- Guide5559984525900Vatican city toursHad a fantastic time touring the Vatican and Sistine chapel. Our tour guide Martina was absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgeable and passionate on the topics surrounding the Vatican, she made the tour a lot more fun 10/10 would recommend.
- nkemorris00Stefan’s was fabulous! We enjoyed our skip the line for the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Stefano was fabulous and made what would have otherwise been a sort of boring museum very enjoyable and informative. Thanks!
- susi-110500Ok tourThis is a Big group. Lots people. Audio didn’t work. Not the guides fault but maybe try to fix it in future ?
- baz209600Vatican Skip The Line TourThe tour of The Vatican was brilliant. Stefano our guide was amazing. His knowledge of the history of The Vatican was second to none. He didn’t rush us through and his English was first rate. He took his time to explain all about the place and answered questions that were asked. Stefano made sure we saw everything there was to see here and made sure everyone in the group had the best experience. I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting and the Skip The Line tour is a must to avoid the huge queue to enter unless of course you like queuing for hours! Thank you Stefano for n amazing tour and experience we will never forget. 😀
- rachelanson00Don't miss itBeen wanting to visit Rome and the Vatican for 20 years! Our guide Fabio was excellent, very knowledgeable and delivered in light hearted way. He allowed time for photos. There were 20 in our group. The Vatican is a huge place and was very busy with tourists and it's essential to join a skip the line guided tour to understand all you see. Vicus Caprarius and L'antica Birreria Peroni were excellent places to go after
- coreykS8780IJ00The right way to do these 3 places - Worth it and highly recommendThis is definitely the way to do a visit to the Vatican and Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter's. Even on a day when the grounds were packed, it was well organized and efficient. The Vatican Museum is very interesting, and the Sistine Chapel is wonderful. The best part for me was concluding the tour at the front of St. Peter's and getting to skip the line and walk right in and spend as much time as I wanted in there. Our tour guide Giuseppe was outstanding! I learned so much, and even with all the hustle and bustle around the Vatican and all the crowds inside and outside, he stayed calm and steady and engaging throughout the whole tour. He even told us a sweet story about his own experience meeting the Pope when he was a young boy.
- truthtraveler58000Nope.Unbelievably disappointing. Crowded, hotter than hades, no time to look at anything in depth. Bad audio. (Take your own ear buds) I now understand that the Vatican gets around 40k visitors per day. Even though one would have to wait to get tix to the Vatican, much better to do it on one's own. Never again would I spend the money and time for a tour. We aborted mid-tour. Seems the ONLY reason to sign up is to skip the line into St. Peter's. But in order to do that, have to go through the whole tour, wherein you miss seeing 75 per cent of what is in the museum. And if you really want to see the Sistine, catch the traveling tour.
- C8865OLbriannam00Great GuideOur guide (Ricardo) was knowledgeable, passionate, and extremely pleasant. The Vatican was packed but he made sure we all stuck together. It was a great tour.
- Flyer79883600Great experiencePasquale was an excellent, entertaining tour guide. He knew his stuff and had a good sense of humour. Highly recommended.
- glenng39700Viator was excellent. Met us on time, knowledgeable, small group, and friendly. The 4 was because of the crowdsThe Vatican has 30000 daily visitors. It’s packed and they race you through. If you stop to admire something you’re lost
- 630shelleye00Amazing Vatican City!An amazing day at the Vatican!!! Catalina was the best tour guide I have ever had! She had so much information to share and stories to tell! Catalina made our morning so memorable!!! Thank you!!
- Emma C00Great tourThis was a great tour that covered some really interesting areas of the Vatican Museum as well as the Sistine Chapel. Our guide Fabio was very knowledgeable and made the tour both interesting and fun. We were only in Rome for a short time so this gave us a great overview but you could spend at least a whole day inside if you wanted to see everything. We booked a late afternoon tour so couldn’t see St.Peters Basillica, but with hindsight wish we had booked something earlier so that we could have covered this too. Overall a great experience that we would recommend.
- Dmedenwald00A few hours spent on a guided tour of the VaticanAlessia was a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly! Had a wonderful day seeing the Vatican!
- Farmps00Ok but very busyI’ve given this an average 3 because it wasn’t bad and it wasn’t good! We skipped the line and had a guide - she was good and gave us 2 hours of information about the statues , paintings and how the Vatican museum came about - very interesting. Be aware the museum is very busy and it can be quite overwhelming. Our guide couldn’t go into the Sistine Chapel as she could not talk ( it’s a quiet space to view the paintings by Michelangelo) So we went in on our own to be greeted with a noise level that spoilt my enjoyment of the place. So the museum is ok - very busy if you can book a tour guide otherwise you will queue for hours to get in.
- Mr P00Giuseppe is a wonderful host and guide!Giuseppe is a wonderful, passionate guide! We learned so much and saw everything we wanted to see. Thank you to Giuseppe

Our guide, Gina, was wonderful, 5 stars for her. Gina was helpful in answering questions and was kind during our experience. The island of Ponza was beautiful and is truly an area that should not be missed while in Italy. The sea water was clear and a lovely turquoise blue. Issues we had: when looking at the photos and reading the experiences of others, we thought that the group would be relatively small but our group was very large (maybe about 40 people) and the boat was very crowded and took away from our experience. People had to struggle to find a seat and all of us were sitting elbow to elbow due to overcrowding. Several people who were sitting on the bottom level of the boat had feet hanging over them from the people sitting on the edges on the top level. The lunch provided was good for the non-vegetarians. The vegetarian option was just boiled pasta with olive oil, it would have been nice if a simple tomato sauce could have been added to the vegetarian option. Another issue was that the day before the tour an email was sent out with the information about the tour which was great, however, we were asked to reply via email if we wanted to pay with card so a link could be sent to us. I emailed requesting to pay with card 30 minutes after the initial email was sent out but I never received the link and had to use the limited cash I had the next day to pay for the ferry tickets which was frustrating. The tour was worth it at the end because of the beautiful views but I would not book this again and would instead pay a premium for a private boat.

Hi! Thank you so much for your honest feedback. I let Gina know you gave her five stars, and she was so happy to hear you enjoyed your time with her in Ponza. Food is always such a difficult point is it not? So many requests, and such a tiny boat kitchen. Our providers in Ponza offer a "mariner's" typical pasta of red sauce with tuna and olives. We realise that while this may make 90% of our guests happy, it may not make all .. but with just two grills at our service decisions need to be made. Lots of guide opt to bring their own toppings to add to the pasta, or bring a separate lunch all together. There are no limits to the amount of food/snacks and drink that can be brought on board by our guests. We also do offer a private option, at a different price point. Regarding the pay by card option, we did send you an email, right away, but it appears this did not arrive to you in time, and we will certainly look into it. In any case, it was still possible to request this payment link on the day and we would have been happy to send it. Thanks!

This was such a singular experience, I’ve never visited a place so beautiful and so one of a kind. Swimming was refreshing, although the fact that there’s a lot of jellyfish around made me nervous. The guide gave us great info of the island throughout the tour and the captain handled that boat amazingly. Wouldn’t recommend for people that get motion sickness easily, but if you can, definitely visit Ponza! Thanks, Ricciardo!

Ponza was our first day trip while we were on vacation in Rome & it couldn’t have been a more amazing experience. The views are breathtaking & the colors of the Tyrrhenian Sea are like something out of a dream. Riccardo was an incredibly informative & entertaining guide. I would definitely suggest this tour!

This day trip from Rome was amazing. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had to make a few last minute changes and they were very accommodating. We traveled with 5 kids between the ages of 17- 4 and everyone loved the experience. We would definitely do this again! I do suggest bringing life vest or floaters for young swimmers and inflatable rings or noodles for not so great older swimmers.

This was the first thing we did when coming to Italy and man did it not disappoint! The waters were so clear and beautiful, not to mention refreshing since it has been hot! The scenery is worth the experience alone, but the entire day was a blast! Our tour guide Ricardo made sure we all had a great time and always was available to take pictures when asked! We stopped to swim like 4-5 times I think and the food onboard was amazing! At first when they said tuna and olives I was like ummmm no thanks, but I do like to try new things so boy I’m glad I did! Didn’t even taste the tuna it was so delicious! Was able to sit freely on the boat and even hung my legs out as it was going which the water slashing at my feet felt nice haha. I took so many pictures and videos this place is remarkable and the tour was great! It is a 3 hour trek from time to get there plus the 3 hrs to get back (ferry and bus ride each way) but it was air conditioned and comfy and had a great time! The ferry is 1.5 hrs long so bring snacks and a charger!

This trip had us out bright sand early but it was well with it. It was a welcomed break from the heat of the city. Our guide was sweet and very informative. You meet outside of a small cafe which had wonderful coffee and sweets before heading off. The bus was comfy and the ride was smooth. We took the fast ferry to the island and had about 20 minutes to regroup. We set off on our boat with our group of 25-30 people. Our boat made five stops at different coves where we could jump in and swim. Snorkeling was not great as there was not much marine life to be seen so close to the shore. After third stop the crew served lunch. Yum-o! It was a Mediterranean pasta with tomato sauce, black olives and tuna. There is plain pasta with EVOO which was Fanta as well. Great trip to take cool down from the heat of Rome. Cute port town where you could grab a drink and change I to dry clothes. Definitely a great day trip destination and great for families.

This was a VERY COOL experience. The reason we rate it 4/5 is because the food and wine situation could have been way better. Like, let’s set up some aperitifs and have wine available more of the time! Also, while we were leaving, one of the boat worker guys yelled at us to hurry up. We were about 30 seconds away from having it all loaded up and we weren’t far behind the rest of the guests who were leaving, but he just felt the need to yell “come on!!” at us…maybe he was having a bad day, but it was so unnecessarily rude and was a horrible taste to leave us with at the end of a mostly fun day.

Hi Monica, Thanks so much for your helpful review. Wine is actually available throughout the trip but to enjoy some outside of lunchtime you would need to ask. We find that leaving the wine out all the time isn't always the best idea (also, it would get hot, and who wants hot wine?). Thank you for your suggestion about aperitif snacks, we will definitely take it into consideration. I'm sorry that someone from the crew was rushing you, that isn't acceptable and we will certainly look into it. But so happy to hear you enjoyed your day for the most part - and thanks again for your suggestions.

This trip was the perfect excursion from Rome! Kimberly was friendly, informative, accessible and fun. I would trust her to shepherd me anywhere! I met some nice folks on my tour, got some reading done on the ferry, enjoyed the sunshine and did a lot of swimming. Everyone on the boat loosened up after a bit of wine, so I'd say the most fun part of the day was lunch and post-lunch. I did get stung by a jellyfish, but there's no one to blame for that except the jellyfish. (Mentioning it here though just in case that would be a real dealbreaker for anyone). I generally have no interest in snorkeling but do think it would have been fun (and useful for jellyfish) in this instance, so that is probably worth a try, too!

It was incredible
Beautiful sights and our guide Luisa was awesome. Luisa was extremely helpful and showed us some unique grottos and beaches.
Luisa was attentive to the whole group and very kind.
Do not miss this one and the travel time is not bad especially compared to other tours to Positano
This tour actually spent over an hour at the location mainland with 5 hours on the boat
Bring sunscreen and water
You actually do get to swim and snorkel into grottos
But totally don’t have to if you don’t want to
You can also sunbathe on the top deck of the boat
The views of the rocky island are breathtaking
Also I recommended while on land try the second nearest bar to the ferry port at the start of the right turn towards the shops.
They have amazing refreshing drinks and free snacks plus a great view of the island under shaded umbrellas

Loved this excursion! Great break from sightseeing in Rome with our 16 year old. Ponza is just beautiful. The water is so beautiful and cliffs along the shore are stunning. Lots of opportunities to jump in and swim. We were in Europe for 3 weeks and this was one of my favorite days.

I do not know. I went in August. Try calling them direct. An excursion you should not miss! It was just breathtaking!
