Rome for Kids: Ancient Rome Tour and Scavenger Hunt
$118.00
Overview
Explore the sights of Ancient Rome in a kid-friendly way with a scavenger hunt, starting at the Equestrian Statue of Marcus Aurelius on Campidoglio (Capitoline Hill). Following a guide, set off on a 2.5-hour walking tour past the Roman Forum and Trajan’s Column, and listen to stories about Rome’s imperial glory days. You’ll also enter the Colosseum. Tour is limited to 15 people to provide a small-group experience.
What to Expect

Meet your guide at the top of Capitoline Hill, and gaze out over the ruined temples of the Roman Forum. Your guide gets the kids involved right from the start, setting them on a scavenger hunt from the Equestrian Statue of Marcus Aurelius.

With tales of Rome’s imperial days ringing in your ears, you’ll follow a route past the Roman Forum and Trajan’s Column. Learn about the archaeological site of the forum, and how it was home to government buildings, temples, and churches in its glory days.

Finish your walk with a visit to the Colosseum and let your guide bring the ancient arena to life with tales of gladiator fights and roaring crowds.
