Best Tour Guide Ever - Christina
We had Christina (number 12 if that is relevant) as our tour guide and she was the best guide we have ever had. Her knowledge of the Colosseum was incredible. She told amazing and insightful stories. Highly recommend her and this tour!!!

A helpful bus company that guided you around the city of Rome. The buses were clean and picked up at the stops regularly, so you are not waiting around too long. We recommend I ❤️ Rome bus company.

Easy way to explore and visit or make plans to
We called the office for an exact boarding address nearby, for the satnav. The bus finds a way through Roman traffic and stops at fascinating historic landmarks. We chose to sit back and enjoy the view with classic stories in our chosen language at places we could not visit (again) this time.

      Day Trip to Florence
We really enjoyed our time in Florence, so much to see. We had a guide with us on the train, then another guide who showed us the city and Uffizi Gallery and they were both amazing.

So much to see and so much history. Our guide was excellent and we learned about the true history of the Roman Empire, how Rome fell and how the Catholic Church turned many of the ancient Roman buildings into churches.

Tour company canceled with no notice!!
RESERVE WITH ANOTHER TOUR COMPANY! My reservation was canceled the day prior with no one ever contacting me!! When I reached out to Trip Advisor/Viator, they said the tour company canceled indicating they would not be able to accommodate me. This was extremely disappointing as this booking was on my last day here in Rome. I had this booked months prior!

Terrible service from Gray Line in Romw
TERRIBLE!!! The bus is comfortable and the audioguide is good. But I wanted to make the most of my time and planned to return on "the last bus". Well, it never showed. I could see on the app how it went up to stop 3 (I was on Stop 5), and then simply took off.

      Long day, flew by.
Francesca-Guide JeanFranco-Driver Fredrica-Trainee. Had a lovely & safe drive to the coastal town of Sorrento. Where Sasha-Sorrento guide took over. Had a limoncello tasting, along with a variety of other liquors, oils, vinegars, chocolates, wine, etc. at Limoncello ai Capri. We bought too much, of course, which was worth it to get the Limoncello at the location, but for the other liquors, you’d be better off getting them in Sorrento square for 50%+ off. Same stuff, much lower in price. Had a quick lunch in town, at the recommendation of Sasha, so the restaurant quickly served us so we could meet the timeline to leave. Then a couple minutes to zip around the quaint streets. Off to Pompeii. We chose to not go on the guided tour with Sasha, and another gentleman because I injured my knee badly before our trip, so we chose to go it alone. Probably not a good idea. We only had about 1 1/2hrs at Pompeii and unfortunately didn’t learn or see much of the site. A tour would’ve been the better route for a quick visit like that. But I loved seeing all the cats and my able bodied husband enjoyed running around taking pics and bringing them back to me to share. It’s quite an impressive site to see. To realize the Pompeiians were so much advanced in building such a huge community. More impressive was that the site is so well preserved obviously due to the super inferno of ash halting time in an instant. We really wanted to see the “bodies” (not really bodies, but the casings of bodies) couldn’t find them on the map. Had no idea where they were. When we met back up to leave, we were told they were in the auditorium. Which we passed twice so duh on us. Was a wee bit annoyed that we were the only ones who showed up on time to leave, most of the rest of the group arrived 30+ minutes late. But Francesca was very patient and we eventually all went to the bus. Pompeii is about a 2 mile circumference. The site easily could take days to take in. Lots of hills, big cobblestones in the roads, etc. So be able bodied and take your time. On the way to Sorrento and from Pompeii, we did stop for a break, so you can get a snack or drink or use the facilities before getting back on the bus. No eating/drinking on the bus. Was a very long day, 7am to 8:30pm but went by pretty fast. WiFi aboard the bus keeps you entertained. Or naps. Lots of naps were had. Thanks for the experience, Francesca, JeanFranco, Sasha & Fredrica.

Christina was very knowledgeable also accomodating - she never rushed us and was very friendly. She answered questions with ease and was clearly an expert being an archaeologist.

Always a nice option to know the city
I always hop on of these and do the entire route once, then chose places I want to go. Rome has the option of 1 ride which was great!

I just returned home from a wonderful trip in Italy with Proximo Tours. I did not know anyone in the group, but felt right at home with their warmth and friendliness. Our two priests enriched our journey with their knowledge and familiarity of the many sites. We visited so many beautiful basilicas and churches in Rome, Assisi, Florence and Venice. We saw the Pope, visited museums and great works of art including the Sistine chapel, the Pantheon and the famous statue of Michaelangelo's David. Our group celebrated mass by in the catacombs, St. Boniface Chapel in Assisi, St Mark's crypt in Venice as well as a mass in Italian in Rome. The beauty of Italy and its ancient churches and notable sites was phenomenal. Our tour guide, Valentina, was exuberant, knowledgeable and worked hard to make a wonderful experience for all of us. We stayed in nice hotels, enjoyed good food and camaraderie. The gondola ride in Venice was amazing! For me, this was a trip of a lifetime.
I had been on a Proximo tour of Ireland three years ago which also was excellent.

This one week tour was part of a two Week tour of Italy and Greece, but Italy won my heart. The beautiful Art, the happy and charming people, the cities and small towns all had their charms and breathtaking monuments, basilicas, and moments of pure magic. Our tour guide Nancy was both personal and professional, and overall wonderful. I truly appreciated her knowledge, her care that we were enjoying our tour, and her excellent English abilities. We also had an amazing bus driver, Luigi, who was both a very skilled and calm driver, and always caring that we boarded and disembarked the bus with his lovely assistance.

The tour started off badly, our tour guide was struck by a motorcyclist. Fortunately, we heard he was out of the hospital midweek. We had a second tour guide meet us on Wednesday.

We had a temporary guide until Wednesday, so were on our own in Assisi, Pisa and Siena.

The hotels on this tour were very nice, clean and quiet. The supper we had in Florence was horrendous. The pasta was tasteless. The "salad" was lettuce and tomato. The main course was tasteless pork chop. The dessert was a dry banana nut cupcake.

We had a great lunch on our way back to Rome in Montepulciano.

We enjoyed our tours in the cities we visited.

Me and my wife were trying to come up with an European trip where we can have good food, nice landmarks and beaches.
We started our trip in Venice where we walk around and had lots of pasta and wine. We stayed at a nice apartment for a decent price. Of course we had the gondola ride and good and nice dinner in front of the canals.
After 4 days we rented a car and drove to Ancona (about 2 hours) we stayed at a nice hotel and had great dinner again. Next day in the morning we headed to Portonovo beach, a magnificent beach located in the balcanic coast sitting a the bottom of a really cool hill.
After that we went to Pescara which miles and miles of beaches, playgrounds, restaurants and bars.
One day after we headed to Rome where we of course visited the Colloseo and Roman Forum as well as Saint Peters and most of the other relevant atractions in Rome... keep in mind we stayed at a nice hotel far from downtown so no issues leaving the car there and we did almost everything walking and by train.
Last couple days we took the one and half train to Florence and again visited most of the cool places and had great food.
I wish we had more time so we can explore a little bit more the south part of Italy, however it was a great experience for the all family

Have never done a tour before and wasn’t sure what to expect. Although busy, was a great way to see some main attractions and get a glimpse of what Italy has to offer in between. Our tour guide Sabrina was amazing. Very informative of all the places we visited, gave lots of ideas for restaurants and shopping for each place we stopped, very caring and attentive to all parties on the tour young and old. This tour stopped in some beautiful small towns and villages, felt the time on the bus was broke up nicely, only complaint would be the hotel in Venice. We booked our tour through Wingbuddy and were never offered the upgraded hotel which we would have gladly taken.

Me and my boyfriends first time in Italy and this tour was great. We got to see so many amazing things with our fantastic guide Lucy! Lucy was so helpful when it came to anything and everything. She knew tons of locals and could easily get us the things we needed or wanted (even free wine 😏) I highly recommend having her. If you want a shorter guided trip this is it!!! Nothing bad to say at all!

The tour planning was good but a bit tight schedule.
The tour guide was on time, kind, supportive, funny, and awesome!
The driver was nice and patient.
The only issue was that they forgot to pickup us for one of the tours. We couldn’t reach out anyone through provided numbers, but eventually they remembered and sent a taxi to pickup us.
