- R6589IJsophieg0 contributionsColosseum with KidsIt was a really great experience! The children and we had such a great time at the Colosseum. Donatella really made it so nice and interesting. I can only recommend it with all my heart. We will definitely come back and do the Vatican tour. I have already recommended Rome4Kids and Europe4Kids to 2 friends and would do it again and again. A big thank you for the perfect organization and implementation!Written October 7, 2024
- GlobeTrotting2744610 contributionsAmazing! Our tour with Silvano was the highlight of our time in Rome, his knowledge was incredible and he really made it all come to life. He answered all our questions and my son loved sharing is own knowledge too. Husband and I also learnt a lot and everyone was engaged! Highly recommend. Rome4kids were also able to accommodate my last minute request for the tour! Very grateful.Written September 23, 2024
- 856kendrac0 contributionsFantastic tour of the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, and Palentine HillWe toured the coliseum with Marco! We were so impressed with Marco's knowledge about history and his passion for helping us have an unforgettable tour. He was fantastic and so full of excitement. We absolutely loved this tour!Written September 22, 2024
- 895garj0 contributionsUltimate Mythology Tour with SilvanoWe met Silvano in front of the Capitoline Museum. He was enthusiastic about Greco-Roman history from the first minute. We had the galleries to ourselves and Silvano shared his extensive knowledge of the museum, Roman history, and mythology. The kids were engaged from the first minute. He had answers to all of our questions and was so excited to share his knowledge. By the end of the tour, the children could read every sculpture and name every statue of a Greek/Roman god or goddess. We left wanting to study more and explore more of Rome with Silvano. He and this museum are absolute Roman Treasures. This tour is exceptional.Written September 13, 2024
- remay_120 contributionsHighly recommended tour for children to learn about Ancient RomeWith my two sons (aged 8 and 10) we did the Ancient Rome scavenger hunt with our amazing guide Cinzia. I would highly recommend this as a really engaging way to get kids learning about Ancient Rome. Despite very hot weather, Cinzia kept the boys interested and engaged all through the tour. We all had a fantastic time and learnt so much! Cinzia even helped us find our Metro stop after the tour.Written September 10, 2024
- 516kims0 contributionsExcellent tour of Rome!We did a combination tour of the Coliseum and Roman Forum and driving tour of the city. Vivi, our guide, was so patient with our large group and kids and provided a fun, educational tour of all sites. You get several kid friendly pamphlets about the sites but she also had additional books/materials which added to the tour experience, especially for the adults. I also appreciated that she tailored the tour to our group and what we were most interested in seeing and all of our pictures! After lots of walking, the air conditioned van was just what everyone needed. We all had a great time and highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Rome!Written September 9, 2024
- Molly C0 contributionsAmazing tour of RomeWe had a private tour with Serena and she was amazing. She made it fun for kids and had scavenger hunts etc. Our private driver did a great job and it was so nice not having to navigate the crowds and figure out where to go. Highly recommend.Written September 7, 2024
- JojoW02010 contributionsFantastic and informative guide to Rome for families!Viviana was such a fantastic tour guide. Her English was great (as our Italian isn't)! She took us to some unique places as well as all of the popular tourist spots in Rome and she was great with the kids- keeping things interesting and lively! Would 100% recommend her to any family visiting Rome with kids.Written September 2, 2024
- J L0 contributionsGolf Cart TourWe took the golf cart tour of Rome and it was amazing!! Our tour from another company was cancelled last minute and Rome 4 Kids came to the rescue. They planned the golf cart tour for us and we had the best time!! It was a great overview of the city. We stopped for amazing coffee and loved our guide!! Definitely a must for visiting Rome!Written September 2, 2024

- frankhY1115JZ0 contributionsBest day of my life. Period. My situation may be a bit unique and so of course I can't guarantee that it'll be the best day of anyone else's life, but I am so incredibly glad that I booked the Divine Race Vatican Tour for my 8 year old son and me. Our family has been undergoing alot of difficult changes this year, and I was really hoping that going to Italy for a week and doing something like taking my son on a tour of the Vatican and St. Peter's could at least provide him some happy memories of 2024 despite all the turmoil of the past year. I can confidently say that that goal was achieved. Andjelka, our tour guide, was terrific from start to finish. She clearly has alot of experience talking to and relating to young kids and built up an easy rapport with my son right away. Also, it was a really hot day (Rome in August, who knew?!) and Andjelka was careful to notice whenever my son might need a break. She also knew all the best areas of the museums to visit, was very informative (I learned quite a bit myself), and made it alot more interesting and fun for a kid (and me) then a traditional tour would have. At the end of the Vatican Museums tour, once we made it inside the Basilica, it was starting to get late in the afternoon but my son still wanted to climb to the top of the cupola. I was concerned about it closing soon for the day, but Andjelka took the extra effort (even though she was technically "done" with her work for us) to run over to some of the workers and have them assure us that the cupola would not be closed before we could get through the waiting line. My son had a wonderful day and I was so happy to see him happy, curious and enthusiastic to absorb the full experience of being in one of the most culturally and historically important places in the world. In spite of the heat and hours on our feet, Andjelka's efforts kept him engaged and energized to see and do as much as we could. It was definitely worth the money and we both will have memories to last a lifetime. Thank you!Written August 22, 2024
- Karineoz0 contributionsGreat pasta class for kids and adults alikeMy husband and daughter did a pasta making class for my daughter’s 10th birthday and she was absolutely delighted. Good mix of learning and making and a very enthusiastic teacher. We had also the option for the rest of the family to join for dinner at the end of the class which was really nice (the restaurant is also very good). I highly recommend it.Written August 19, 2024
- Gopher_Fan220 contributionsRome Golf Tour - FantasticFantastic golf tour! Driver and tour guide (Eleanor) were great. I’d highly recommend taking those tour in Rome with small children. Provides good opportunity to view the sites with minimal walking.Written July 27, 2024
- 780jaclyns0 contributionsFabulous experience - must do in Rome! The best way to see Rome in July when the sun is hot and the tourists are crowding the streets, especially with kids. We had the best time on our tour including the Colosseum. Very informative and fun. Both Viviana and our golf cart driver were so friendly and helpful. Viviana loves history and has so many interesting facts to share. Cannot recommend this more highly!Written July 24, 2024
- gowrik8150 contributionsIlaria was excellent - very engaging tourOur tour guide Ilaria was amazing! Very engaging, and gave the kids a lot of attention to ensure that they had a good time and also learnt something. When asked, the kids named the Colosseum tour (this one) as the best thing they did on our 10 day trip throughout Italy. Would highly recommend this tour and Ilaria.Written July 15, 2024

We took the scavenger hunt for children with an early bird option so that we would have fewer people; However, our guide took us to other areas first and we entered the museum at 10. Our guide was very friendly but I didn't think the tour was kid-friendly. I showed the children the images that they had to look for in the paintings or statues on a brochure and that were difficult to find because the museum was so full, so I immediately told them where to find them and gave them a brief explanation. It didn't help that the museum was so full because you only move forward as the sea of people does, worrying more about not losing your children and without having the opportunity to stop to observe and enjoy a painting or statue. Due to the price, I do not recommend taking this tour in busy months like August. We would have enjoyed an early bird with skip the line and audio guide more.

Our Rome 4 kids Tours tour of Rome with with tour guide, Raffaella, was absolutely AMAZING! Raffaella, gave us and our two kids, aged 7 and 10 the most wonderful experience of Rome. In the two days that we were in Rome, we all came away bubbling with fun, inspiration, history and knowledge. She gave us fun and informative tours of the Vatican and the city of Rome, including all the major sights.
My 10 year old says of our experience with Raffealla, "it was exciting and fun and we learned a lot of interesting stuff, I really liked the Sistine Chapel paintings, they were really good! Raffaella was really nice and she knew what she was talking about!" My 7 year old says of the tour, "I liked how she was really kind and showed us what everything meant, and I really liked the treasure hunt she gave us, it was really really fun."
I would highly recommend this tour and tour guide Raffaella to anyone going to Rome, with kids, or no kids, for an immersive, highly knowledgeable and fun experience!!! I highly highly recommend this tour!!! Thank you Rafaella and Rome 4 kids tour company for making our experience in Rome so memorable!

Communication with the organization team is very quick, efficient and easy. They will taylor your visit to your wishes and provide options and suggestions.
Tomaso was our guide for the Vatican Tour. He was very kind and nice with the kids. He was able to adapt himself to the level of our children (4 & 6). He managed to captivate them during the 2,5 hour tour. He was also able to give us very interesting information and answer our questions. We highly recommend Tomaso for the Vatican visit.
The tour goes through the Roman and Greek statuary, the Belvedere Courtyard, the gallery of maps and the Sistine Chapel.
One thing we wish we had done is stay in the Vatican after the tour ended to see a few more things like the Pinacoteca and the modern religious art.

This tour was beyond amazing for our family of seven. Our kids are 8 and 10 years old and they were so engaged by our wonderful tour guide Donatella. For starters, you do skip this huge line and get into the Vatican museum like you are a VIP, which is critical when traveling with kids in the middle of the summer when the rest of the world is also traveling! My kids were so engaged by the tour, so many good props to help tell the stories which kept my kids captivated. Funny enough, all the rest of us adults also thoroughly enjoyed the stories. I would not do Europe any other way with kids.

We met our guide at the Vatican entrance and proceeded inside. He engaged the children throughout the tour and even the adults learnt a lot. We were traveling with young children and I highly recommend this tour as it kept them engaged until the end. At the end we were dropped off at the steps of St Peter’s. We did the afternoon tour and this was a good choice as the crowds were less. It was also magical to see the square lit up at night.

Our family had our best Vatican Museum experience to date with our kind and highly informed guide, Antonella! She became a fun, nonna (grandmother) figure to our young sons right away, who didn't want to see her go at the end. Her storytelling was super interesting for both the adults and children. She wanted us to understand what we were seeing and not just say 'Wow' and rush by. Our 4 year-old really loved the challenge she presented of finding as many keys to the Vatican as he could throughout the tour, first explaining the history and significance of this frequently recurring symbol. When the tour was finished, she recommended an awesome lunch spot walking distance from the Vatican that was delicious and authentic.

We booked the family tour (2 adults and two kids 6 and 9) online and the process was done quickly, we received a detailed email about what to expect and what to prepare with exact detail about meeting points.
The tour itself was amazing, our lovely guide Ilaria arrived to the meeting point few minutes ahead, and very quickly we found our self's inside the Vatican after skipping all the lines.
Ilaria shared with us a lot of information during the tour and was very kind and patient with the kids. we made great memories as a family and we differently recommend it.

Thank you very much for this rave review! The Vatican Museums visit is not that easy with kids unless you get a great guide who makes it FUN and engaging! Our Customer Care Team and Ilaria are so grateful for your feedback. We are so glad that you had a great time with us. See you again in one of our European destinations. Grazie mille!

I highly recommend Rome for kids tours because history can be very dry and boring for kids. Rome for kids figured out a way to get my 3 kids listening and participating for 3 hours. The scavenger hunt was great! As a matter of fact, Rome is now their favorite city in the world! Also us adults enjoyed the tour and got lots of interesting information, even though we had visited the Vatican before.

Hello to the Uruguay/Austria team, Thank you so much for taking time to write this beautiful review. It was a true pleasure taking your beautiful family around a deserted Vatican and an empty Colosseum and Roman Forum. It is a special time and 'Chapeau' that you take your family on trips while the world is holding its breath to see what's next. Cristina, your guide for the Uffizi Detective Art Hunt loved her time with you, too! You were about the last lucky people in it before the museums were all shut down.
See you again somewhere in Rome, Italy or Europe in the future. Travel safely.

Our kids are still talking about the scavenger hunt at the Vatican! Marcello was an absolutely amazing guide with an encyclopedic knowledge of history and culture. Our boys (ages 7 and 9) were captivated and continue to bring up things they learned. I especially appreciated how Marcello noticed their interest in some of the more military aspects of the tour and made sure to point out the guards and other relevant facts. I would highly, highly recommend the tour and Marcello especially!
