    Galleria Borghese
Stop: 2 hours - Admission included
The Borghese Gallery is undoubtedly one of the most interesting, charming, elegant, and compact art museums in the world. It's not chronologically arranged, but is instead a very personal collection that reveals the personalities and tastes of two people: Gian Lorenzo Bernini, the greatest of Baroque artists, and Scipione Cardinal Borghese, the greatest art collector and the man who actually initiated the Roman Baroque. Borghese's collection includes works such as Raffaello's Woman with the Unicorn, Domenichino's Diana, Botticelli's Madonna and Child, Caravaggio's David, and Bernini's Apollo and Daphne, just to name a few. Behind the works are untold stories of art being stolen from churches, artists being sent to jail, workshops being devastated by Borghese's confiscations, mysterious deaths, and other innumerable stories of intrigue and passion. Borghese Gallery Tour includes but is not limited to: • The Caravaggio Room (St. Jerome, David with the Head of Goliath) • Bernini sculptures (Apollo and Daphne, David) • Canova sculpture (Pauline Bonaparte) • Works by Raphael (The Deposition, Lady with Unicorn) • Perugino (Madonna and Child) • Rubens (The Deposition) • Titian (Sacred and Profane Love)

Borghese Gallery , a must.
Feb 2020
This visit is a must, our guide Kylie was perfect. She paid a lot of attention to the Group, got the proper tempo and organized the visit in such a way that we were never bothered by other visitors. Everything was perfect: on time, very interesting comments on content, very enthusiastic and professionalism guide. Beautiful and awesome place. Great, thank you.

Loved it!
Feb 2020
Our tour guide Irene was a lot of fun. You could tell she had a huge passion for everything there and even more knowledge. My favorite part about the gallery was that each room kind of had its own theme, e.g. Egypt, David and Goliath, etc. The only thing I didn't like was that no pictures were "aloud" in the entire place — my memory of this place might get lost in the shuffle considering how many places we've been this trip.

Borghese Gallery / Rome
Nov 2019
One of the most beautiful museums of Rome, include a lot of works of Bernini, Raphael,
Titian, Caravaggio, and much more, many very nice marble sculptures, as the half nacked Pauline Borghese, the sister of Napoleon, she is posed as a nice Venus in the entrance, also a very nice statue of David, a self portrait, sculpture of Apollo and Daphne, Bacchus; on first floor of the gallery a serie of self -portraits done by Bernini.
This Gallery is much visited, make reservation a week before. for your ticket.

Great tour!
We booked this tour through their own Borghese gallery website and everything worked perfectly. At the meeting point we met with the coordinator who introduced us to our guide Salvatore. At 11 o’clock we were walking inside the gallery after having had a brief introduction. The rest of the tour was great I just wished we had more time to visit the great artworks in display. Highly recommended!

Small-Group Tour: Skip the Line Borghese Gallery
Our guide was a lovely German lady who was marvelous. She was so knowledgeable and just a joy to learn from. I think this was my favorite tour because of her vast art knowledge. This is a must see in Rome!

Impressive with beauty worth the ticket!

Pia, our guide made the tour very much worth the tickey. As we wound through the gallery, she was full of information and tried to give us an appreciation for the art and sculptures held within this gorgeous gallery. Hearing all the history behind the art contained within the walls, you almost wish it could talk and tell you it's story. Pia was SO knowledgeable but was never boring and her quick wit made the whole tour fun and entertaining. I would definitely recommend this tour for teenagers and up. Younger children might be bored with the tour.

A visit to the Galleria Borghese is a must
Mar 2019 • Solo
Each time I am in Rome I go to the Borghese Gallery. For me it is a must because it is one of Rome highlights. It is an unforgettable experience. There are so many masterpieces by great masters - Bernini, Canova, Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio, etc. in this Gallery which should not be missed. The building by itself is outstanding. Certainly, one visit to this magnificent Gallery is not enough. I book the guided tours well in advance and prior to the visits do my own homework. At least I know what to expect. So much depends on the guide and so far I have never been disappointed by participating in the guided tours. My last visit to the Galleria Borghese took place on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Our guide was Pia K. from Alwaysrome. My opinion is she is one of the best guides of this particular tour; her approach and explanation was not just the standard routine, it was outstanding. Her expertise has no boundaries and she was generous enough to share her vast knowledge with our group. I learned so much after my last visit with Pia K., so I would not mind to take the same tour with Pia K. again. Thank you, Pia K. for this unforgettable memorable tour which I really enjoyed and appreciated.

Needless to say, a visit to the Borghese Gallery is highly recommended.

Excellent Tour
The Borghese is a small and incredibly well appointed museum in the park, with an extensive collection of sculptures.

Must book well in advance or you will not get in (they were sold out a week past our dates when we visited). They only allow 240 visitors each cycle and a cycle is 2 hours - so it’s a very limited venue.

In order to get though even a small place like this in 2 hours, you need a tour guide and we had an excellent and experienced one, Pia.

You meet in front of the gallery and your guide brings you in, explaining the highlight items in the collection. You won’t see everything. You can’t in 2 hours. But the depth of explanation and the ability to trace multiple items across an artists career is illuminating.

It’s a small museum, but one of my favorites in the world with excellent Carravaggio and Bernini. Worth the visit.

Scam - no-show and prevented us from seeing Borghese Gallery! Definitely avoid this company
Mar 2019 • Family
We're really sad - our tour guide was a complete no-show. We and others all got to the Borghese Gallery with reservations through this company. No one arrived and the company had no reservations. We therefore were not allowed into the gallery at all, because reservations are mandatory. I cannot stress enough how awful this company is. Avoid them!

DO NOT BOOK!!!
Oct 2018 • Friends
I cannot express enough how frustrated I am with this company. I booked 4 skip the lines tickets for the Borghese Gallery and days before our scheduled tour we received an email saying that they no longer had space for us. They offered other timeslots, but the only one that worked in our highly planned out schedule (FOR MONTHS) was the timeslot we booked originally. I asked for a refund and it has been weeks without a refund and no response for the customer service rep. We spend $150 on tickets we didn't use and the worst costumer service I have ever experienced. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this company.
