About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Richie N0 contributionsGreat little stop off for an hour or so!Our tour guide was excellent, with excellent English! Interesting history of the use of the caves and how they have developed over the centuries.Written August 4, 2024
- Mickayla300 contributionsDidn’t even get to go!Would love to say I got to go on this adventure to capri. I booked - they charged - they then whatsapped me asking if I was coming from a cruiseship. When I said no they promptly cancelled my booking claiming “bad weather” even though it’s clearly 32 degrees with minimal winds. Tried to get me to take the following day which according to the sea report is actually worse weather - go figure!Written July 9, 2024
- Leicstourist0 contributionsCapri boat tour is just about OKFirst you have to go and find the outlet that will print your prebooked ticket. Then you have to find where you have to board - the queues are chaotic and we somehow jumped the queue and ended up on a boat where there were not enough seats for everyone to sit outside. The commentary was OK but the trip was overall good. Discovered that the additional tour to the Blue Grotto was also chaotic. There were long queues for it and an additional 18 euros to pay. Passed! Probably very over-rated.Written October 10, 2023
- savannacoon0 contributionsMartina, the tour guide, made this tour unforgettable!!Our tour guide, Martina, was incredible. Very knowledgeable, extremely kind, and alert in the tunnels as she navigated us. Martina was happy to answer any questions the group had. The tunnels are quite the sight! I would definitely recommend this trip!Written August 12, 2023

- nicolegM5417TA0 contributionsGood Introduction to Amalfi CoastI was weary as there was only one review for this excursion. I don’t usually trust tours without reviews, so I figured I would help out the next person trying to make a decision and might be overwhelmed like I was. On piece of advice for Amalfi in general: When in doubt, be assertive and ask questions. Things to know. We were in Amalfi end of May 2023. It was beginning of busy season, so be prepared for the crowds. PROS: We only had 3 days in Amalfi so we didn’t have much time to thoroughly visit all of the Amalfi towns. This gives you a nice taste of a couple of them and a nice cruise along the water which is much better than driving along the coast. Some of the other tours only do an hour in each town. 2 hours is much better. CONS: There were NOT “up to 99 people” on this tour as advertised. Perhaps on the way there in the AM, but on the way back, my guess was 250 people. It was difficult to find a seat for three of us. My guess is the boat acts more as a ferry and will keep selling tickets to one-way passengers. I had trouble finding where to pick up my vouchers. On the original post, it said ticket office 6. Which I found a small #6 but the window was closed to what looked like construction or abandonment. I asked a few people and finally found a small stand to get my ticket. I recommend to the tour company, that if the location changes, that an update be sent the day before. I arrived 25 minutes before and felt a little panicked as I was running around looking for the stand. As advertised it said it was visiting Amalfi first and then Positano. Not a big deal, but again, different than advertised. TIPS We were told to go to dock #3. Dock #3 was boarding 10:00. We had 10:10. Turns out they were boarding from dock #2 (so be sure to ask questions). We saw this happen the next day as well. What boat pulls into what dock seems loosie goosy. Just a tip: We had the same boat and the same crew take us to each spot. Memorize the name of the boat. People will line up 20-30 minutes before the boat loads up at each port. If you aren’t particular about getting a seat up top or by the window, spend some more time enjoying the town and not in a crush of people. You have an assigned time and boat. Head to the dock 5 minutes before departure time. Wait till the boat starts loading. There will be people squishing on the dock early for the next timed boat. Either walk through the exit instead of the entrance or push through and say “private tour.” And walk on last. Then you deal less with the crowd and more time in port.Written May 30, 2023
- Joha N0 contributionsDon’t missAn outing not to be missed. We went on our guided tour of the Bourbon Tunnel not knowing what to expect. After getting down the stairs (claustrophobics beware) I could breathe again but if I could do it, most people should be able to (it is steep, tight and narrow) but focus on something else because it is worth it. Our guide David was wonderful. Knowledgeable and with a great sense of humour, he made the story of the tunnel come alive. I have been thinking about what he described to us ever since as he helped us travel back in time to something our generation knows nothing about. Almost to much emotion to take in but so worth it. Bravo to the whole team that does the care and storytelling to keep history alive.Written May 29, 2023
- Alison C0 contributionsA very interesting & insightful tourThis tour had been recommended to me & I am so glad we managed to go as the tours are only on Friday to Sunday at certain times so you do need to book. Our guide was knowledgeable, with interesting stories to tell & engaged with all age groups. It's amazing the different uses of the tunnels over the years from Royal escape route to illegal tip. I was especially interested in the stories from WW2 & the fact these had been gathered from people's personal experiences of life in the tunnels as air raid shelters. I was surprised to hear that the tunnels are managed & are being excavated by volunteers. If I lived in Naples I'd love to have signed up to join this amazing group.Written May 25, 2023

- Y4349ADjamiep0 contributionsSwim, culture, beauty and magical views! The boat journey was brilliant. We were with Pepe' and he brought drinks and a sandwich. Lots of swimming and diving. On Capri we visited Ana Capri which is superb and extremely picturesque. We visited a house with an art collection called Villa San Michele, home of the author Axel Munthe whose story is fascinating The house has tons of roman relics as the same spot had a villa of the emporer Tiberius on it once. The gardens and views are spectacular too. It is expensive to buy food and drinks in the harbour but not so bad in Anacapri. It was hot so we didn't go to the chair lift or Capri where all the designer shops are, we didn't think it was necessary our visit was great. One thing we were a touch dissapointed with was not swimming in a grotto. Apparently rock had been falling recently and the tour guide said it was a bit dangerous. But it didn't matter the day super! 😊 ❤️ ❤️Written July 29, 2022

- Pioneer008460700430 contributionsNaples underground is better then above ground!Best experience in Naples, we took an English tour with Sabrina, and it was really funny! Also, it is clear she is not a tour guide, but someone with deep interest in the history, which makes the tour amazing. Recommend 100%.Written November 13, 2021
