Wonderful private food tour! Thank you Clelia for being such a charming and attentive guide, especially with making sure my daughter’s food allergy was accommodated. She was so careful at each stop to make sure there were no nuts in everything my daughter tried (which can be a challenge because Roman cuisine loves to cook with nuts). We chose a private tour for this reason, and it was so lovely to have one-on-one time walking and chatting with our guide and learning more about her life in Rome. Grazie mille Clelia!

Dear Laurie thank you for your nice review. We make our best to accomodate food requests during the tours. Surely a private option is the best for the serious allergies such as celiac disease or lactose or nuts which are the most common ones. Happy you felt secure and welcommed.

We had a lovely afternoon on our private food tour with Daniela of Gourmetaly. We visited food venues and restaurants and sampled cheeses, pizza, pasta, fried zucchini flowers, gelato and more. Daniela met the food preferences of our group which included meat-eaters and vegetarians.
In addition, Daniela talked to us about the history of the different areas we visited.
We only had a few days in Rome and this tour gave us the opportunity to try foods and places that we would not have found on our own.

It was the best! Gianni was so knowledgeable and informative.
He taught us how a native Roman orders pizza, what the difference is between
a forno, trattoria, taverna and osteria. He Explained why and when the Jewish ghetto
was created and taught us how to drink from one of the public fountains. There is a trick to it! To find out what it is - go on his food tour. The best!

We enjoyed meeting other people and getting to know them. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhoods. The guide was sweet but did not really give us any information about the 3 neighborhoods. The food was not very good. We felt the excursion was over priced and not worth the money.

We've taken food tours before and thought this would be fun. It didn't disappoint. We never expected to eat soooo much! Great selection of food and we got to walk thru the Jewish Quarter and Trastevere which we would not have done. A great way to spend 3.5 hours. I highly recommend it.

What a great way to literally acquire the many flavors of Rome. As we casually strolled the streets of Rome, we stopped at a number of unique, diverse food establishments to sample everything from cheeses, meats, pastries, pastas, and other tasty treats. It was extremely interesting, and a great way to spend half the day. We ended up being in a small group of six people who were very compatible, which made the experience even better. Our guide for this trip, Antonia, was absolutely wonderful! Everything about the way she conducted the tour was perfect! Grazie Antonia! I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in this type of activity....

Excellent tour. Our tour guide was brilliant.... she was so informative and friendly. Ended up doing tour with two Americans and two Canadians. The samples of food were really tasty and it was great to visit some real Italian restaurants and bakeries! I particularly enjoyed tasting the different cheeses and the fresh Carbonara tour was simply to die for! Would highly recommend this tour.
