Excellent tour of the Pompeii ruins and Positano. We travelled in a large, air conditioned, comfortable bus to Pompeii then to Positano. The English speaking tour guide was really knowledgeable. We had a great time in Positano. Though it seems like you don’t hv enough time there but we managed to eat and do some shopping. Overall had a great time. Highly recommended tour.

Currently stranded on the side of a highway with a broken down tour bus, over an hour, now dark, operators can’t seem to arrange how to get us picked up, head office either not helping, or not notified properly. Would like to get my kids off the side of a highway. Horrible

Uncooperative and inhuman tour operator. we booked a tour for 27MAY for Amalfi coast and pompeii from rome for a couple. Unfortunately one person met with an accident a day before tour at rome where got leg fractured so unable to walk at all and it was well informed to Walks of italy customer service team on 26MAY morning. They asked us to send the refund application alongwith hospital document proof thru our booking channel which was sent on 26MAY itself as treatment was done by Govt Hospital rome. However after a week, we got to know that they denied the special claim refund. This tour operator is only about money even if there is a case of accident emergency. Worldwide all good tour operators allow a refund in such special cases. But only an inhuman & only low grade materialistic approach operators behave in such manner. Also to our observance their tour rates are much higher than other operators for same tour. This company shud be avoided for all tours offered by them.

Overall a very good experience. Started on time. The tour guide for Pompeii was excellent and very knowledgable. Andy our guide who took us around all day was very good as well. Only one concern - Andy was promoting his personal website a lot, which was inappropriate

I can not review the tour because we never made it on the tour. Walks is the perfect name for the the tour company. They simply walked away. The departure time was 7:15pm, and we pulled up at the meeting point at 7:15pm due to Rome traffic. Make no mistake we were there right at 7:15, we looked at the time because we were so relieved we weren't late. Only one group remained and no coordinator. After the remaining guide finally talked to us, he told us our group left and the coordinator was gone. He said he couldn't help us. After several minutes of begging the guide gave us the number to customer service. The customer service representative said it was 7:22 and we were late for the tour and there was nothing that they could do to help us. That was 7 minutes after the departure time, and 7 minutes after we had arrived at the meeting point. They were rude and unhelpful. We spent $1500 on this tour and here was no effort to help us have a successful tour (We are a group of 8 in a small tour and they had our phone number). We brought our 6 adult children on a once in a lifetime trip to Italy and booked tours to help us have a successful travel experiences and this was a complete failure. We tried to get a refund through Viator and were told that Walks told them that we were 22 minutes late to the departure point and did not inform them that we we would be late so we would not get a refund. So if you are considering this tour, please understand that if ANYTHING goes wrong with getting to the meeting point and you get their right on time, no one will be there to help you.

The only tour of Pompeii we found that includes a side trip to the gorgeous Amalfi coast south of Naples. Long but very scenic drive in comfortable mini bus with expert driver. The guided tour of Pompeii was less than 90 mins which sadly felt rushed. We were given more time to explore tiny oceanside Positano for lunch which is charming. The van stops at a dumpy overpriced store along the highway, but not a deal breaker for an otherwise good day trip.

Nice trip tour guide Iliana knowledgeable but needs t o be more engaged to the people, there was never a sense of group, we not even know the names of the other travelers despite that and the rainy day I enjoy the tour. Pompey was unreal, hope we had more time there and no rain, will go again
