          Fantastic
We went on day one of our honeymoon and it set the bar extremely high for the other tours we’ve booked. The guides were filled with information making it fun to learn more.

Audio device ran out of battery an hour into a 2 and a half tour. Guide was great but It would have been better if device was fully charged. Device was for my son, had baby written on it. I gave him my adult device. He enjoyed the tour.

          Pompeii via Sorrento
Well worth getting guided tour. 2 hours approx £30 per person. About 15 people in our group. Lasted 2 hrs then spent another few exploring. Take food, drink with you. There's a pizza shop, but it's very busy. We stayed in Sorrento. Great transport links. Trains are good, but be prepared to stand in high season.

The experience was wonderful. Only problem is if you get the audio guide amd try to listen all one day is not enough. Obtaining the guide was fast and easy.

Upgrade to guided tour was worth it
We upgraded to a guided experience for 2hrs upon arrival, for an additional 20 euro. We got head sets to hear the guide better, and stayed longer to walk around ourselves afterwards. Our guide was entertaining and full of enthusiasm. However because we took the guided tour, we didn’t get the audio set to accompany our discoveries after the guided walk was completed. Pro tip - Take plenty of water in the hot months!!!

          Disappointing experience
Our 11am tour started when our tour guide met us at 11:25am and took us downstairs and gave us headsets. But then there were multiple people who randomly joined our tour who did not have their entry tickets yet, or didn't know they needed them and so we had to wait for them to organise themselves. If people are disorganized and not following instructions, it's probably best to leave without waiting for them. Especially the family who only had one entry tickets for the entire family, and didn't listen until he tried to fit them all through the ticketed gate at once, and then we had to wait for them to be let through. Before we could even get to the ticketed entrance, the tour guide stopped us just down the road at her friend's gelato shop and asked if anyone wanted to buy water and gelato before we went in. This should obviously be something that people do in their own time, not something half an hour after a tour should have begun. Our actual tour did not begin for 41 minutes past our starting time. Each time she stopped the tour to speak, she stopped us in the sun. Most of the time there was no need at all to stop, as we had headsets and she could walk and talk to us, or we could look at something while she waited to the side if she wanted to. The "two hour tour" was incorrect. The tour then ended abruptly at 1:15pm and we were told to hand over our headsets and follow her if we wanted to leave, or we could roam around freely. She kept on giving the tour "free time" at random intervals. 5 minutes for photos in this area, meet back soon... Wander around here and meet me back here... We will wait here for the people that want to have a toilet break, etc. This should not be part of a guided tour, as we have booked this to see and learn about this archeological site and we felt like most of the tour wasn't even her speaking. We also noticed that the tour guide gave us incorrect information about toilets and where to fill up water bottles, stating there was only one place - but we found many as we walked around later ourselves.

It was really good but the audio guide was poor.
I would rate the booking experience and overall value for money 5* The admission was as expected, although we had to queue anyway to prove our under 18 daughter's age so not much time saved there. The audio guide was pretty patchy (via a hand held mobile phone) as not all of the sites of major interest were covered. We ended up standing and listening to the other groups human guides or asking an assistant. My wife purchased a 'get your guide' audio description from the kiosk for 8 Euro as she was so disappointed. I carried on regardless. That said l feel we got good value and would encourage others to take up the offer which was the best price in town.

Great experience and definitely worth a visit, we did upgrade on the day to a guided tour
We upgraded on the day to take part in a guided tour, was a great way to see some of the highlights and then did another couple of hours on our own. The guide answered all the group’s questions with good knowledge and then stayed with us shortly after to give people advice of what to explore on there own

          Pompeii Tour with Ciro G
Ciro was amazing!! Had so much fun on this tour despite the heat, he answered all our questions and managed to squeeze so much into a 2 hour tour. Would definitely recommend :)

          No help just pay.
Well it seems that, they are charging a lot more than the fee of entry. 30 euro each ticket. But we did ask about the ticket and the public transport. But instead of help we were told to buy the ticket for 30 euro and then we got into a car driving up there. I am a little disappointed in the way that business was conducted. Would not recommend this company based upon this experience.

          Annalisa is the best guide!
We booked a walking tour of Pompeii and we weren't sure what it would be like. However, the organisation of the tour and the tour itself were superb. Annalisa was an amazing tour guide, her presentation, knowledge and warm nature had me hooked from the start. Annalisa's knowledge of Pompeii was incredible and she made us laugh with her jokes and the various 'mamma mia' moments! I was sorry when the tour came to an end but Annalisa did point out some onwards places to go and lookaround. We then went over to Herculaneum and both commented that we wanted Annalisa to show us around! Annalisa's real gift is being able make your tour feel really special, even though she does 4 a day. The in-ear radio devices worked well and if we did fall a bit behind we were easily able to find Annalisa thanks to her green umbrella. I've always wanted to go to Pompeii, thank you Annalisa for helping to make it a really great experience!

          Fantastic tour with Annalisa
Annalisa was our English speaking tour guide and she was phenomenal. I was a bit sceptical about being guided around Pompeii but I’m so glad we were. Annalisa was warm, very witty, and incredibly knowledgeable and interesting, telling us all the things we never would have known had we not had a guide. Anna Lisa’s English was also superb. We were all given an ear piece so we could hear Annalisa talking into a mic; so much better than straining your ears to hear what’s being said. We also skipped the queue by taking this guided tour, worth doing in the heat! Overall, no regrets and I’m SO glad we had the tour (something I’d normally avoid!)

Great guide don’t forget required ID for under 18.
Great guide. Very informative and perfect length. Office was pretty easy to find to. We took a taxi and provided tour company name. We also brought ID for our kids under 18 as required but I think it might help others to highlight why. The ID is required because under 18 is free to enter but the ticket is provided by the archeological site, not the tour company and they needed to confirm age. They were super nice to a couple on our tour who did not have the required documentation though. Tried to get them another discount if they could prove they are from EU. Really kind of them.

          Not very satisfied
The agency is across the street from Porta Marina which is very convenient however the clerk didn’t have anymore headsets which made it very hard to follow the tour because the volume was very low on the phone as a result I did not use it. Upon returning the phone he inspected the phones and was trying to find something wrong with them, it was in my pocketbook the whole time. Then he tried to upsell an archeological tour to us, of course for more money. Would not use them again!

          Confusing directions, adequate tour
Confusing directions to meet tour guide, unclear what “group” vs “private meant” Originally wanted a tour for myself and four friends. What the ad implied was that our group of 4 would be the only people, what actually is offered was a large group tour we were added to. Also the tour office/meeting point directions are vague and confusing. Once the tour began the guide was good, general overview of the ruins with ideas to explore further afterwards.
