Overview

With its ancient heritage, ornate fountains, and cobblestoned squares, Rome is one of the world’s most picturesque capitals. Dig deep into the storied city with this in-depth guided walking tour at sun set and get a personalized peek at its many marvels. Coach tours around the Italian capital may tick off more sights, but the Eternal City demands to be savored—and the best way to experience it is on foot.

What to Expect

The best way to get to know Rome’s countless wonders is by matching its own sedate tempo. During this personalized guided evening walking tour, skip the whistle-stop sightseeing junkets and experience the storied Italian capital at a gentler rhythm, strolling through ornate streets and squares while learning the stories behind famous sights.

Ideal for first-time travelers, the tour provides a memorable introduction to the city while still covering all the main highlights. Meet your guide at the former execution site of Piazza del Popolo, now a lively city square. Stroll to the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna) and get a firsthand peek at Bernini’s famous public sculptures before heading to the sprawling Trevi Fountain, once a famous Fellini backdrop.

Your guide fills you in on each attraction’s background. End the evening with a leisurely and history-filled stroll toward the ancient Pantheon and the nightlife hub, Campo de' Fiori.

Meet on the steps at the church, which is currently behind scaffolding. Just worth noting it is not the twin churches, it is at the opposite side of the piazza. Hope that helps! Anna
