Outstanding! The best tour of our entire trip! Best Tour Guide EVER. He made us feel like we had stepped into the actual time period. Amazing!

Flawless and friendly pickup from Naples in a very nice Mercedes driven by Francesco. Whisked across to Pompeii where we spent four fabulous hours with Italo. Italo (in perfect English ) have us a fascinating insight to various aspects of life, history and the structures of Pompeii. It was educational but fascinating, and he knew all the great spots to visit if you don't have days to be there. Pompeii is so extensive it would be easy enough to spend a couple of days looking around and not see all that was been excavated. A reminder it is often hot and thirsty viewing, and there are no supplies on offer inside the town walls, so take a day pack with water and snacks, sunscreen and a hat. We enjoyed spending the time with Italo (highly recommended) and on the way home Francesco detoured through some fascinating streets in Naples to show is some sights on the way home to the hotel Simply couldn't have been better! Outstanding private tour! AMAZING. We did a private tour with our three teenage kids and we all loved it. Tour guide ( I think Rosanna? ) was absolutely fantastic. It was the perfect amount of time for us. I recommend the morning if possible- less crowds and a little cooler if you are there in the summer. Highly recommend!!

Our family group of 15 had the pleasure and good fortune to have Rosanna as our guide for the half-day Pompeii tour in mid-July. As was mentioned in every review with Rosanna as their guide, she is indeed warm, extremely knowledgeable, and without a doubt absolutely passionate about what she does. We had 5 young people in our group spanning in age from 6 to 15 and she addressed each one of them ( as well as the adults) in some manner throughout the tour, with both warmth and humor. In fact, the 15 yr. old teenage young man commented while touring the Colosseum days later that their guide was “no Rosanna”! So much to see and as always, never enough time, but Rosanna certainly did her optimal best in sharing Pompeii with us … we can’t recommend this tour nor her highly enough. 100% worth it. After doing some group tours in rome, it was very nice to have a private guide for my wife and I. Rosanna, our guide, was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and you could tell how much she loved Pompeii even after 35 years of leading tours. Getting to skip the line was also nice. We spent about 2 hours with our guide and she showed us her favorite parts of the site. She also gave us recommendations of things to explore on our own.

Was a little nervous when we booked as there are so many options, but Private Tours of Pompeii was excellent every step of the way. It was very easy to reserve, with a reassuring confirmation. They picked us up at our hotel in Sant'Agnello in a really nice van with a very friendly driver who handed us off to an amazing tour guide. The guide was an Anthropologist at the University in Naples and was extremely knowledgeable about Pompeii. We had three small children in the group of 9 and he did a masterful job of keeping it interesting for the kids, while covering so much information for the adults. This was absolutely one of the highlights of our entire 10 day Italian vacation.

My family had an amazing day in June 2023. We took the high speed train from Rome to Naples (highly recommended!) and our driver, Guido, met us at the station. He was great! A local with in-depth knowledge of the area. He was very friends and interesting not to mention a very skilled driver. The roads to the Amalfi Coast are not easy but he did a fantastic job. We had lunch in Positano, then back to Pompeii where we met Rossana for the highlights tour. I wish we had left more time for Pompeii as it is truly as breathtaking as everyone says it is. Absolute 100% must do if you are in central Italy. Rossana is passionate and full of insight and we could not have asked for a better guide. She went out of her way to engage our two boys (ages 10 and 13) as well and is great with kids. Overall, this trip was a highlight of our time in Italy and I highly recommend this company. Ask for Guido and Rossana if you can, but I'm sure all their drivers and guides are great. Ciao!

Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about Pompeii, especially because he worked as an archeologist there! He was very kind and knew little details about everything. Our driver, Quido, was also very kind and stopped to allow us to take photos at a Terrace. Overall, great experience!

We had an outstanding tour of both Pompeii and Herculaneum. Our tour guide, Rossana, was the best! Her background in archelogy and familiarity with sites made the trip even better. I went with my 4 college age nephews and we all learned so much and had a great experience.

Our private guide, Itolo, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He brought Pompeii to life for us and made sure we saw the most important aspects of the site.

We worked with Maria on the Pompeii tour and realized that she could help us with private tours of the Vatican and Coliseum in Rome as well. She was incredibly helpful and made our bucket list vacation to Italy outstanding. My husband and I agree these private tours are a "Must Do"! Francesca's personalized tour of Pompeii was amazing with so many interesting tidbits about this massive site! Sara at the Vatican, and Claudia at the Coliseum, were also very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and knew exactly what to show us and how to skip the lines (and dodge the large tour groups) along the way. Fantastic!! The private tours are worth every cent with their personalized service--Francesca even led us to the best pizza in Naples as we were preparing to take a train back to Rome that evening. 10/10 is our rating, and we would rate higher if we could! They even arranged for private transportation from our VRBO on the Amalfi Coast to Pompeii (where the driver watched our luggage in the vehicle during our tour)! Wow! We had the most amazing tour with Leelo! Leelo is an archeologist who is an expert on Pompei. His tour was absolutely fantastic!! The amount of detail and history that he was able to convey and articulate was off the charts! He was engaging and inviting.
