Overview
Nobody wants to spend their vacation waiting in line or jostling crowds. Be the first of thousands to visit the Vatican on this early access tour, which allows you to enter the Vatican Museums an hour before they’re open to the public. A small group limited to 12 allows you to enjoy the Sistine Chapel and Raphael Rooms without the annoyance of crowds, and headsets mean you can hear your guide clearly at all times. Skip lines often in excess of three hours, and stay inside St. Peter’s Basilica for as long as you wish once the tour concludes.
What to Expect

This Vatican Museums tour begins at a designated meeting point near the Vatican in the early morning. Head straight inside the Vatican through a special entrance reserved especially for groups.

In your small group, remain close to your guide at all times and explore some of the 2,000 rooms in relative tranquility. Admire the golden vaulted ceiling in the Gallery of Maps; stare at Michelangelo's world-famous ceiling in the Sistine Chapel; and marvel at enormous frescos in the Raphael Rooms.

After your tour of the Vatican Museums, head to St. Peter’s Basilica, and receive an overview of the church from your guide. Then, spend as long as you like exploring the church with relatively few crowds.

Vatican Experience

With 30,000 visitors a day and a line up that goes on for hours I would suggest strongly that you take an early access tour. I didn’t know much of the history of these sites so it was a wonderful educational experience as with having...More

We had an excellent morning visiting the galleries on route to the Sistine Chapel and then St Peter's Basilica. Christian was an amazing font of information about the key points of interest along the way and provided an easily remembered guide to the Sistine Chapel...More
