    Refusal to refund
We booked a trip through this company for a day tour of Pompeii and herculean. Because of covid we had to rebook twice and at that time we were told that we had the option of receiving a 100% refund of the money we had paid, which was close to a 1000$ Canadian funds. There initially was no issues with the company about rebooking but when we requested a refund thing became extremely challenging. Over the course of the last 18 months I have sent over 20 emails and only recieved two replies, the first saying we could get a voucher for a future visit due to covid. This email also said that the company had no funds to provide a refund. I waited many months and went many emails asking for an update. The last email I recieved a response to was approximately 5 months ago where I was advised that the money would be refunded within 3 to 4 weeks. We still do not have the funds. I have continued to email and call the owner and it appears that I am being ghosted by them If there is anyone that could help us get our money back it would be greatly appreciated. This has been extremely stressful for us. Because of this experience I would not recommend using this company

First class “Withlocals” experience with Raffaele, passionate historian who actually did excavations at Pompeii!
We booked a private tour thru “with locals” for Raffaele to take us to pompeii and herculaneum. Weeks before the trip one of my grandsons had a question about Pompeii and was very impressed when I just texted our guide to be and got a quick response back. (How does Grandma know people on the other side of the world?) Having done his dissertation research at Pompeii, he knew the site well and navigated us to amazing highlights and views while minimizing blockage by other tour groups. His stories really brought the place to life, and completely engaged our 2 teens. Many people just meet raffaele at the ruins, but I was nervous about transportation, so he might kindly arranged a driver for us. He also arranged for our driver (Giuseppe from Tastethexperience.com) to stop by a particularly shop in naples for a souvenir I wanted. Really thoughtful. Could not have asked for a more interesting tour guide to see a more interesting place.

    Great day
We had a lovely day with Daniela at Pompeii. My husband has limited mobility and she arranged for us to go to the wheel chair accessible entrance. She contacted our driver to maximize no snafus. She was incredibly knowledgeable and her commentary truly helped Put Pompeii in perspective. You can’t go wrong with her as your guide.

    Trendy Tours Pompeii
We had a wonderful experience with Tredy Tours and would certainly book with them again if we return to the Naples area. We had pre-arranged transportation from the Napoli C. Le. Train station to the Pompeii ruins, a 2 hour hour tour there, and then transportation to our Airbnb in Sorrento. Our train from Rome was delayed and arrived in Naples about an hour late. We were gratified how understanding our driver and tour guide were about the delay; they were both so gracious and welcoming despite it. Our tour guide, Daniela, was totally amazing. She teaches art history and has decades of experience leading tours at the ruins in Pompeii and Herculaneum. Our group was 3 adults, but Daniela would be a great guide for kids too.

    Pompeii and Herculaneum
Our group of 4 visited Pompeii and Herculaneum. Dario was our guide. He was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about both locations, very accommodating regarding our decisions about what to visit, and made the day very interesting. Price was very reasonable and Tredy Day Tours was easy to work with via email from United States. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

    Pompeii Tour and Football Tickets
We recently used Tredy - Italy Tours to secure tickets for Napoli vs Juventus and a Pompeii day trip. In everything that was done Tredy communicated very well and very promptly, particularly for the football tickets that were difficult to secure. We also used them to book us collection from the ground sunday night as it was a late kick off. The driver was prompt, available and very comfy vehicle. The Pompeii package was excellent, private collection/return from our accommodation in Sorrento. We were med by Dario the guide arranged via Tredy who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. You must have a guide for Pompeii or miss out on so much! All in all I couldn't speak higher of the whole organisation. First class, professional and our whole family extremely grateful for making our tip to Sorrento/Naples fantastic!

    Daniela Mantice, Pompeii Guide, excellent
We booked a Pompeii, Amalfi coast full day tour as an excursion from our cruise. Our driver, Lugio, met us as planned outside the cruise terminal. The van was clean and tidy. Although the tour specified an English speaking driver, Lugio spoke very little so there was no real commentary from him, he was friendly but spent most of the time on the phone while driving. We arrived at Pompei and met our guide Daniela Mantice. She was excellent and the 2 hour tour flew by so quick. Daniela was very professional with lots of information and visual aids prepared on her tablet and full of knowledge as we walk through the streets of Pompeii. Well worth the extra money to have Daniela as our guide. She was very friendly and we all loved her guided tour. From there it was a bumper to bumper drive through Sorrento to Prositano where we had a bit of free time to wander and have lunch. Overall the tour was good value and went smoothly. A bit more interaction with our driver would have been good though

Florence AND Naples/Pompeii in a wheelchair - WELL DONE TREDY!
I am a permanent wheelchair user - an electric one - so booked Tredy Tours for 2 of the days when our ship docked. We cruised on Symphony of the Seas - unfortunately there were no excursions offered which are any use for someone using a power wheelchair who cannot walk! But, Tredy Tours really are exceptional for disabled travellers. We dealt with Ernesto and Daniele when booking well ahead - both were so helpful and listened to all my needs and came up with all the solutions. FLORENCE: we docked for Florence on 30th May and were picked up by Nicolo, our driver, in a wheelchair accessible vehicle (one concern was that, although he tied down the wheelchair, he did not offer me a seat belt). Nicolo was quiet and polite, but pointed out a few features on the way. He phoned ahead to liaise with the private guide we had booked and Sara arrived at exactly the same time as us. Sara was a lovely guide and was very well informed - having been in the job for 10 years. We learned SO much about Florence, the Medici family, the architecture, 'David', the history and so on. Sara was extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating to our requests. She was prepared to carry on beyond her time as she was so keen to show us everything and tell us more! So, we were ready for a pavement cafe at 2.15. Thank you, Sara, we will now pronounce Medici correctly! Nicolo was waiting for us at the allocated location and drove us smoothly back to the ship - an amazing day. NAPLES & POMPEII - 1st June - No problem meeting up with our driver Antonio - Tonino - there he was, first thing in the morning with our name on a card. As the wheelchair was to be sited at the very back of the vehicle, I opted to sit up front (due to being a bad traveller AND wanting to see the views) but the vehicle was a high one and a 'little' help was needed from Tonino to get me in - good job he was a rugby player before, even if I only weigh eight and half stone! We were driven to Pompeii with Tonino telling us lots of interesting facts about Vesuvius, Pompeii, the countryside and its people at the time of the earthquake and eruption - this gave us a good grounding of knowledge before our guided tour of Pompeii. Dario, our guide, was waiting for us at the quiet gate. He understood the needs of someone in a wheelchair and showed us where the disabled toilets were located and sorted out our entrance tickets - no waiting around and, we think, we were the very first visitors of the day - going in as they opened the gates. Dario was very well versed (being a historian, archaeologist, long-time guide and speaking excellent English). He knew all the accessible pathways and helped when needed and advised if some areas were more difficult than others. Being there early, Dario was able to walk us in the shade! We also only encountered a couple of groups of people and students blocking the way - quickly and politely moved to one side by Dario. We learned that life in ancient Pompeii did not differ so much from life today - "nothing changes" as Dario said. After seeing the houses, shops, roads, wine bars, graffiti etc the whole place came alive - so it is a shock to see the casts of the bodies of those who perished - very disturbing, but as Goethe said, they left us a gift - "Many disasters have befallen the world, but few have brought posterity so much joy" said Goethe on a visit there. After out 2 hour-guided tour of Pompeii, Dario joined us with Tonino in the taxi back to Naples where we drove to various areas and view points with Dario explaining about the town of Naples, its people and history. Dario then left us to return to his home on Sorrento and as we now needed to eat, we explained to Tonino that one of us is vegetarian - nothing phases this man! He booked a table at a vegetarian restaurant just opposite the Archaeological Museum - the step up was not easy, but with a little effort and a 'run up' in my wheelchair we gained the wide pavement. My own meal was 'Vesuvius' a wonderful construction of pasta tubes, filled with cheese and sauce, and on top a bright red 'fire' of tomato salsa - very appropriate! While we ate, Tonino checked out the accessible toilets at the museum and discovered they were far from clean - we opted to wait until we returned to the Cruise Terminal. I was a little concerned that Tonino's wife might be a little 'put out' by her husband having to lift a woman in and out of his vehicle. Not only did he reassure us that she would be fine, we parked under his apartment balcony and his wife stepped out and waved down to us - a lovely moment! Tredy Tours are definitely the best for disabled travellers who use wheelchairs - we would recommend them to anyone.

Soccer tickets for Napoli vs Crotone
Working with Tredy Tour Company was so easy and comfortable. I knew purchasing tickets for an Italian soccer game would be difficult but Teddy made the entire process so smooth. They even got in touch with the apartment owners of the home we were staying at so they could mail our tickets to them. It was the last game of the season and the very first real soccer game we saw.... And Napoli won! I can't thank Tredy enough for the wonderful customer service. Highly recommend! Thank you especially to Ernesto and Daniele!

Tredy you have been outstanding from start to finish - thank you! Through Tredy we arranged airport pick-ups and tours to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Versuvius and Amalfo Coast all tailored for my dad's wheelchair needs. Rosa and Tonino were amazing guides and ensured that the trip was enjoyable and smooth from start to finish.

Day trip to Pompeii / Ercolano and Vesuvius
Antonio picked up us on time and with a wheelchair as I had a bad leg but it was not needed in the end. We arrived at Pompeii and met Daniela our guide, we were the first in the park and it was snowing almost unheard of since 50 years. We had 2 wonderful hours with Daniela who is one of the best guides my family have ever had! She made it personal for each family member. We then when to Eroclano and the sun came out, we purchased some new dry shoes for my daughter with Daniela's help and spend another 2 hours with a yet again fantastic guide sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge. Finally Antonio drove up Vesuvius until the snow stopped up just over half was up. All in all a great trip, again a very special mention to Daniela - make sure you ask for her personally she made our trip.

Wheelchair and Dario to the rescue in Pompeii
A HUGE Thank you for making this Pompeii visit a possibility. After realizing last minute that a wheelchair was necessary for my husband, Tredy made it happen and communicated constantly via email to arrange for Dario our very knowledgable, English speaking guide/archaeologist to meet us at Pompeii with a wheelchair for my husband. Without this accommodation, we never could have visited this incredible location which is not to be missed. Dario knew exactly what directions we needed to walk to avoid crowds and crowded walkways. We did see quite a bit of the handicapped accessible areas in 2 hours. Dario was so caring and assisted me in using the wheelchair in challenging areas. My husband always felt included and a part of this Pompeii experience. With gratitude Dario and Tredy. I did pay with PayPal and it worked perfectly.

Brilliant Herculaneum visit with guide Dario
Booked a private tour for Herculaneum + Vesuvius but had to swap Vesuvius for a Naples city tour given Vesuvius closed due to hill fires. Guide Dario's 2 hour tour of Herculaneum was great in terms of the total duration, pacing and the information shared was fascinating for the history buffs but not too dense for the kids (9 and 10) to dip into whenever they stopped running around the ruins. Herculaneum is well preserved, some mosaics and frescoes still in place, and small enough to cover meaningfully in 2 hours. Word of warning - we got picked up from our cruise ship at Naples and it took us an hour to connect with our driver. The port is big and busy plus the access roads are one way so make sure you make detailed arrangements on where to meet. When you clear port security, exit right for taxi and parking and left for "car valet". Aside from that hiccup, driver Francesco was also great. Super punctual himself but flexible with whatever time we needed.

Pompeii - Wheelchair Accessible Tour with Tredy - Excellent!
I have been to Pompeii before so I know how difficult it is to walk around so didn't think we would be able to go as my husband is in a wheelchair . However, whilst researching this trip I found out that there is an accessible route around Pompeii. Sadly this shore excursion was not being run by our cruise company so I booked an independent tour through Tredy Tours. I did worry that nobody would turn up but the smart and friendly driver arrived at the cruise port bang on time and drove us to Pompeii, pointing out things of interest on the way. When we arrived at Pompeii we were met by Philomena, our tour Guide. She was absolutely lovely incredibly knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hours with her. At the end of the tour, she took us back to our driver who returned us to the ship. Yes it was pricey but absolutely worth every penny. Well done to all concerned.
