This was an amazing tour. We were able to customize it to see all of the attractions we selected. Coliseum, circus Maximus, Trevi fountain, a private guided tour of the Sistine chapel and Vatican. Our drivers went above and beyond to show us everything and even called ahead to order our lunch so we could gain extra time. We will definitely be back and book again!

This was the fourth time we have used Rome Private Excursions and we have been extremely please each and every time. We toured the Amalfi Coast visiting Sorrento and Positano and the views were truly amazing. While visiting Positano our guide promised an authentic local restaurant with spectacular views. He did not disappoint! The food was marvelous and the views were spectacular. All in another great day with Rome Private Excursions!

Alessandro was stellar. He is the ultimate tour guide / driver. He was waiting for us when we exited the ship as promised, and from then on he did not disappoint. Everything about the tour was wonderful.the guide took us to places we had not expected and all the places we did expect. such as the colisseum , the forum, trevi fountain, the vatican, palentin hill. He was always kind and courteous,, and he got us as close to the attractions as possible. Which I really appreciated. I was having some challenges walking on the steps since I am short and really appreciated the effort, he made to get me close. we had purchased skip the line tour for the Colisseum and then a private tour of the Vatican Museum ( the best way to visit the Sistene Chapel). having pre purchased the tickets saved time and guaranteed an entry. it also helped create a schedule that would maximize our time in Rome Aleessandro suggested a wonderful little restaurant near the Vatican for lunch before our afternoon tour and called in the order to save time. The restaurant was very nice, clean, and comfortable and the food was amazing. Alessandro's suggestions to made the most of our time in Rome were fantastic. i have to say a private tour might seem expensive at first, but was worth every penny!!!!

Our guide and driver, Christiano, showed us Rome over two days, in the Castel Gandolfo and Roman countryside, and Best of Rome and Vatican tours. He was extremely knowledgeable, and navigated us through the streets expertly, he was very friendly and engaging, and clearly enjoyed showing off his city. We learned so much and saw so many beautiful and important sites. There is no way we could have seen so much of Rome without him. We give him our highest recommendation and when we return to Rome, we will definitely be calling on him again.

Today we had a private tour to Tuscany , Sienna, and San Gimignano. First, I’d like to shout out to our driver an d tour guide Vito. He showed his knowledge and expertise of the area. He took us to all the places we wanted to see, answered all our questions, helped take pictures, and drove safely. His car was exceptionally clean and even provided a cable to keep our phones charged so that we could take more pictures I highly recommend Vito as your tour guide in the Florence area

Our tour exceeded every expectation First of all, A Huge Grazie to Cristiano for making this a special day! His knowledge, professionalism, and expertise of Roman history was exceptional. Cristiano was literally a Gentleman and a Scholar. He navigated swiftly through the area so that we could see all the sites in one day. And he even arranged a special meal for us at an authentic Italian restaurant in the Vatican area. Overall, this was a day to remember, made extra special by Cristiano!

All of Rome Private Excursion drivers were prompt, friendly, well dressed and spoke English quite well. They offered interesting specific information along the way even as fun as the best gelato near our hotel in Rome.

Our guides Sal and Cristiano were absolutely outstanding!!! Knowledgeable, courteous, flexible, prompt and funny.

Unbelievable! We did 2 day tours, 1 with Sal and 1 with Cristiano. They were both so nice, helpful, and most of all, knowledgeable. We saw and learned so much. I highly recommend!

Omg this was one of the best days of our trip. SAL was an absolute hero. He never stopped entertaining us for 13 hours. This was absolutely perfect for a mixed age group short on time. I love how could customize the day we wanted. Of note, do not book this day on a Wednesday as the famous restaurant is closed. If we every come back to Italy would want Sal as our driver, such wicked cool man, and if possible an even better driver

September 27th, Chris picked us up in front of our hotel… we discussed places that we have seen and places we wanted to see! He was so pleasant to talk with and full of information. He was so smart! We visited “the wedding cake” and got some time to explore the ruins in the back by ourselves. He had tickets to the coliseum for us and gave us advise and time to take the tour. It was amazing! Next we drove through Ancient Rome and viewed the old walled gates and one of the top mountains to view the city… we went to a few churches and then to the catacombs! Something I had NEVER seen before!!! He picked a wonderful place for lunch and we enjoyed the food and wine. Chris was amazing and we enjoyed our tour sooo much! It was worth every penny!

Saturday, September 21, Luca picked us up at the air port (FCO) and drove us to our hotel in Sorrento. We were so pleased to see and meet Luca at the airport! After the “cattle call” at customs and the hurried people in the air port, it was refreshing to see our own personal driver! Finding him was easy and the van was amazing and comfortable. He even stopped for us along the way for a bathroom break. It was so comfortable and easy to talk with him along the way. We enjoyed the trip through Naples and into Sorrento! RomePrivateExcursions excutions is above 10 out of 10!! It was amazing!!

This particular driver was boring. He barely spoke and we had to load our own bags. He didn’t even introduce himself. It was quite a contrast to our previous drivers who were fantastic.

Excellent communication prior to booking directly with the company owner,. Very flexible, This private tour exceeded all of our expectations. This is the only way to go ! We (4 of us) got picked up directly at the cruise ship port, by an excellent and very knowledgeable driver who customized our tour. He kept an eye on the time and arranged things as necessary to get us to all of our bucket list items.
