Our private tour of the Sorrentino vinyard was an absolute highlight of our trip to Napoli. Andrea picked us up from our hotel, and before long we were enjoying a lovely walk through this excellent vinyard, learning a lot about making wine on the slopes of Vesuvius and the history of the surrounding area. The food and paired wines were delicious and plentiful. I don't have a lot of experience with wine tasting, but Andrea was great not just at explaining the pairings, but also teaching us what to look for ourselves. You don't need to be a connoisseur (yet!) to enjoy this wonderful experience.

I would love to have attended this private vineyard tour with gourmet lunch. It looked perfect, and would have been the high point of my vacation in Naples. I booked the tour - or so I thought. Cue emails from the tour operator saying they could not run the tour. Then more emails from the tour operator trying to get me to switch to a bespoke tour, which would have cost thousands of Euros. A clear "bait and switch" and "upsell" marketing tactic. Very disappointed. TripAdvisor should only partner with operators who are reputable and actually want to run the tour as advertised.

Beyond expectations. Everything about this tour was amazing. Andreas was more than a guide, he was so passionate about the land, and how everything grows and works together. But also true wine expert. My husband is not a wine drinker and he enjoyed this experience very much. Truly magical.

Andrea was superb! Incredible tour of the Sorrentino vineyard with an insightful and educational explanation of the bio-dynamic winery method where they use nature to take care of nature. Andrea collected us at the cruise port and took us on a drive to the Mount Vesuvius area and to the most beautiful vineyard. After walking through the vineyard we began a wine pairing with a delicious 3 course lunch. We added to our knowledge of tasting wine and appreciated all the education from an expert somolier (Andrea). The tasting included sparkling, whites and reds including a special 2010 Paulo determined to be the perfect vintage. It was a perfect way to spend the day in Napoli!

My grandma and I had an amazing time. Andrea is the absolute best. We learned so much and ate the best foods and drunk amazing wines.

Andrea was a wonderful guide to the Wine world of Capania region. He built upon our basic knowledge of Wine and really made us connect to the area. We enjoyed the lunch that was paired with our wines very much. He is an excellent guide and we would take any trip he offered.

This was our second tour with Andrea to a different area of Campania. The day with Andrea is amazing and perfect for beginners as well as those with an expert knowledge of wine. Campania has many unique grape varieties with traditional as well as modern methods of making wine, providing a special and unforgettable experience in Italy! It’s something you really have to do in Naples!

Andrea was magnificent! 5 stars are not enough for this tour. His knowledge is unmatched. It was a wonderful day spent walking through the vineyard and learning so much. Then we had the tasting paired with food and a presentation from Andrea. This is a must do tour. Everything was exceptional!

Andrea collected us from the airport and took us to our hotel, following morning he picked us up and we started an incredible journey around a vineyard overlooking Vesuvius. Andrea’s detailed knowledge was so interesting and all the information easy to absorb because of the way he explained everything. The tour covered so much more than we were expecting. Then a real Italian meal which was oh so fresh and natural meticulously prepared. Andrea made sure we had all the time in the world to walk among the vines and just absorb the environment. When all the touring was over Andrea took us back to the airport the following day. This experience was the highlight of our Italian holiday and most certainly we will return for another different tour of the Napoli vineyards with Andrea. He is quite simply the best professional sommelier wine guide we have ever encountered, inexpensive too. Thank you Andrea for all your warmth and kindness.

Andrea was amazing he's very interesting and passionate in what he does, my son and I were very satisfied we ate fresh tomatoes from the wine yard,the family was very friendly. Very nice expérience we recommend this guy. 💯👍

He tailored the experience to our interest, making it informative but not overwhelming. The tour started with a walk through the Sorrentino vineyard, followed by a tasting at the on-site restaurant. Andrea, a dynamic and engaging guide, struck a perfect balance between being informative and approachable. He is fluent in both Italian and English, making the tour ideal for multinational couples or groups. Even with my short attention span, the four-hour tour flew by. There was enough downtime to relax and absorb the information, and Andrea was always happy to answer our questions. It felt like a perfect blend of learning and fun, which is rare to find in tours. On top of that, the price was very reasonable! The entire venue was stunning, and the staff was incredibly warm and friendly. I can't wait to return for a deeper dive into sparkling wines! Andrea over delivered on the experience. His lively commentary touched on many points of growing grapes on a volcano. From various types of trellising to the stratification of pyroclastic flows and how the many varieties of wines are produced. The wine and food pairing was spot on and delicious. Through out the tour he asked questions to ensure we understood and that we were using our newly acquired knowledge. When you book with Napoli Wine Tour you are in for a wonderful experience!!

Andrea is a great profesional. The tour was great. We learned a lot of things. It was amazing to discover how the wines are different in respext of the disbes we eat. Such a privilège to have a dedicated sommelier just for us. And transfer fm Naples so mich appreciated. We recommend this experience.
