- kathreynolds0 contributionsBEST TOUR EVER!!!!!!!Honestly - best tour ever!!! We had Alex and he showed us places we would never have thought to visit - off the beaten track a little. - Shahbaz A0 contributionsExperience of a lifetime! What a highlight it was, driving this amazing machine and that too in the narrowest and the broadest streets of Roma. Touching the points you can never on the bus or trains. Our guide Francesco was super awesome guy, so cool n calm and absolutely amazingly knowledgeable about the hidden truths of Roma. He was really fun, took absolutely amazing photos and catered all our requests. He was amazing with my 4 yrs old as well :) 10/10 you should do it 100/10 you do it was Francesco ❤️❤️Written September 13, 2024
- tg810 contributionsWhat a great way of sightseeing the city of Rome.It was not easy to book it as the page was down but our reception helped us. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and instructed by our guide Alexis. Listen to the instructions carefully in order not to break those oldtimer beautis and just go for the ride if you have some experience with a manual gear shift. The tour will take you through different parts of Rome and to two view points. It is an amazing way of sightseeing the city of Rome.Written September 7, 2024

- Miguelhernandezcasas0 contributionsUnforgettable experience. TOP!!! 100%From start to finish, everything was perfect, 100%! Both in the initial stages of booking the service and on the day we did the tour. When booking the tour, they responded quickly, efficiently, and in a very personalized manner, showing interest in ensuring everything went well. They took note of all the special preparations since it was a birthday. And on the day of the tour, everything was prepared as we discussed, with great care. They were attentive, punctual, and everything was ready as agreed, with much style. This, combined with the kindness, knowledge of the areas they showed us, and the positive energy of both the staff and the car itself, made for a perfect day that we will never forget. THANK YOU ALVISE for your work and effort. :)Written May 25, 2024

- ant_nior4720 contributionsConvo TourI booked this trip because I'm a massive Fiat fan and I really wanted to experience what is to drive the the iconic vintage Cinquecento in the most adequate background of all - Rome. It totally surpassed our expectations, the car was really fun to drive, the guide was super helpful, gave us tips on the city and showed us around the walls, Pyramid and more! It really completed our visit of Rome and I cannot recommend it enough even if you're not that much into cars. Thank you Alexis for the great tour!Written April 30, 2024
- 765yang0 contributionsAbsolutely AMAZING!My family had a self-driving tour in the famous Fiat 500, and it was AMAZING! I enjoyed squeezing through narrow streets and tight corners of historic Rome, my kid enjoyed people taking pictures of us as we passed them and my wife enjoyed taking family pictures. Those tiny Fiats are something! They are not Lamborghini, but they will beat any Lamborghini around tight corners of historic Rome. I don't have enough words to describe my experience driving the classic Fiat 500. Absolutely AMAZING! Great may thanks to Alvise Di Giulio for making these tours possible and to our guide Alexis for memorable experience.Written April 17, 2024
- jgH8222XV0 contributionsSplurge and do this tour! This is a must do in Rome! Alex was an amazing guide, super engaging and funny. He had a set itinerary, but was happy to alter if we wanted to see other things. Lots of great photos ops.Written April 13, 2024

This tour takes sightseeing to a whole new level by letting you get behind the wheel of a charming classic Fiat 500. Cruising through Rome's narrow streets in this iconic Italian car is an absolute delight. It's not just about the sights; it's about feeling the pulse of the city. You'll weave through charming alleys, inaccessible to larger vehicles, feeling like a true Roman navigating their daily life. Alexis Makes the Difference: A huge part of what made this tour so special was our guide, Alexis. His passion for Rome is infectious, and his knowledge of the city's history and hidden gems is truly impressive. We are well travelled, hubbies a car nut, driving sports cars around the Nurburgring and over Europe but we will always remember our very special day with Alvise. Having our own guide around the lesser known parts of Rome and being able to drive through these stunning parts ourselves in a fantastic classic fiat 500 made it and us feel very special. Alvise, our guide was informative, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, a real gent and we will most certainly be doing it again. Highlight of our trip to Rome. Thank you Alvise.

My husband and I had very limited time in Rome. And though we go to Rome often, we never miss an opportunity to squeeze out every bit of sightseeing we can. This time, we decided to go with a Fiat Cinquecento tour with driver. We figured we could cover a lot more ground by car and what could be better than going around the Eternal City in a classic Italian ride?! This turned out to be such a memorable experience. The shiny apple-red car was gorgeous and iconic. Our guide, Alvise, was the absolute best. The tour is billed as a "hidden sights" tour but because we know Rome pretty well, we asked him to further customize our experience and take us to places that are even more off the beaten path and he listened to our ideas and suggestions, which we really appreciated. What we loved most about him was his deep historical knowledge and the enthusiasm and passion with which he speaks about his beloved city. He doesn't just spit out facts; he provides context, background and personal insight. And he's a great photographer to boot! We came away with some awesome photos that we'll frame and treasure forever. I can't recommend this tour enough. Yes, it's pricey but for us it's worth every penny. We plan on booking with him again the next time we're in Rome.

Just book it. We had an absolute blast on this tour. We drive a new Fiat 500 at home and fell in love with the vintage 500 we got to tour in for the morning. We went with the tour operator/driver because we were worried about the traffic. The other cars in our convoy were driven by customers and they all agreed that it was quite easy to keep up with the lead car. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and heaps of fun. Loved every minute of this your. The only thing I’d mention is the meeting location - we went on a Sunday morning and got there at 815 thinking we would find breakfast before the tour. Nothing opened until after 9am when our tour started.

Driving around in Rome with a Fiat 500 together with the knowledgeable guide Alexis Leonardo is a fun and exciting way of exploring the interesting and slightly less famous parts of this marvellous city. You'll see and visit things you'll otherwise miss out on: the pyramide, the Caracalla baths, the San Sebastiano gate, and the noon salute, to metion some. Not to forget being in the midst of the caotic Roman traffic. You'll remember this trip more than anything else! Three hours will fly unexpectedly fast.

We own a 1965 Fiat Abarth 695 in the USA and wanted to experience driving a vintage Fiat 500 in Rome. Our tour guide is the son of the owner of the company and is named Alex. He was terrific in showing us all of the important and historic sites in Rome. Driving right by the Colosseum, it was like being in an old movie, if you can handle driving a manual transmission next time you’re in Rome do it , it was a blast.

Alex and Eduardo were terrific guides to introduce the sights of Rome to our family: light hearted, easy to be with, and knowledgeable about the city origins, geography, history, and culture. They were very open to our interests and suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as we got acclimated to this beautiful city.

This was my second Hidden Gems tour and somehow it was even better. This time it was in convoy rather than just us and a guide and this added to the enjoyment. There were some additions to the itinerary and each of them contributed to the richer vision of Rome which the tour gives you. The cars are retro at its finest and the guides are the right blend of knowledgeable and charming. The tour definitely gives an extra dimension to any visit to Rome. Book your slightly cramped but incredibly rewarding seat now.

My wife and booked the Fiat tour as part of our Silver Wedding anniversary trip to Rome and it was such great fun. Before we arrived Alvise made sure we had all the information we needed about the cars and tour, as well as recommending local eateries and microbrewery for us to visit! His son Alex was our tour guide. Really personable and very knowledgeable. Like his father, a top fella! The cars were great to drive and it was wonderful to get a different perspective on such an amazing city. When we return to Rome we’d definitely like to to another trip in the Fiats.

Average temps in Rome is around 12C / 50F. I'm sure if you wrap up warm, it'll be fine!
Remember these are 60+ year old cars. The heating systems and insulation in these quirky little gems is lacking but grabbing a coat and gloves / hat is a small price to pay for the adventure!
