Overview
Explore the highlights of the Vatican Museums on this specially tailored 2.5-hour tour for families with children. A scavenger hunt helps to engage visitors of all ages in the art and history of the collection, including the Sistine Chapel.
Highlights
  • Entertain and educate the kids in the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel
  • Enjoy scavenger hunts, games, and stories tailor-made for families
  • Gain skip-the-line access to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel
  • Discover masterpieces of European art without boring the kids
What to Expect
Greet your guide—and any other families who might join your small group—near the entrance to the Vatican Museums, and skip the long line to enter. Your guide will entertain the children with age-appropriate scavenger hunts and games.
Both the stories they tell and the exact rooms you visit will be tailored to the audience, but will include the Gallery of Maps and the Gallery of Carriages. Your tour will culminate in the Sistine Chapel, home to Michelangelo’s greatest masterpiece, before you exit the museum into St. Peter’s Square. St. Peter’s Basilica is easy to visit independently after your tour, should you wish.
