we didn’t deserve to be there. The market was a waste of time. We were told to just wait for Marco to finish shopping for 5 “Roman” minutes, the whole thing took an hour. Half the vendors were closed and it would have been nice to have a task or a purpose or even a tour when we arrived but we were left to our own devices. When we got to the kitchen Marco demonstrated how to create pasta without any patience or consideration. This was my first time making pasta and he made me feel like an idiot. At one point he took my pasta and threw it out. I began to tear up and he made fun of me.. The whole experience was about being in the moment and learning how to make pasta in Italy but it was very anxiety provoking and stressful. This was on my bucket list and I am utterly disappointed and upset. Would not recommend to anyone.

My sister and I had a fantastic time. Marco was an amazing host/ teacher. He gave instructions that were easy to understand and made sure we were doing the pasta the right way. Our pasta turned out great and it felt like an accomplishment that we made it on our own. Marco made pasta sauces for the meat lovers as well as the veggie lovers and it was delicious. It was such a fun day and I highly recommend booking with them when in Rome.

We learned how to make pasta in the most entertaining way possible - thanks to our chef Marco. Our group was big yet he still managed to teach all of us the basics and showed much patience when I tried to the tortellini shape.
Everyone with a basic understanding of English can attend this, its easy to follow and you certainly will have a good time here!

It was a lot of fun. The local market was interesting and a short walk away. After collecting ingredients we proceeded to make pasta, linguine, fettuccine, ravioli, tortellini etc. This was cooked in a relaxed group setting which was informal and informative. Well done Marco. He is very personable, fluent in English and Italian with excellent people skills Keep it up. Very enjoyable.

Absolutely amazing! We only had two days in Rome so we wanted to make the most of it and we figured we couldn’t go wrong with learning how to make pasta from scratch. The tips and hands on experience and guidance Marco provides is something you just can’t get any other way. He even took us to the market down the street to pick out our ingredients (and got some snacks to have while cooking). The wine he served was amazing too! This was the highlight of our time in Rome, you will not regret booking this class!

Chef Marco is beyond AMAZING! He is personable, funny, engaging, and a great Chef. My family of 4 had a wonderful time during the class - learned a ton, laughed a lot, and had a fantastic meal. Would give Marco 10 stars if that were an option - LOVED this experience!!

Marco was amazing, part chef part tour guide. Walking up to the market he was informing us of the local ruins and buildings. We had a quick walk through the market, as it was busy he went and got all the vegetables the Roman way (cutting the line). Once back at the kitchen he was very patient making sure we all made the pasta dough perfectly with enough violence. We all had a good chat while he prepared the other sauces. The pasta was pretty alright, but the sauces were amazing!!!

The entire activity was great and would do again if I ever came back to Rome.
Thank you Marco, from the Australian

A fantastic afternoon with Marco, laughing and learning the art of pasta. After a trip to the local market, where you can buy your own fresh produce or a cheap coffee, we returned to make pumpkin ravioli with butter-sage sauce and Bolognese. Marco was energetic and fun, and most importantly, a great host who kept the wine flowing. A brilliant end to our trip to Rome, thank you 😁

Marco has been amazing at teaching the italian way of making pasta and the sauces with his genuine and funny spirit. The walk to the market was very pleasant and we learned a lot about the Roman eating-culture. The glasses of wine and the (delicious) self-made pasta, made the whole event a great success. Grazie!
