- nicholej9740 contributionsYou should take this tour!!Alexandra number 11 was absolutely Amazing. She was so insightful, made sure to help us. Imagine what the different monuments look like during the Roman period.Written February 7, 2025
- 807sianl0 contributionsAvoid as only after moneyToo few buses if any at all. So waited over an hr for buses to then stop running. Upon return customer service was appalling and after 3 months still not had agreed refund as I am unwilling to provide place of Borth for refund. AVOID AS LIKELY TO BE A SCAMWritten February 4, 2025
- Anna B0 contributionsGreat dayMy mum really wanted to go to positano, and this tour seemed like the easiest way with the limited time we had. Lovely train ride, and a great trip on the ferry. Didn't have the greatest lunch in positano, but that was our poor choice, not the tours. Enough time in positano to walk around the shops and up along some paths for some great views. Amalfi is not as good as positano but a good place to pick up some souvenirs. Our guide was a bit abrupt.Written January 26, 2025

- N5755VIjoanaa0 contributionsUnforgettable tour! Our visit to the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums with Gray Line - I 💜 Rome was absolutely amazing! Our guide, Carol, led the tour in Portuguese and was exceptional. Her deep knowledge, passion, and engaging storytelling made the entire experience unforgettable. The Vatican Museums are massive, but Carol navigated us through the highlights effortlessly, ensuring we understood the history and significance of each masterpiece. Her explanations added so much value, especially when we reached the breathtaking Sistine Chapel – seeing Michelangelo’s work in person was a moment I’ll never forget. The tour was well-organized, and Carol’s professionalism and warmth made it even more special. If you’re visiting the Vatican, I highly recommend booking with Gray Line - I 💜 Rome and, if possible, asking for Carol as your guide!Written January 19, 2025
- laurarA5219MA0 contributionsDay-trip to PompeiiEverything was good! Tour leader told us interesting info on the way to Pompeii. We had couple of hours free time to wander around in Pompeii and then we were driven back to Rome.Written January 19, 2025
- mamanoo030 contributionsFantastic information and sitesOur guide, Giada, was highly informed of the local history, a clear speaker with an impressive English vocabulary, very friendly and very patient. I had a walking stick and Giada made sure I could access the lift in the Colosseum, as well as taking ramp or hill routes instead of stairs for me. She always made sure she could see everybody and made sure I was ok, especially after 2 almost falls. I highly recommend Giada and this tour.Written January 19, 2025
- 0 contributionsGood enough to get ideasVery bumpy roads, 10+ minutes between some stops, huge difficulties finding some of the stops... this hop-on-off service could be improved. My trips were in January, and the first time it was freezing but the top of the bus was open. The second time it was raining and it was enclosed, so that was a better experience. The earphones didn't work well. Many of the stops are in awful places with no view but you have to sit it out. And the map is so small it is obliterated by the red lines of the route, so you can't read where you are. When you get off there is no information as to which way to go to the attraction. The route on the map looks confusing/doubled, and some of the stops have been changed but the map remains the same. You may have, as I did, two loud men jabbering in their language behind you, not paying any attention to the guide or to the other riders, and then playing their music aloud. So it's ok to ride on it for an idea of the city and sites, but not an entertainment by itself.Written January 18, 2025

- B5875NXpaulinap0 contributionsThe Ancient CityAfter visiting Athens it was time to go to Rome (09/13/24), Rome a big city full of history, we want to discover the old architecture, ancient ruins, and art. Some of the famous landmarks is the colosseum , the Pantheon is a Roman temple, Roman forum where you can find market places and some government buildings. the one we liked the most was Saint Peter Basilica, its beautiful when you are inside listening a mass , you feel very peaceful, the architecture is incredible amazing and was built around 1506. in spite of these places, you have many more to visit like museums, Spanish steps, the Sistine Chapel its full of art and it was painted by Michael Angelo, I recommend al least 5 days to visit this city to enjoy it. Our stay was at Tama Rooms located at Viale Giulio Cesare 223, Vatican city , the hosts Is Roberta and her Mother, they are very nice and helpful, from here you can walk 15 minutes to San Peter Basilica, Castle Saint Angelo. As well, you have restaurants, pharmacies, train station, in spite of those advantages, the service is excellent, rooms are big, very clean and safe to stay in this neighborhood.Written January 17, 2025

- 0 contributionsHORROR STORY- STAY AWAY!!!We booked all day tour today it was DIRTY and FREEZING inside the bus! We were hoping that there is going to be some heating as we were sitting downstairs, but we only got more blowing from 2 stairs leading up and both doors that are open on every station even if theres no people going in/out. Seating were stone cold and we barely survived DO NOT USE THIS TRANSPORTATION!!!!Written January 15, 2025

Excellent tour. The hotels are 3-4 star but very clean and friendly. Almost everything you need for your stay. Bring a face cloth and Kleenex. The last day on Sorrento you’re given the choice at an extra cost to tour the Amalfi coast. That should be added into the tour with the extra cost at the beginning. The coach drivers and guides are friendly, helpful knowledgable and English speaking. Bring extra money for tips and hotel room taxes. 6-7 euros daily. I would recommend this tour. Being a solo traveller I was not solo for long. I was made to feel welcome from all the other travellers. A great way to see the highlights of Italy.

The Fantasia 10-Day Tour is a comprehensive journey through Italy's most iconic cities and regions, designed to immerse travelers in the rich culture, history, and beauty of the country. Over the course of the tour, you’ll visit must-see destinations like Rome, Florence, Venice, and Sorrento, while also having the chance to explore hidden gems like Montepulciano in Tuscany, and the stunning Amalfi Coast. The tour includes accommodation in carefully selected 3-4 star hotels, providing comfort and convenience at every stop. Hotels were overall okay- Rome hotel room was very small but staff and breakfast was excellent so it made up for it. Master group tour guide Sylvia was excellent and did her very best to help everyone out. NH hotel in Venice did not have AC for the two nights we stayed there for all guests in our group of 12. The only thing that Master group or Exoticca need to really improve is the meeting places coordinates or information which is very poor and confusing and the names of meeting places sometimes wrong 😑 so one cannot google for it with the wrong name. 🤷♀️
